Crowdfunding mining campaign:We will be running yet another community mining session. Other than previous sessions, this one is without a cap limitation. That way, everyone is able to participate, for the amount they desire. Pre-mine has been made available to cover this session. This means a win-win situation, should you want to participate as well. This works as following: You can participate by putting in Bitcoin. This will be sold to you in the form of packages, where you get NLG back in return for your Bitcoin at a rate of 600 satoshi. Added to that, you will also receive a part of the total mining revenues, equal to your stake in this mining session. This way you would not only contribute to the Gulden netwerk, but from a financial point of view it would work out equally positively for you. For those that do not know how to mine, this will be done for you. All you would have to do, is to tell for how many packages you would like to participate. This mining session will last for around 2 months. The total raised funds, will determine the speed at which we will mine. The specs for what is possible in terms of speed:Every raised 0.9 BTC equals 100 Mh/s Scrypt for the duration of roughly 1440 hours (roughly 60 days) IPOEvery package equals 10.000 NLG. Costs per package are 0.06 BTC. The deadline is 6 December. Based on your stake, you will receive your share of mining revenues. I want to start my own forum for Gulden for the community to discuss topics that are non technical but will help if technical questions do come. My brother will also help with it.
We are looking for a good name. Please post suggestions in here.
How about just "guldenforum". Easy, simple, and logical. guldenforum is a good name. I would recommend asking the very first forum owner if you can take over his forum, that one was called Forum.guldencoin.com and had over 200 registered users and was very popular, you can change the name to forum.gulden.com. From what I could tell zone was ok but never achieved what forum.guldencoin.com had in terms of activity. I don't agree here. Gulden.zone achieved quite a lot in that amount of time. Brought in quite some new users by it's very good organized google search. Database was growing in the latter stages quite fast. Also a lot of unique visitors daily. Anyway, a new forum won't solve the problem which is there and will also stay there. We should have one organized forum. Call me the whiner again. I don't mind, good luck building a new one. Why was it shutdown if it was doing well? |

To confirm after the change it will be 240 blocks per hour, 5760 block a day and +- 2.1 million blocks a year. Digibyte will need to run off wallets like multibit that does not require the blockchain to be downloaded. |

The attackers have hurt various miners profits with the downtime on Bittrex exchange. We would like to fork a few coins in response to this that are not on our list of coins we mine. Please send a message to me on which other coins would attack Gulden and we will inflict some pain.
Please don't hurt AUR , I have +-20k coins and support both Gulden and AUR. Just to back up with @Waterloo... AUR has nothing to do with it. Gulden won't damage AUR or any other coin and vica versa. Period. I am really glad we got attacked at this point in time and not later which could have done really more damage. From now we are armed and ready to build the future for Gulden! Digibyte has had problems with the people from GroestlCoin in the past because they are super jealous that the GRS algorithm is associated with digibyte and not their coin. Gulden is more complex because of the hardened debates between NLG and EFL community, AUR members are also being upset with decisions taken with Gulden. Best to move on and be thankful that Gulden has a good development team that was able to respond in a timely manner. |

Currently, it seems another 51% attack is happening?
51% Attack? Do we know who is doing it , if anything happens to Gulden there will be a war that will destroy cryptos for good. Attackers you have been warned. Another? What happened? More then once means it's intentional. I can think of a few people that will want to hurt Gulden. These attacks is most likely to do with the announcement of Nocks as a fintech company for Gulden which was very big news for the currency. @Buerra any other coins that wanted you to add them to Nocks recently and you refused them? |

Managed to get 2 new people into Gulden. I have asked them to give feedback on what they find difficult to understand and I will PM the devs with some recommendations later this week.
The current price of Gulden is like Digibyte was in the 20s a few weeks ago. Absolute giveaway. Picked up another +100 000 coins which I shared with my 2 friends. Spread the word about Gulden to people close to you and help them understand. People fear what they do not understand.
Congratz your friends with their first shares, indeed an absolute giveaway. Hope they will deliver good feedback to improve future bussiness. Great work as always @Bluestreet I 2nd what Jero said. @Bluestreet feel free to post there findings in public, it would be good to see if others agree with the feedback they give. This needs to be more visible like in the 1.4 wallets. Once I showed them it was smooth sailing besides the other obvious general crypto questions you get. The big positive is the backup tab, both of them backed up the wallet without me having to ask. This was a great change to the wallet. The one question I got was how often must they backup? The other request was a direct US/NLG pairing but explained it's not possible at this time. I explained how they can buy bitcoin and then buy directly on bittrex. |

Please put a 3 million sell order at bittrex at 600 and I will buy some up over the next few days. It will also help with better distribution instead of one person buying it all and is much safer for you and the other person from getting scammed. What pijpenstelen said, I have a few friends that are showing interest in trying out the digital currency world this weekend (due to the latest bitcoin rally) and I will make sure Gulden is part of there portfolios. |
