Anybody joining me on Nonce?

It's very appreciated you are sacrificing your rig for the good of community. But if you have couple of GPU's rig, rather point it to Nonce which supports high fixed difficulty. I tried to mine on Suprnova for a while now but I can't reach max speed as on 1Gh or Nonce. So I have now connected to Nonce with 71Mh/s rig for next couple of hours.

Oh I like mining on diff 60, it's like during the launch. If this trend continues, I will mine 2000 coins a day with 3x280x. :-)  I think this is gonna be the last coin I was mining, it's just pure waste of energy, this whole mining "business". Playing some good games on 3x280x would be much more efficiently spent time. :-) 

While monitoring what's going on on ALT-coin market currently I wonder how this coin can get noticed by wider public. You can see that currently DRK and NAUT are sucking capital from all existing altcoins including BlackCoin. I think the market is realizing that coins with real innovation are worth spending money. But now it's anyway too late to mine those coins.

Brokkir: can we implement POS with DarkSend on MNR? I think this would be now the only chance to survive. Or maybe think about something totally new?  Otherwise we are dead just like HVC. Nobody will buy this coin. Why would anybody do it? There are tons of coins with latest features copied from other successful coins. Until MNR price rises to some normal price, there will be like thousands of new coins. The total amount of capital in crypto world is limited while number of coins rising. So at the end few successful coins are sucking money from all altcoins. The chance that most altcoins start rising independently is very low.

Sorry for this FUD but before my electricity bill arrives I would like to know what is the plan, other then "hobby mining". I'm mining nonstop from day 0 but I think as of Monday I'm pointing the rig back to BlackCoinPool and X11 or I start gaming on my rig, finally.   I think gaming is more sure, BC could be dead by Monday most probably.

But you promote another P&D <insertname>Coin? Of course it will grow as all the pump and dump coins do. This whole crypto business is one big scam right? I invested in BlackCoin originally because I thought that with BlackCoin cards and Coinkite it might really get mass adopted and the value will rise naturally in long term. You stopped believing that Coinkite might help BC to get mass adopted? What is that LibertyCoin offering to people other than violent P&D rides? There are tons of such shitcoins already everywhere. Do you think that you are such a crypto-celebrity already to be able to redirect significant capital from other coins to XLB?. Who are you btw? Why don't you show your face and do some public discussion? I think more people would trust you then. If you are hiding behind IconicExpert nick, who besides Troiste can trust you? Maybe you are an honest person but in this world of scammers and hackers, you can't expect community to trust you just because you are a "nice novel writer" and sometimes you might have good ideas (which at the end may serve only the purpose to make profit for you or little group of invidiuals). Lot of people jumping also on NAUT submarine and why if it's just another shitcoin? Because people apparently trust Brian Kelly and they know if this coin fails heavily, they can find him and go kick his ass. The same with MaxCoin. I am really sorry about BC guys (soepkip, etc..) in one aspect, everybody knows their faces and if BC fails one day heavily, somebody can get really pissed off and find those guys. That's why I really appreciate those guys that they had a courage to speak publicly and let people know who they are (unlike you). The fact they are publicly known must motivate them even more to work on BC heavily to deliver their promises. It would motivate me if I knew some savage 100kg tattoed bagholder is going to hunt me one day for flushing his money into toilet.

I haven't seen any stake since 10.5. My wallet is unlocked. Before it was staking like crazy every couple of hours. What's the problem?

Go and read few pages back. I had the same problem and it somehow resolved itself. Something with node IP addresses to be changed in CONF file.

Go and buy BlackCoin while it's cheap.

Remember, it's only dead when nobody will be mining it. :-) Example: BlackBlackCoin. I give you another example, check OpenSourceCoin hashrate/price chart how long it was dying, really long. If you don't understand that big spike last days, go on Twitter and ask Bryce Weiner what he did to that coin so that it rose from ashes.

Today CWC will be added to Mintpal?

I have no more BTC to buy MNR currently as I have invested almost all in BC and price is dropping so I have to wait for BC to rise at least to 30K if ever . BUT, I mine MNR with all my gear now, DIFF is ridiculously low, so more coins which hopefully one day will have some value. Maybe we shouldn't try to push the coin too hard because it has completely opposite effect sometimes. Just let it be for a while, mine on low diff, keep voting on Mintpal and asking other exchanges to get us listed and in the meantime we can prepare infrastructure around the coin like block explorer, difficulty/hashrate chart, nicer website and some marketing plan. Currently this coin has no toys, it seems very boring. Question is who should develop those toys, brokkir doesn't seem to be very communicative. :-) He maybe expects that community will do the rest, which is an option.

@Brokkir: what are your plans btw. Why have you launched this coin? What is your expectation? What are your dreams? It seems we didn't have time to discuss this since launch.

Hey guys, what's up with the OSC pools Dsync and iSpace. Both seem not to be mining OSC at all.

MNR is currently most traded coin on CryptoAltex. We brought some life into this exchange finally! :-) It's very little volume comparing to other exchanges but at least this is good signal for bigger exchanges that this coin has some potential and might become hit of this summer together with other "asic-resistant coins" like x11 or groestl.

Don't forget to vote on Mintpal, everybody at least 10 votes everyday please . We might never reach the top but at least we will show how strong and determined this MNR community is. In order for Mintpal/Cryptsy to notice us we should be first get listed on several other medium size exchanges like Bittrex and Poloniex and generate some significant volume there first (20-40 BTC/day). This will attract new miners and traders and snowball effect would come next.

Does anybody remember when and how HVC was added to Mintpal? I have feeling that HVC never reached first position on the voting list but was added anyway.

Let me share my today's finding. Today I have reinstalled Catalyst drivers from 13.12 to 14.14 on a PC where I have Sapphire R7 260x. The speed increased from previous 8,6Mh to 10,15Mh that is cca 18% speed improvement. I have uninstalled previous drivers with "Display driver uninstaller" in a safe mode so that new drivers can be installed in a clean way. Then I have tried to re-install newest drivers 14.4 also on another rig with 280x and 290 but no speed improvement. However in this case I haven't used display driver uninstaller as the machine is on remote site and I can't go to safe mode. Can somebody please try to make clean install of Catalyst drivers to version 14.4 using display driver uninstaller and let us know if you experienced speed improvement on 280x or 290?

Test, Test...Am I banned already? :-) No guys, I don't want to disrupt this blog. I just want to warn all newbies to be careful when buying Cinni now. It's already way too much pumped and there is still potential to buy cheaper, patience pays off. I got burned myself on many coins when I started trading couple of months ago just because I was trying to follow mass propaganda on twitter or blogs saying that this is the best time to buy,buy,buy. Now I know, it's the time to get out when propaganda starts.

But BC was pumped so extremely because whale knew that due to CoinKite people will be willing to buy it for whatever price so they misused people's euphoria for their huge profits.There are also tons of BC bagholders now who just wait to dump their coins at least at the price they bought it so it will be much more difficult to get over 100K but once BC will be added to CoinKite system the BC bagholders' dreams might become true. But what is the motivation for Cinni fanclub that the price will go up? Any sign of being adopted massively by merchants? Because this is the key thing which can boost value of a crypto-coin. Fancy websites, stupid multipools or millions of chart and faucet tools around a coin don't add that much to coin value. All those tools are already a default necessity, not something special. Not talking about the fact that Cinni is copy&paste of BC and you have seen how copy&pasted coins like WC and AC ended up after first huge pump.
