701  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much of a bump will BTC get from Eth crashing? on: June 19, 2016, 12:27:04 AM
Cause you know all that Eth being sold is parking in BTC...

Yep..ETH and BTC have inversely correlated for months now....

I have however, yet to hear a good explanation as to why this is the case.

Why does people selling ETH for BTC, which are sitting on an exchange, after someone has already bought the BTC with USD; have to result in people trading in BTC for USD?

This does not make sense.
When Bitcoin goes up in theory all altcoins should go down. It doesn't happen always, but when people see they can trade their alt coin for $750 worth of Bitcoin instead of $600 they usually sell their alt coin to go into Bitcoin and sell the Bitcoin. During rallies however, people are not so ready to sell so it doesn't cause much downward pressure. I hope I made some sense in this lol Grin
702  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we should fear a cashless world on: June 19, 2016, 12:24:22 AM
You realize using a debit card or whatever is digital just like using Bitcoin? Except they know who's wallet is who's because of the information tied to your bank account. A cashless world will never exist because we could theoretically use Bitcoin as "cash". Only it is digital cash so you need to do the payment wallet to wallet. I see no problem in the future to be honest and cash will always exist because it has to.
703  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: June 19, 2016, 12:19:56 AM
mostly the reason why many people got removed from sig camp because he posted too many spam post or he posted it too much in short a time (he want gets max payment quickly)

Posting too many posts in a short time shouldn't be a problem if it contributes positively to the discussions and have a good quality even with a one line
One line is not good quality and from what we're seeing you will be removed if you decide to spam post only one line or 2 sentences. I look through these people that have been banned from the campaign recently and it's pretty obvious to notice that they are spamming for post count with low quality.
704  Other / Meta / Re: Public list of yobit spammers(this one's gonna be long boys) on: June 18, 2016, 09:20:33 AM
I have identified a spammer in the Yobit campaign and have taken screenshots of the forums as well as their latest activity in posts. User is Cybertron00   u=819781

There is the album of a couple pictures. The sig campaign manager should be notified so they can look into this matter of spammers and clean up the campaign of a very prolific spammer that ruins the campaign for the rest of us.

but what about the rest of his posts across the forum.  we all have conversations sometimes that are short and to the point, i know i have and i still post good stuff the rest of the time.  sometimes you just talk to another person like another person and not like you are being judged for the sins of mankind
That's for the manager to decide. There is proof they are spamming the forum at least 5-6 times within a few minutes with low quality posts. Plus going through recent history they have made more low quality posts than that. Hilarious can decide what they want to do but personally I wouldn't want that person being in a campaign of mine so I alerted them to it. Plus spammers like that take up resources the campaign can use to legitimate people. Simple as that.

706  Other / Off-topic / Re: When is it useful to borrow bitcoin? on: June 18, 2016, 01:29:56 AM
Well if you're experienced with stock trading, borrowing money is done when you think the market will go down. What you do is borrow Bitcoin and then immediately sell it expecting the price to go down. Then you wait however long until you need to pay back your loan and then buy the Bitcoin back. If the price of it dropped, congratulations you just earned yourself some profit by shorting the market. I do not recommend this. It is at your own risk and never default on a loan. This is for informational purposes only.
707  Economy / Speculation / Re: Oldtimers, how does this rally make you feel? on: June 18, 2016, 01:25:43 AM
This rally makes me feel very hopeful for the future or Bitcoin as a currency. Right now it is more of a stock/commodity, which is fine because we can still use it like currency whenever we want to trade it for goods and services seamlessly and with little fees, but I really am excited because the the halving which will make the coin one step closer to being stable.
708  Economy / Services / Re: MINING WITH FREE ELECTRICITY!! on: June 18, 2016, 01:23:27 AM
LOL !! Wants investment.....  First thing he says is he admits to being a thief.....

Well done !!
Lol this is pretty funny and true...also, he will only give you 65% of the money earned Grin which if you look at Hashnest, a reputable cloud miner, they will provide you the hashes and the maintenance fee is only 33%. So not only do you not risk a thief with your miners in a third world country which will probably notice the amount of power that is being consumed by his house after installing miners, you GET PAID MORE than if he hosted them.
709  Other / Meta / Re: What's the deal with people selling goods and services & only offering paypal? on: June 18, 2016, 01:17:57 AM
Well as far as I'm aware they don't NEED to specifically have Bitcoin as a payment method. I don't think there is any forum rule for that. Is it annoying? Yes, because everybody here prefers to use Bitcoin. If anything it hurts their sales more because they aren't using the payment method that we all use to buy here.
710  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS][$1.00] Free Gift Cards Method on: June 18, 2016, 01:12:12 AM
Any update on when the vouch reviews will be available here? I mean it obviously sounds too good to be true and I hope it's not just some "Ask customer service for refund with this copy paste message" type thing. Surely $1 isn't much to risk for an ebook but I'm not in the business of buying random internet rumors lol.
711  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex got hacked!? on: June 18, 2016, 01:09:54 AM
Why do people enjoy writing BS as soon as they have some small problem? Polo HAS NOT been hacked, pls stop spreading FUD, it helps noone and it does not help you either.

Making for some good deals though, Eth down 28% and DAO down 40%. ♫ buy low.... sell high ♫  Cool

For all the rest of you:
https://blog.ethereum.org/2016/06/17/critical-update-re-dao-vulnerability/
And the most delusional bag holder awards goes to.... Seriously how can people still have any faith in this coin and any of it's development going forward? Poloniex was not hacked but because there was a big hack on an unstable coin they halted all wallet activity. $50 million in ETH hacked out of the DAO.
712  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY xpy.io ION ionomy. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: June 18, 2016, 01:06:27 AM
Wow I haven't been following the GAW Army... you all have been busy! lol

Did Josh turn himself in or is he still on the run in some foreign country?
It says in the complaint he resides in Friendswood TX, but I don't believe it.  I think somewhere in Connecticut or Vermont.
Well that's still far better than his little spree in Dubai he had. Probably scammed too many people there and had to leave town just like his little hometown that printed him on the front page of the paper as a scammer lol.
713  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are you comfortable with putting your ID online? on: June 18, 2016, 01:00:18 AM
I've never been comfortable with putting documents like that online. Social security number, license ID, passport ID, it all feels very unsafe when putting it online. Unfortunately in today's world nearly all job applications are online so you just have to go with it basically. LifeLock isn't looking so bad now is it lol.
714  Economy / Gambling / Re: Really Stupid Primedice Strategy on: June 18, 2016, 12:56:57 AM
It's very simple.

Collect from the faucet, bet x25 if you get it do x25 again and withdraw.

Problem is it takes forever. But for those with no life (like me) this might be enough to let say jump start a BTC faucet.
If you start out with 400 satoshi and do a 25x bet and win, you will get 10,000 satoshi. So then you need to take that 10,000 satoshi and win AGAIN or else you have to start off. IF you win, and that's a big if, you will earn 250,000 satoshi which is less than $2 USD. So I don't know how long that will take, but it doesn't seem worth the $2 unless it's pretty quick lol.
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: June 18, 2016, 12:52:22 AM
Yes, gambling is a sin. But better don't think and talk about sin on gambling, gambling is for fun and no need care about the sin, but if you scare about sin and hell, better you not gambling.
So why is it a sin if you don't mind me asking? To me it seems like playing a game and then automatically being marked to be sent to hell is a little extreme, don't you think?
716  Economy / Speculation / Re: hey guys what would be the effect of halving on bitcoin price? on: June 18, 2016, 12:49:42 AM
I think bitcoin price will double to 1400-1600$,since bitcoin is half as rare wouldn't it also become twice more expensive?
Well it's not half as rare. All the coins that existed before the halving still exist and will most likely get traded at least a little bit at such high levels. The halving creates MINER'S daily selling pressure to be cut in half, which means it's more of a trader's market. And last I checked all traders want to sell their coins for a higher price than they bought them Grin
717  Economy / Speculation / Re: So which of these is more likely to occur on: June 18, 2016, 12:48:21 AM
Both.

Mostly buying, a good deal of FOMO buying in fact. Especially by those who saw the last ATH bubble, but didn't have any skin in the game. There will also be selling. People taking profits and looking to buy back in on the dip(s).

So basically, lots of volume both ways. Hopefully, more net in the upwards way.
I mean it's pretty inevitable that it will net upwards even if we have to endure selling pressure all the way until the halving (which is extremely unlikely as current speculation is driving a big rally). The increased volume is creating delays in confirmation because we've already been at the block size limit and so I think that actually helps us in terms of selling pressure needing to wait a couple more hours than usual to get into wallets.
718  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2.5 Years in Bitcoin and still holding. on: June 18, 2016, 12:45:28 AM
I'm holding some but I have also sold some. I'm not sure why it's going up so much. It could be a pump and dump or just panic buying. There's no way to know yet until we see a sell off.
The strength has continued to hold and show that it's not just some pump and dump as people like to claim here. The definition of a pump and dump is to commit fraud by encouraging investors to buy shares in a company in order to inflate the price artificially and sell what you bought cheap. Nothing about this rally is fraudulent, it's simply because the supply of selling coins from miners will be cut in half.
719  Economy / Speculation / Re: So which of these is more likely to occur on: June 18, 2016, 12:42:40 AM
First we will have to make it past $800 which seems to be offering some very unexpected resistance. Earlier it began sell pressure around the $780 mark and then we held at $750 or so for a while and now we're going back down again. Perhaps we need to settle down a little more before the next big push happens and new people getting in will obviously just be buying because they won't have anything to sell. But they might make rookie mistakes and panic sell as it starts dropping to further increase sell pressure.
720  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: June 18, 2016, 12:40:18 AM
Just to let you guys know a big crash is coming in 2016 in the economy. There is going to be a huge financial crisis but it will be worse than 2009.

The bitcoin price will skyrocket to over $10,000. However  bitcoin will be banned in all western countries. If you are reading this living in the west you should make preparations to move to Russia or China they are the only places you will be safe owning bitcoins.

The crisis will be so big it will destroy entire countries and in 2017 there will be a civil war in the USA, UK and western europe. After this the world will never be the same again it will change so much by 2020 it will be unrecognizable compared to today.
Anybody can be a doomsday sayer. You provide not even a single shred of a theory base don any factual events in current times to indicate a complete financial collapse globally. I can say that the economy will boom and everybody will be millionaires in 2020 whether or not you have a job right now. Does that mean it is correct or based on facts?
