701  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin = $1 Million by 2020 on: December 13, 2017, 05:28:03 PM
John McAfee Bullish on Bitcoin Price Reaching $1 Million by 2020.
He wrote in Twitter: "When I predicted Bitcoin at $500,000 by the end of 2020, it used a model that predicted $5,000 at the end of 2017. BTC has accelerated much faster than my model assumptions. I now predict Bircoin at $1 million by the end of 2020. I will still eat my dick if wrong."

Can yo believe this? What are your own predictions?

Hm, that seems to be far fetched. I mean the hike from 1000 USD to 10K USD was all fine and this led to full fledged publicity of the bitcoin and then it got more investor attracted. The later part was the reason for reaching out the 17K rate that we are seeing today. To be honest reaching million dollar rate would be dream for many crypto lover and I respect that because everyone is finding the potential in it. Apart from this we also need to think about the market capitalism, whether we will be able to catch up that much investment or not will also define the ultimate fate of the bitcoin reaching to million price. Anyway, I believe it will reach mid way to million somewhere in the 2020-2025. We also don't know about the changes in regulation or mass adoption of the bitcoin etc. So better go with the flow and keep the investment up.
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you buy your token / altcoin? on: December 12, 2017, 11:53:54 AM
how do you buy your token, ethereum of BTC??

First of all buying is very last process for me as I always try to earn the tokens and coins of interest form he airdrops, bounty programs and signature campaigns etc. I mostly fulfil my need there only because some times I feel that investing into random coins can get my investment into trouble and with the increase in frauds I'm not sure if I will choose the investment by direct use of MasterCard or Visa really.

There is reason, if I want to buy then I will most probably go through indirect ways, for example as you said above, by means of BTC or ETH. That feels great because the anonymity of further transaction is hidden and I can just buy safely without providing my card details. In the crypto world that would be mistake to do.
703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whaat are you doing with your litecoins? on: December 12, 2017, 11:05:31 AM
Hello there,

I wondered what you guys are doing with your litecoins? Are you holding them, gambling or trading? recently bought myself some ltc and wondered if you guys know about investing possibilities sin micro till small area.
Please share your Expieriences if you do so.

Greetings

Various speculators says that LTC is going to be future ETH in terms of its value and stability. So it is better that we hold the LTC today and try to gamble or invest or sell it in the future when it is going to be 1K or more than that. Thats the perfect deal for the LTC and I'm sure about that because the LTC is going ATH very fast these days.

All I have is little concern about the LTC though. Its sudden increase in the rates must not set up reaction of the old investor who might just start selling it right away to grab those huge profits that they might have gotten. Im sure that it into being sold at this movement because it could have set its downward movement very quickly. Rather people are taking good interest in it and trying to buy more. So its better we should start thinking positive about it and invest today.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and LTC which is valuable ? on: December 12, 2017, 10:29:18 AM
Apart from Bitcoins which has proven to be consistent in price appreciation, which of these two coins, ETH and LTC you think is most valuable.

ETH stands more chai of going upwards than the LTC because ETH's max plateau is still not reached. Apart from his LTC seems to be hiked too much with its recent market capitalism. What I think is ETH is getting its upwards movement done very slowly but steadily. And such coins are more liable to higher rates in the future than the LTC which had its upward surge too quickly. This will lead to panic sell very quickly because it creates fear of loosing when something is spiking so fast, they don't have time to think on it and leads to that worst selling stuff. So what ideal investment would be here is ETH according to me. If we have to put money at this very date then we should keep it into ETH. Thats my choice and the above one is the reason for its selection.
705  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices on: December 12, 2017, 09:57:24 AM
With the unstable increase and decrease in bitcoin is it a good idea buying, selling or holding now? Like yesterday I saw it hit $19,000 on coinbase but today it stands at $16,000

Its not about the unstable increase or decrease of bitcoin but its about how hard people are going to hold up this price of the bitcoin by keeping their investment or by adding up more money into it. :-)

The prices are fluctuating is not limited today but it is happening since very long time and I'm sure that what we see today will happen tomorrow also. There is no point in playing low when it comes to bitcoin. If we know 100% that bitcoin is having unidirectional movement dominance over the downward direction then there is no fear of loosing hopes. We should just choose to hold as well as invest more if we have that much potential. :-)
706  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have we hit a plateau ? on: December 12, 2017, 08:45:00 AM
Has BTC hit a plateau ? Just evaluating my options as it seems LTC is picking up steam (literally  Smiley)

I think it has still room to spread a lot and other coins are just following the up trend of the bitcoin. The more BTC will rise this time the more other coins will rise too. You can think about BTC as mother of all (reality) and others are children of it and they are fallowing it in the straight line. So you may wanna choose other coins if you think are in the position to invest money into them and wait for very long time. Apart from hat BTC always holds the first choice of investment but for your investment to rise quickly it will take little more time than others as moving 5-6 figures prices is difficult than moving the 2 digit figure in the up trend. The costlier the coin is the more market cap it has keep up for long term sustaining of it. So think which way fits best for you and then you can proceed.
707  Economy / Economics / Re: what are the effects of bitcoin on the world economy? on: December 11, 2017, 10:02:39 AM
since the bitcoin I see the purchasing power of the community increases, more and more new rich people who appear due to bitcoin, well what I ask is whether its influence on the economy since adany bitcoin until now whose price reaches 1600 $

let's share

It won't affect the world economy unless and until the circulating money is destroyed due to some reason or may be if it never came back into the circulation of national economy. In these events it could really hurt the world economy or more or less to the national economy too.

I have one more thought about this one, national economy is decided on the ultimate fate of taxation. I mean if government is receiving proper taxes then they can use the same money for goodness of people and for the development of national infrastructure etc. This way a nation can stand a chance to have healthy economy. But if in case of bitcoin, it is banned and people within that nation are stilling putting loads of money into bitcoin then that money is unidirectional and it doesn't really come back to national circulation and over the period of time it can disturb it specifically.
708  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: are the majority of the people part time traders? on: December 10, 2017, 01:04:20 PM
I mean of all the people who are trading do majority just do it as a side job for just a little profit or most of the traders dedicated traders who don't have any side jobs?
What type of trader are you?

I think most of the people here or on the crypto market are just making money from the crypto trading as part time job. Most of us have real job with real fiat salary which we are trying to grow into something bigger putting it into online trade positions. That is how it is working really and thus in the future that is to come the condition would be the same and new people will do the same after knowing this market.

In Asia countries like India, China I have seen a different trend where people who are salaried personnel try to invest into stock exchanges and share market along with the job in the want of increasing the wealth they are carrying. Now a days the crypto has opened up new market for such people and I'm sure there more real trader Thant he pseudo traders.
709  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins are dying !!! on: December 10, 2017, 12:14:05 PM
just woke up on this massive dump !

what do you think it's causing this ? and do you think this is the best time to buy ? or it will dump even more   Shocked

Massive dump, will it dump, whats happening with alt coin market and much more, this is just nonsensical to think about the crypto market in that way. I mean how many more times we have seen the market going down like and even more than that we have seen the market coming up with the time. So why ask such question over and over again. I mean I have no problem with that but one should have keen ficus over the market and must know that crypto market is very uncertain about its volatility and any coin can pump and dump at whatever time it is fro them. So what we have to do really is to wait for the right opportunity and invest ourselves with almost negligible loss. :-) There is no way anyone can predict what will happen to alt coin at what time. So just jump in when you think its right time for you.
710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Hot on: December 10, 2017, 11:31:00 AM
http://bithot.org/

what's this? What's up with ppl forking out non stop and ridiculous stuff like this?

i mean, it's around 200+ blocks away and their targetted 12-12-17 fork but they dont have wallet, mining pool or exchange confirmed.

what's wrong with this ppl? Angry

Just checked the website and details for it. Looks like they are going to give away 1:100 ratio of the BTC:BitcoinHot. The prices would be pretty good and best opportunity for those free goodie seeker who are always there to get ready for such free stuff. The give away is similar to other forks and no official date is yet published. The wallet and exchangers are not listed yet but they are claiming that it can be brought to any exchanger once it is official. So I think we don't have to worry about our bitcoin and as per the experience from last dozens of Bitcoin fork this will also be same coin with all the hypes and sucks everywhere. No target and nothing it is juts another bullshit thats all I know.
711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: December 10, 2017, 08:09:19 AM
In one year bitcoin was able to go 10X higher than its original price so I'm sure in 20 years from now bitcoin would be moving around 100K rates definitely. It is enough time plus it will able to get into everyone's mind with no time and thanks to Mr Nakomoto for creating it in decentralised way as that will be the factor which will make it easier to happen.

Also, now I'm sure about the bitcoin and reaching that heights because of one more thing and thats "not much people are into it" really. So there is still huge room for bitcoin to grow big and it will for sure. Just imagine how people started to get into it after knowing the spikes it had recently.

Apart from this if NY stock exchanges are going to list it as commodity in their exchanger then I'm sure this will change the face of bitcoin.
712  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin is a bubble on: December 10, 2017, 05:48:48 AM
The bubble would be when there is no way bitcoin price is hiking. For example, bitcoin prices could have been playing around few dollars and then we could have said that its a bubble really. In addition to this, whenever there is bubble there is one thing for sure, "people won't believe things in such simple way". If they don't believe it then hw can they make so much investment into it and how the prices are rising like crazy this year. I think its reality that we should start accepting (those who don't yet) and should start looking after good investment opportunities really. If we just keep saying that this is bubble and stuff like that then there will be surely no chance people are becoming wealthy through this system.

I added that last part because just to let know everyone what they are missing because of bubble thing. :-)

714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mining fee high on: December 09, 2017, 03:50:29 AM
Hi,

Can someone explain to me why people keep saying bitcoin fees are low? I transferred some bitcoin to my ledger and it cost like $14 and change that seems like the same amount a bank would charge right? So I don't quite understand how their fees or mining fees are low.

There fees are not normal these days but they always have lower fee structure. Im guessing that they have increased the mining fees due to spiked prices of the bitcoin. Otherwise you could just pay cents per transaction to get your transaction confirmed within next 25 blocks!

Also, do check what limit or fees you have yourself set within your wallet settings. Yes, you can set your own fees too, and if you had the transaction fees set to higher per kb data then probably that might have caused you so much fees. To be honest you can still set it very low and then everything can get transferred within few hours. If you are not hurry then you can always choose this option.

717  Economy / Economics / Re: Tax and crypto on: December 03, 2017, 05:48:45 PM
I have not been asked any questions from official yet regarding the taxes for bitcoin or crypto income. This is because I have always paid my taxes and never hidden a thing while filing it. In my country the system for tax paying or tracking is not that advance as like in developed countries. I live in third world where the financial institutes will not ask any more question about the funds deposits and withdraw. They will just clear the transactions as they would do it normally.

But its my duty to complete the taxation for the same on duly basis. The wallet which I use for selling my bitcoin into my local currency uses the KYC verification process which means my transaction is always tracked by the tax department. I always provide the invoices for the sells made at that wallet which comes under the category of digital good and services selling. Thats easy way to do it. But I have the news that everything is going to change here as its not the proper category for bitcoin.
718  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: December 03, 2017, 05:14:02 PM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?

I think thats the best way to dream about it. Its not decent money now, its actual way if getting rich in reality. Look at the prices since you posted this thread. It has surpassed all the expectation now and it is leading towards that very goal of which people used to always think of, the bitcoin worth 50K. Yes, its not bluff anymore but its ray of hope and achievement after few years from now.

If thats the case then we should always focus on the bitcoin investment step by step today and tomorrow and until we think that its enough money for us. In anyway bitcoin is not going down now so we can see our investment in safe hands now. :-)
719  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin on: December 03, 2017, 02:49:56 PM
I am sure everyone is aware about the rise of altcoins like ETH and Litecoin so I just want to know expert's opinion whether to invest in bitcoin or altcoins as the price of bitcoin is too high now for an individual to invest into it ? Do you think these altcoins will survive and pump just like bitcoin or its better to stick to bitcoin ?
Invest  50% in bitcoin and 50% in any altcoins. Though we have price fluctuation, a healthy grow stand still for bitcoin. Coinmarketcap.com confirms that so many altcoins have good growth. Neo, Litecoin,  Bitcoincash, Bitcoincnn, Monero  and etc. Both will certainly earn you a good return. All the best.

Yeah thats the easy way to think about it. When you get stuck with decisions at wrong time then you have to be careful while making the final decisions. In the overwhelming response sometimes we forget to catch up the proper news and this start making mistakes. The % break up of the bitcoin and alt coin has always been set to 50-50% form many of the crypto people. However, I have some different strategy for this. I always think that if the alt coin say for example, Ethereum is having more opportunity then why not just increase out stakes on it and then grab even better profits. There is no need to stick with the bitcoin at all time. In todays date very alt coin surprisingly doing great and I believe many of the isn are potential 1K milestones and hence worth investing into. There could be next bitcoin into them so we still have the chance to trade on alts.
720  Economy / Economics / Re: The 'intrinsic value' discussion on: December 03, 2017, 01:56:47 PM
I think you are not perfect in regards with transferring of the bitcoin. Im dam sure that bitcoin is far greater than transferring the E-mail, etc. It is well thought algorithm which can actually get the value transferred form one point to another and then we can also store the same securely at particular location. :-)

However, let me assume different scenario as well. The transferring of the bitcoin has not been easy now a days. After all the prices being up always the miners are taking too much fees for the miners stuff and it gets difficult to transfer little transactions. Then there is reality where we might need buy small stuff like chocolate worth 1 dollar or something then how would you buy it int he future if bitcoin is being accepted everywhere. I mean thats just smile example. It will also be difficult when you will do mega transaction to buy a house, then? Then fees would be more than price of garden in front of that house!

So may be the transfer is not as easy as we would really think.
