I have just received word from Bittrex that GoldCoin is safe and will NOT be delisted.

In addition, I was told their listing requirements are likely to increase in the future and they expect to see greater adoption moving forward. Bittrex has decided to differentiate itself from other exchanges by maintaining these high standards.

Soon, Bittrex will be introducing a brand new interface featuring uniform animated coin icons site-wide. You can see the new Bittrex GoldCoin icons here: http://labs.allienworks.net/icons/cryptocoins/

We are currently in the process of meeting the various requirements to become listed on Bitsquare.

Bitsquare is a new decentralized trading platform. You can learn more about it here: https://bitsquare.io/

Many of you have expressed concerns about the GLD delisting notice on Bittrex. This occurred because we recently fell below the exchange's new .5 BTC daily volume requirement.

I am happy to report that thanks to the community and team, our volume has safely returned to levels that meet compliance and we anticipate the warning notice to be removed from the Goldcoin trading page on Friday of this week.
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: claymore cryptonote gpu miner memory aloocation failed !! on: December 05, 2016, 09:50:28 PM
my pc is 6 gb of ram
i know that my card is a little old but iam  pretty sure alot of ppl are mining with it
this problem doesn't make wanna invest in mining hardwere
cause i saw some with the same problem having more advanced gpu than me
also without any solution

Does the card manufacturer offer a diagnostic application? Do you have the latest firmware installed? Is there any sort of bios or hardware conflict? Have you checked and rechecked your graphic drivers? Is the hardware displaying properly in the device manager? Is the card outputting video?

this problem doesn't make wanna invest in mining hardware

You might consider investment in ASIC hardware as opposed to GPU.

I'm pleased to announce that the community has received its new Thawte Code Signing Certificate.

Background
We had been receiving occasional reports from new users about their antivirus software being triggered when installing the Windows desktop application.

Solution
To help alleviate this problem, we have registered the core group under the name "GoldCoin Developers Group" and obtained a Thawte code signing certificate. These certificates are difficult to obtain and require a high level of vetting. We were also required to obtain a Professional Opinion Letter from a certified accountant and register with the Secretary of State.

Download
The Windows binary (available here: http://www.gldcoin.com/get-started/) has now been dual-signed with both SHA1 and SHA256 signature algorithms. Although updating your client is not necessary, feel free to download and install the latest signed version.

So, GoldCoin has been busy! I have a bunch from 2014 and thought nothing was happening, boy was I wrong! Nice work everyone, looking good!

Welcome back! We're pretty busy building behind the scenes.

Currently, we're working on a client rebase, a new website for Layer 2 (our for-profit arm), and the formal business organization of the core team.
712  Bitcoin / Electrum / [UNOFFICIAL] How-To-Guide for Using RBF in Electrum Version 2.7.11 on: October 27, 2016, 11:48:56 AM
Opt-in Replace-by-Fee (RBF) allows transactions to be flagged as replaceable until they are confirmed in a block. A guide could be very helpful for people with stuck transactions and using Electrum version 2.7.11 which supports RBF.

Could someone reply to this thread with a step-by-step guide for using RBF? I need to replace the fees of two transactions that are stuck.

All is well now. Thank you!
714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unconfirmed Transactions Problem on: October 26, 2016, 05:07:15 PM
I think there's a lot of exchanges happening because of the rise in the price of Bitcoin. But 50,000 unconfirmed transactions is fairly a lot. Does anyone here know by when will all of these transactions confirm and will it take days to do so? I'm also of the opinion that an attack on the network is in progress to fill the blocks like in the past.

Think of the block size as 1MB ram. Right now we need a memory upgrade -- big time. hehe

715  Bitcoin / Electrum / [Stuck Transaction] Electrum Cries, "Unconfirmed Parent" on: October 26, 2016, 04:18:42 PM
I was using a previous version of Electrum (with pending transactions) when I upgraded to 2.7.11. The pending transaction uses a .12 USD transaction fee and has now been stuck for 16 hours.

This makes no sense to me? Can someone help explain why the transaction is still stuck and what the Electrum message means?

Thanks!  Smiley
716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unconfirmed Transactions Problem on: October 26, 2016, 12:37:58 PM
Why is this a bad thing.  There are unconfirmed transactions all of the time.  The only way to put a stop to this is to add more miners.  With the cost of mining, that may not be an option, but does it really matter?  They will confirm, they just need time.  For the fees we pay to have this done, I see no issue with it.

Yeah, let's get some more miners ... that will fix everything.

Looks like an auction for the UNO lot is on the horizon. If I were a whale I'd try to hold down spot UNO until then... grab a large slice of the auction... then pull the sell orders and pump spot.

I wonder if the UNO will be broken into multiple lots? That might prevent a single whale from controlling such a large percentage.

Team Members Present: Six (Cryptosolar, Amir, Gilead, Dr. G, Alfred, and MicroGuy)
Length of meeting: 1 hour

Please find a brief recap of today's proceedings below:

Facebook Fanpage
Juan Pasos and I are working on a makeover of the Goldcoin Fanpage. The "Shop Now" button has been linked to Trygoldcoin.com and the header image has been updated. In addition, we have started an advertising campaign that will run for 7 days and blanket the St. Louis, Missouri area.

Chinese Project
Alfred is in discussions with a group of Chinese investors looking to build their own specialized blockchain. Part of our new business model is to offer blockchain consulting as a means of funding operations and core development. This is just one of many current Layer 2 projects currently being bid. Essentially, we are building our own community-owned Blockstream.

How To Android Video
This week I created a how-to video for using the new Android application. This 15-minute guide covers the installation and basic operation of the new GoldCoin Android app! This coming week I will be making a guide on how to buy GLD on Bittrex.

The Trygoldcoin.com website has been updated with a new widget that makes it easier for users to login. We have also added Australia and UK to our list of supported countries on a test basis. September sales volume has already shattered the previous monthly record.

Gold Club Launch
The launch of Gold Club International is only 4 days away. We expect the launch to be hugely successful as it has been heavily advertised on radio, television, and print throughout the western African region.
