7041  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which wallet should i send my bounty rewards to? on: March 19, 2018, 03:56:59 PM
Let me handle your numerous questions in segmented perspective, believing it is the easiest way you get to understand them all.

A) If I am using MEW wallet address, how can I access it without using private key for MEW?
You can easily access it with your public key (also known as the wallet address). But you won't have the ability to withdraw or convert your coins using only the public key. You will have to provide other security features like the private keys. Just use the first option on the roll if you want to view with the public key.

B) Can I say that MetaMask is a totally different wallet which is not linked to MEW and I can use that metamask Wallet address to receive bounty rewards?
Metamask is a security feature to strengthen the safety of the MEW.

C) For the Nano Ledger, I see 4-5 address inside it and does it have any link to the current MEW address which I have when i use MEW website to connect to my Nano Ledger?
Skip. No sufficient knowledge on this.

D) Which should I use for my bounty rewards?
In the options you mentioned, MEW should be your pick since it is ERC20 enabled and most bounties as for such wallets.
7042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Country and Cryptos on: March 19, 2018, 03:03:06 PM

In my country all cryptos are still considered Bitcoins, few people however know the difference and make an effort to tell others about alts. The regulations are however not very clear as the government only issue warnings but hasn't taken a firm step to ban crypto.
I guess we are on the same page here - my country and yours. Except that the government of my country rightly isolates them and refers to them collectively as cryptocurrency, not as Bitcoin. I am from the sub-sahara Africa. Government hasn't placed a ban on it yet but has a subtle way of warning the citizens against getting involved in it after the crash of the notorious MMM Ponzi scheme.

However, there are dudes here who make cool cash engaging in genuine crypto activities.
7043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: G20Meeting: "Crypto-assets do not pose risks to global financial stability" on: March 19, 2018, 02:08:59 PM
Do you think the market is responding to this? ETH and BTC both went up recently, even though the article reads more like FUD.
More like FOMO, not FUD if a certain news makes price rise. But the news is genuine and coins are responding positively to it already since morning today. There is a thread here that outlined the perceptions of the attending countries for the ongoing G20 summit here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3158454.msg32665435#msg32665435

Edited for clarification purpose
FOMO means Fear Of Missing Out. As the term suggests, a coin rises sharply in value and investors take steps rushing in to buy so as not to miss the boat.

FUD means Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt. This is usually a negative fear of holding onto a losing coin. So, investors quickly sell off either in gain or loss.
7044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UPDATE! G20 CURRENT REGULATORY STATUS on: March 19, 2018, 11:42:26 AM
Anyone who has been swindled by ICO activities would easily applaud those countries calling for its ban. I have tasted this bitter pill and I know how it feels to be cheated out of one's money.

I strongly believe that this G20 summit is going to end boosting the crypto space as we already can see the market turning green in profit again today with the commencement of the meeting today. It's a plus for all crypto fans and investors.
7045  Other / Meta / Re: Learn to speak proper English if you are going to post on: March 19, 2018, 10:39:35 AM
Hey non native English speakers:

If you are going to post on the English boards at least learn to read and write at a 3rd grade level.   Just stick to your own language if you can't make comprehensible posts.
I can see all these vituperations are for Merit sake. I hope this doesn't rob in badly. But on a serious note, reading posts in broken English is always migraine induced. Nobody needs that kind of a headache just to comprehend a post.

No, these posters won't stick to their local competences because posts in local boards don't usually count in signature campaigns.

i newby want to ask a little medator.apa can in this forum post indonesia.karna many people do not understand english.
Holy Moses! What was that? ..Lol
7046  Economy / Services / Re: Rent account for Bounty without full access on: March 19, 2018, 08:45:45 AM
OPs of threads like this should be simply tagged by DT memebers for bringing up such scummy ideas to ruin this noble forum. There should be sanity here.
7047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Great Decline on: March 18, 2018, 02:29:43 PM
In my opinion, considering three months chart of the Bitcoin it is obvius that resistance line is nearly 6K USD which means it can go down till 6K.
I bet you meant Support Line. Both don't mean the same thing. In case that still confuses you, let me help out with clarification. However, simply put, the upper barrier is called Resistance while the down barrier is technically called the Support. In the case you described, it is a downward movement to meet a barrier and that should be Support.
7048  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Can someone have my private key ? on: March 17, 2018, 05:38:58 PM
I know there is a really low probability but this can happen, am I right ?
Just like the serial numbers on a call card, it is impossible to get corresponding numbers. Private Keys are safe until revealed to another party.

You don't get access to all the private keys of the Bitcoin addresses on a centralized exchange. These exchanges alone have access to your private keys. The possibility of your address been previously used is there but I don't think it's happening.
What is your point?
7049  Other / Meta / Re: Merits for Constructive Opinion on: March 17, 2018, 03:30:23 PM
there are so many users on this forum and any action that shall be handle by people will be a big problem, especially the merit amount is limited
This is a classical example of spam post the Merit system seeks to eradicate. What are you up about there with words, really? May I humbly inform you that apart from your post being a waste of data, it exemplifies a WAY NOT TO MERIT A POST.

Yes, the sMerit is limited but if I remember it correctly, I read somewhere that there might be a somewhat merit reset, where you will be given again the default sMerit base on your rank.
I am not sure it's about a reset. Perhaps you are referring to the select Merited sources (also few too) I shall put up the link to that once I am hooked to it.

Edited: You may check this link. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2825583.0
Though the list is deliberately concealed to avoid posters pestering the merit sources.
7050  Economy / Services / Re: Adult skype shows. on: March 17, 2018, 01:18:34 PM
...send payment for future show.
Yep! That is the ahah clause right there, making payment ahead of time even without a preview.

..Beyond accepting your preferred cryptos: BTC/LTC/BCH/Ether/ETC/OMG/Dash, can I stupidly send you a payment in dollar?

Honestly, I still don't know why none of the mods: malevolent, Cyrus or hilariousandco hasn't deemed it necessary to lock this thread for the trash it is.
7051  Other / Meta / Re: Two suggestions regarding Merit on: March 17, 2018, 12:41:41 PM
1. The process of sending merit seems a bit annoying. You've to go through another web-page and select number of merit to be sent and then send it.
I tend to see the good in letting the click go to another page where the sender's merit stock is displayed. If we want it to remain on same page, will it still display what sMerit the sender has before sending out?

I agree that the max award should be reduced. I suggested a max of 2 per post per member.
Having a limitation of 2 merit per post no matter how good and mellifluous the constructiveness of the post is will take away the reward for in-depth response and analysis. It will contra-work with the aim of the Merit system which is to up constructive posting. We shouldn't be stingy about this thing. It's not like it is sending $$ to a live account. It is just an encouragement mechanism.
7052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coin are scam nowadays on: March 17, 2018, 09:18:27 AM
...just go to their telegram group and ask questions I think this can help you stay away from scam coin..
Oh mine! If you think you can figure out a scamming coin from telegram conversation among members, you are wrong. Vionex had thousands of active subscribers on its telegram yet none was able to decode they were on a scam train until vionex exited its scam and wiped off every trace from its website to even thread here on BTT.

And I keep using coinmarketcap for coins analysis. Because in coinmarketcap store all track records of each coins from year to year.
I hate to tell you that the CMC isn't a reliable place to gauge your technical analyses. It merely gives an overview of the market cap and trading volume. You should get the Tabtrader. It will aid your analytical experience.

So, it's really difficult this day saying which coin will not scam or which will do well in the market no matter how hard one scrutinizes them.
7053  Economy / Lending / Re: Closed on: March 17, 2018, 03:59:43 AM
I have always advocated a system where Newbies are not allowed to brandish any kind of services here, be it run a campaign to offering/getting a loan or selling scripts. Most times it ends in scams, just the above. I hope the mods or Theymos act swiftly on this.
7054  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] ChipMixer Signature Campaign | 0.00075 BTC/post on: March 17, 2018, 03:52:34 AM
When I was new I noticed a lot of the well known reputed posters seemed to be applying for this campaign.
Wouldn't you still consider yourself new with your account being barely 3weeks old here?

Perhaps, you spoke of something else.
7055  Other / Meta / Re: Increase posting cosmetic quality - increase chance of getting more merit on: March 16, 2018, 07:45:12 PM
Yeah, your right. The important thing in getting merit is the content of your post not the appearance of your post.

Correct Me If I'm Wrong

You are absolutely and fundamentally correct! Content, not appearance gets the sceptre.

Edited
What the OP is struggling to achieve already exits here on this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0 and it is well handled. By the way OP, the TV-Two campaign also has bonus in altcoin in addition to its Bitcoin payment.
7056  Other / Meta / Re: The ICO pumpers problem. on: March 16, 2018, 02:23:13 PM
I hope the admins can find a solution also to this problem, like restricting brand new accounts to post on the Ann section or having at 15 activity in order to post there, and make it more difficult for those shitposters.
This will definitely be a panacea for such forum truancy. It is very worrisome to behold such spam and bump outburst on daily basis. Sadly, on a recurring proportion and magnitude.

Most signature campaigns copy paste the existing ones from established managers...
At least we saw this recently with the dude who copied Yahoo's format verbatim. I will put up the link here once I stumble on it.

I cannot agree with you more.
Maybe the posts in off topic should not be counted as activity posts and reduce the shitload of garbage there.
Sigh! Yes, the posts there should not count for activity.
7057  Economy / Services / Re: ***Questions/Answers for MERIT! - (ask questions & merit the best answer)*** on: March 16, 2018, 01:03:37 PM
I sincerely hope this entire forum doesn't purge on Merit this, Merit that.

Observation:
By the way OP, this isn't the right place to start this thread. The Meta section would suffice.
7058  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Questionable wealth because of Crypto on: March 16, 2018, 10:39:14 AM
What if I become rich because of BTC do you think they will believe if I say that its bitcoin that making me rich?
Get rich first before thinking what your defence will be.  Grin

Our Government here will always question people who become rich instantly, sometimes they will relate all the wealth to drugs and smuggling so they can send us to jail for a questionable wealth
Honestly, I have often given this scenario a second thought knowing fully well how massive the gains from cryptocurrency can be if one is right with timely decision of picking a profitable trade or crypto. I shudder at the result. But then we shouldn't deny ourselves such wealth because of what people may say.
7059  Other / Meta / Re: Deleted message on: March 16, 2018, 07:54:18 AM
necrobumped by shitposting newbies
Resurrecting a dead post seems like cooking a decaying rat (pardon my expression if you have a weak stomach.)

We also do not tolerate threads from 2012 being necrobumped by shitposting newbies hence why that post and all the ones before and after it were deleted.
Rather than delete posts pre-2012 or about the time I think it will be more profitable for the forums if those threads are just locked up but not deleted for history and research purposes. For me, I like going back to the caves.
7060  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start Trading for newbie on: March 16, 2018, 04:52:01 AM
You can go to youtube, google or trade information on this forum and learn it by yourself.
Nah! The real traders who make money off trading shy away from the cameras and don't appear on YouTube. What you have got there are charlatans. Don't be deceived.
