what machine do u use so you can tell that UBUNTU is fast!?

Win 7 is fast on my machine, could not see any difference betwet 7 and ubutu

Trust me. Ubuntu is a lot faster. That's why it's used to run gaming servers. Linux is simple doesn't take up much space compared to windows 7 and can make a big difference in machine performance. Maybe, you won't see a difference because the machine you are using is very powerful and runs fast anyway. But, you would still see a little bit of difference.

I have been diagnosed 97% positive for Bitcointalk.org addiction.

The only cure is too smash all items which can connect to the internet.
7103  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best multiplayer game. on: November 16, 2013, 09:47:14 PM
Battlefield is still leading Cheesy. Any BF4 players in here, who can advise me to buy it (or not)?

If you liked bf3 you will most likely enjoy bf4. It's the same type of gameplay with improved features. Including very well designed maps. Without the crashing it would be a amazing game. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.
7104  Other / Off-topic / Re: What video games do you play? on: November 16, 2013, 09:46:17 PM
Gta V is a good game. Now I have had chance to play it. I liked it and it may be in my top 20. I found the campaign way to easy and quick. Didn't challenge me and I can imagine not many others. Although, the online part is fun but can also become very tedious over time.
7105  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Inputs.io | Instant Payments, Offchain API, Secure Wallet, 235k+ BTC transferred on: November 16, 2013, 09:14:15 AM
I still haven't seen where TF has announced that he needs ID, apart from one or maybe two people claiming he asked them.

Can someone please post a link to the source?

He's asking through email when people are asking to withdraw. I don't think there is a post stating this. Although, what people are claiming is correct information. He is asking for identification although no id was linked to the account in the first place. Therefore not proving anything.
7106  Other / Off-topic / Re: music video parodies on: November 16, 2013, 09:11:37 AM
"Barely Political" You have most likely heard of these on youtube. But, if you haven't go check them out they do a wide variety of music parodies. (Other parodies along side too)
7107  Other / Meta / Re: What to do with trolls? on: November 16, 2013, 09:06:41 AM
Most people get labelled trolls because they have said something someone doesn't like. For example, pointing out something to others that there is something wrong with their service. When people don't like it they normally call them out too be trolls.

"gweedo" after seeing many posts in my opinion he doesn't at all troll. But, very outspoken. Therefore, he's been called out to be a troll numerous times.

7109  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GoldenTowns Game Is Accepting and Paying out in Bitcoins on: November 15, 2013, 08:02:02 PM
It's a good concept. But, like I have stated. It because more of a routine rather than a enjoyable game. This takes simple math and upgrading buildings to proceed. It has no skill and is too easy. Managing the energy bar is easy when you reach level 3.
7110  Other / Off-topic / Re: Setting "Bitcoin" as your Xbox Live motto violates the terms of service on: November 15, 2013, 05:17:56 PM
Has anyone contacting Microsoft and got a reply? (I doubt it, normally takes around 2 weeks). I'm trying to think why they would disallow it. It's pretty stupid. I don't think it's to do with copyrighted names etc. As I have seen a lot of company names as gamertags.
7111  Other / Off-topic / Re: Good cheap laptop for cold storage on: November 15, 2013, 05:16:23 PM
Are you going to be using it for anything else? For example, using offline programs on it? If so, some computers do have minimum requirements. Then the next question would be, what's the price range?
7112  Other / Off-topic / Re: MYSTERY SOLVED! Satoshi found after 2 years of investigation! Includes pics! on: November 15, 2013, 04:24:42 PM
You get a sticker. Wear it proudly.

People have been trying to figure this mystery out for awhile. You have now cracked the mystery which took hundreds of investigations by hundreds of people. However, it was as simple as looking on skype. You are a genius. Anyone can name their self it. Doesn't mean they are.
7113  Other / Off-topic / Re: User name change? on: November 15, 2013, 04:22:34 PM
Does it come with more privileges? 10 BTC for a new name is a bit much Tongue

You have have a private sub-forum & have a nice colour coin below the username.

has the donator status gotten lowered yet i think its still at like 10 btc

It's still 10BTC and has been stated many times that it will not be lowering.

7115  Other / Meta / Re: Cannot Watch topics. on: November 15, 2013, 04:16:03 PM
Set up the option to notify you via email. So every time there is a reply it would send it to your email. Although, this means every single future reply will be have a separate email. Could result in a lot of spam if you do post regular.

The watch function hasn't worked for a long time and I think it's been addressed before, but was set as low priority.

What?  I use https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=watchlist all the time, it's working fine.

Strange, Mine was empty a few weeks back & never updated. Maybe it was a error on my behalf.
7116  Other / Meta / Re: Rules on: November 15, 2013, 04:13:44 PM

Exactly what I thought. It's the closest thing to what he have got. Rules are normally explained in detail and have different variables. But, this was thought up within 2 minutes and just posted.
7117  Other / Off-topic / Re: Doing the splits. Going backwards. on: November 15, 2013, 04:09:51 PM
I couldn't imagine the outcome if he actually slipped. It was very impressive. But, they could of done some bloopers and uploaded them to youtube separately from the advert. It would of been a much better way to advertise. I should imagine it would of went viral.
7118  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your favorite car? on: November 15, 2013, 04:07:37 PM
Are trucks considered cars?

No, but I'm going to let it slide because trucks are awesome. Although, I'm not sure what truck is my favourite. Because I love every single truck out there, well pretty much anyway. I would love to be able to drive a truck.
7119  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Quantum Physics Proves That There IS An Afterlife, Claims Scientist on: November 15, 2013, 04:06:41 PM
Afterlife? It's possible. Doesn't mean would know what's going on. We exist of atoms which are proven to exist infinity and can't be destroyed. Therefore, after someone has passed away the atoms are still existing. Don't think of it that afterlife means we would exist in the same way as before.
7120  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GoldenTowns Game Is Accepting and Paying out in Bitcoins on: November 15, 2013, 04:04:33 PM

Think of it as an investment that you check a couple times a day.  Cool

Considering there is a limit to how much gold there can be and how much time I have on my hands. There isn't much money to be made on my behalf. Especially, if you have people that work from home. They can simply take a 5 minute break and do what they got to do in the game. Working a full time job, it's very hard.

Although, it takes a lot of time and effort to reach the ranks to be able to mine for gold. For example, many start mining at level 3 which is a silly idea. Unless, by that time they have all their resource buildings upgraded or they are very good at trading.
