that's actualy a very nice proposal, but Bitcoiners love their Bitcoin, it's not a racional decision. Community would never give the "Bitcoin" up

But we don't need to give up BTC. I don't want to give up bitcoin either.

What I want to give up is "mBTC" and "µBTC".

You sugested to use Satoshis, so there would be no "Bitcoin" anymore

EdIt: Bitcoin would be a multiplier like saying "a million (dollars)"
722  Economy / Economics / Re: Was Bitcoin actually just a Pump and Dump? on: November 04, 2014, 01:05:27 AM
what I don't understand is how it all started. noone would buy something that has no value (the first mined coins). so who bought the first coins? It might have started as a pump and dump, and once this caused a valorization it caused a chain reaction.

725  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Dropping ? How can I Protect The Value Of My Bitcoin. on: November 04, 2014, 12:02:11 AM
one way to protect your coins is with futures
726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People think price it not important but it does matter a lot on: November 03, 2014, 10:47:30 PM
As long as BTC keeps going down relative to fiat, then you need to spend BTC the instant you get it.

you don't have to spend the BTC. you can also "lock" the price (hedging) with futures

Sure, if you want all your BTC to be stolen because you sent it to a private key not under your exclusive control.

actualy, you only need to send 1/10 (in case of okcoin) because of 10x leverage (796 has even 20x). but i get your point.

Could you explain that to my Grandma please ? She is called Jo (Joanna) - and is very average.

Grandma isn't even able to learn to buy BTC....that's the big problem of BTC...and daddy doesn't want to, even if he could learn it, because there is no "oficial protection"

price doesn't matter for the practical future of Bitcoin. we are not talking about an investment instrument here. transaction is rising, so is the usage

731  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] 1Broker.com - Trade forex, indices, stocks and commodities on: November 03, 2014, 02:28:24 PM
When doing CFD or Spreadbetting are you actually trading on the Exchange or just gambling with the stock broker as i don't understand how you could change the leverage considering the currency is fixed at the Forex for the price difference.

:headscratch:  Huh

I don't understand the question completly, but with a CFD the broker usual takes the counterposition.

The next big question is who can you trust? if any..

that's allways the question, which should by the way anybody decide on his own and with the help of google

I made half a million from some big and quite reputable forex companies. Are you prepared for the loss? Are you regulated?

I don't understand the question. I don't have a company. I'm just informing about options.

Oh, my bad. But it's dangerous to run a bucket shop. It's also dangerous to trade in a bucket shop. Being an IB is also not easy.

well, I'm always advising to research brokers before using them in this thread. What is an IB?

It so funny because DEV now holding GML coins for 100000 dollars and mostly working on fiat.
Today from 10000 to 50000 people playing fiat version (according google play)  I don't think that fiat brings DEV more money as he can make developing and improving just GMLcoin.

dev seams to be very busy with fiat version. aren't here any devs which could join the team?

tradersway increased leverage. means you can deposit less and play the same size. obviously you need a proper position sizing to play leverages  this high
