721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to identify shitcoins? on: August 27, 2023, 08:15:42 PM
As an investor, i did a lots of invest in altcoins. Those were suppose to be good that time with having good hype, good team and community. But with having all of thats, most of altcoins scam after a time! I wonder for some altcoins, they were suppose not to be go but they scammed without any reason! And hundreds of altcoins are in my wallet, which are turn into dead shitcoin now.
Investing randomly without time to research and gather information made you invest and lose much of your investment capital in shitcoins. It would have been better if you mentioned the names of some of these altcoins that are in your wallet, but I guess most of these altcoins are meme coins; the meme coins already have massive communities and gain hype quickly from investors who are looking to double their capitals, but these meme coins soon turn into scam tokens. Their teams escape with the investors’ funds. Also, the new currencies that do not have a team, developers, and goals will eventually fail and be delisted from the exchange platforms. If you want to know whether the altcoin you invested in is shitcoin or not, take a look at its team, its communities, its whitepaper, its contract address, liquidity, number of holders, etc., on the exchange platforms in which it was listed, and on the goals that its team implemented over the time frame, and most importantly, recommendations and the opinions of influencers and experts in the field of crypto.
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you feeling the old professional bounty managers? on: August 25, 2023, 09:49:50 PM
Personally they are here but they don't bring bounty now. What do you think could be the main reason for this? There were many higher rank managers who gifted us bounties for good projects in the past but now they are retired. What have they removed from the bounty due to the bad situation in the crypto market?
I think there are reasons for the disappearance of the old professional bounty managers. They may not have found good offers and projects, or they may have lost hope after managing many scam bounties, or they may have changed their activities to other businesses, and perhaps the most famous and trusted managers now have the lion's share of receiving good offers for managing Bounty campaigns and BTC campaigns; also the situation of the bear market and declining currency prices as a whole are an obstacle for project officials in concluding marketing deals in the forum.

The good thing is that there are still professional and active Bounty managers in the Bounties (Altcoins) and service boards, and they have many good campaigns that have escrowed allocations.
723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you go about realizing gains? If you opt not to, what is your reason? on: August 25, 2023, 08:37:00 PM
Buy at a low price, sell at a high price, that's the main goal of investing in Bitcoin. When you are in the bear market phase, that's when you need to load up as much goods as you can to keep the opportunity after the market turns.
The biggest obstacle may be when the price experiences a correction after getting a number of Bitcoins, it takes patience to deal with this situation until the market returns to the Bull market phase. Determine your plan when the price is at the target number, you can come back after the price is corrected to get Bitcoin at a low price.
Developing a specific plan, strategy, and goals for buying and selling are essential in investing in Bitcoin. If the BTC is down and reaches the specified target, it is possible to Buy/Invest, but not with total capital, but at different stages and bottoms. Also, after reaching the price and target of selling and achieving good profits, it is possible to sell and recover the capital that was invested or a large part of it and recover a portion of the profits and keep it in stable currencies so that if a correction occurs or the price drops, you can buy again at a low price and the loss will not be in the capital but in the profits that have been gained. Choosing the entry/correct times requires experience and skill in technical and fundamental analysis, as well as the factor of waiting patiently and controlling emotions and greed, which enables a person to secure his profits and maintain his position within the market.
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid Airdrop Scam on Trust Wallet via Links on: August 25, 2023, 12:03:59 AM
Beginners beware of Airdrops that will redirect you to their website through the provided link around the shiny coins you see on your wallet, where you will be required to fill in informations in other to claim the reward, follow the instructions as provided above and avoid their website as it leads to scam if any information is provided.
The Trust Wallet team may be late in publishing this warning to their community. I have had NFTs for years, and I did not mint them and found them in my wallet without my intervention, The suspicious thing that made me stay away from them is that one of these NFTs can give me thousands of dollars by staking it on the scam site that appears in this NFT information on Opensea and for sure anyone who opens a scam site and deposits a certain amount of altcoins or stablecoins to get the stake rewards, will lose his funds and may lose all the available NFTs on his wallet, these NFTs are like scam pump and dump tokens that we find in our wallets and lose our money when we exchange or send it, or after purchasing more quantities of it, so any NFT or token that you found dormant in our wallet that we do not know its source, I recommend that ignore them completely without doing anything.
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins profits or bank profits, which best? on: August 24, 2023, 12:02:31 AM
Bank investors have more certainty because there capital is completely safe but they give 8-10% annual profits to the investors of per year. But it is comparatively less in terms of profits.

On the other hand you will get constant profits from crypto as if you are experienced in trading then daily profits is possible. Otherwise you can get profits by investing. However crypto investment puts your capital at greater risk (main point).
Yes, investing in altcoins is risky because its market is highly volatile and affected by events and news, but its profits are better than the very meager profits of banks. Prominent businessmen, influencers, companies, etc., have invested in altcoins, and there are millions of investors interested in investing in altcoins around the world because they believe that it is an undisputed profitable investment despite its sharp fluctuations. Experiences, skills, and patience may reduce the severity of risks and make the investor avoid any heavy losses. And even banks have risks as well. Banks can go bankrupt due to the economic and regulatory conditions in the country, and they can impose sterile conditions and fees that make it difficult for customers to access money. For me, I can use banks to keep some of my money safe, but banks to be a source to make profits is not a feasible idea.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top altcoin that you won't buy anymore on: August 23, 2023, 11:12:35 PM
What is the name of that Top altcoin that you won't buy anymore?? Example: i Won't buy TRON(trx) anymore cause it makes me disappointed several time with its stable price since 2017
It is good that there are a lot of top altcoins in the market, so every investor has ample options, and everyone has his point of view and valid reasons for choosing an altcoin over another; each altcoin has its advantages, disadvantages, and cases of use, and each altcoin has behind it a team that distinguishes it from others. I was interested in investing in Ethereum earlier, but now I do not want to buy it because of the high price of its fees, and its network is always crowded. The second token is BNB. I invested it before the SEC attack on Binance and before the BNB chain was hacked and more than $600 million in BNB was stolen, and as a result, the price of BNB went down by a massive dump. I am waiting for the right time to recover my loss, and I will never rebuy BNB or any of the CEX exchange platforms tokens.
727  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Google Sheets Extension - Scammed | Last Update! on: August 23, 2023, 12:06:24 AM
Today I decided to do a long-needed cleanup on the computer after more than half a year of being inactive. I started with a malware scan from Malwarebytes, and to my surprise, it still detected the fake extension! However, the extension was found on Microsoft Edge, something that completely slipped undetected because I generally use Chrome and never spotted it on Edge.
Thank you all for updating the topic, and the fake extension of browsers is dangerous, and the hacker can access the important data saved in the browser and steal it; frankly, I found a safe solution for you is to make a new copy of Windows or Linux and remove your current version of Windows completely, because your computer may also be infected. Although antivirus software may be effective, it may not be able to detect all encrypted malwares.

Really, 111 malwares are very scary. Shocked

I still haven't found any clues on how this extension got installed, nor can I suspect any torrents that I have used in the past. Thus, keep your software and Windows updated at all times, as security breaches are becoming more and more dangerous.
Torrent files are risky, illegal, and contain malwares. I do not advise you, after making a new Windows for your computer, to use the torrent files that you downloaded before and stored on your computer. I think it is the main reason for installing this fake extension on your computer without your knowledge.

Yes, updating the system continuously is important, also downloading programs from their official websites only.

729  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Scammers create Pishing site to claim SEI Airdrop 🚨 on: August 21, 2023, 11:23:17 PM

It is good that Sunil Agarwal's account has been restricted. This phishing domain, which is seven days old, also has been down, and this is the result of reports and complaints submitted by positive people to protect as many newbies as possible who still do not know the difference between a phishing domain and a legitimate one. Indeed, there was an airdrop for the SEI project. Of course, scammers took the opportunity to disinform SEI communities, mislead and deceive them, especially Twitter, through accounts impersonating the SEI name, and by DMing people who ask for help on how to claim airdrop coins, they send them malicious links and phishing domains, They also publish tweets continuously and mention many Twitter user accounts to trap them.

Unfortunately, Twitter is now free of censorship and is full of bots, spam, and chaos.
730  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Ponzi scheme of Toark App | Forum users by spreading it here | be careful on: August 21, 2023, 10:34:36 PM
Such projects and plans are obvious scam that only greed and newbies that falls into these trips. Scam ponzi scam were so popular back in day when Bitcoin gained a good value. I remember the HYIP website that promise you to get paid after depositing a specific amount of monry then you win a percentage daily without doing absolutely nothing. The sad thing that we still see such scams running nowadays.
This App Token you shared is very obvious with poor quality even to convince some people.
Yes, you are right; this is also a kind of pyramid scheme that plays on the temptation of greedy people to deceive them of obtaining good sums of money after they make a deposit and after they make a certain number of referrals from the Invitation Program and after they made fake trades there and achieved large sums of crypto, The scammers' admins of the Toark platform manipulate the system to make many customers lose all their funds, or freeze their accounts for unknown and mentioned reasons, and stop the withdrawal. The winning people are chosen unfairly (they could be from the platform team) They help their pyramid and Ponzi scheme to grow. Unfortunately, many of the people who lose their money in these obvious schemes are beginners who have no previous experience and knowledge of this most common thing.

732  Economy / Scam Accusations / Fake GitHub link to the PascalCoin project on: August 19, 2023, 07:26:48 PM
What happened:: I just discovered a thread that was posted in the Bounties section of this forum; the OP posted a fake Github link to a pescalcoin wallet to download on the computer and invited the hunters in his thread to download and test the wallet on the computer in exchange for being paid 1000 PASCS or 500 USDT ERC20/TRC20.

First, The amount of payment per person is unbelievable, and this scammer allocated 50,000 for his "PROOF OF TEST" topic, which is, of course, a ploy to lure anyone.

Second, His account on the forum is Newbie and was created today at 03:24:47 PM.

Third, His Github account was created 3 hours ago, and he uploaded PascalsChain.zip 1 hour ago, well he posted a fake Github link; the official website is Pascalcoin.org, and the original GitHub link is >>#, Even all the sizes of the original wallets did not reach 66.5 MB as the size of this scammer's wallet.

Additional Notes: I believe that the wallet published by this scammer contains malicious codes. Still, it was not detected by the antivirus programs, so do not download any wallets from questionable sources except its official sites. Do not be deceived that it is a clean wallet program and has not been detected by the antivirus. Also, do not participate in any "Proof Of Test" topics like this from new members, and don't download the wallet to test it on your primary PC/Phone in order to get the big payment because you will not receive it in the end, and your device will be hacked, be careful.

734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop Events, Testnet Events is not an investment! on: August 18, 2023, 12:20:31 AM
Quote
What Happened?
Several enthusiast joined the sei wave and participated in different testnet tasks and some ambassadorial roles to support the sei network and also provide valuable feedbacks to the team in hope of being rewarded; but when sei launched and shared rewards; majority got as low as 1$ up to 100$ while so many others received 0 which has lead to an uproared between enthusiasts and sei team.
I am one of the early participants in the Sei tesnet network. I have done many previous transactions on their network, testing and experimenting with many different applications and projects on Sei Ecosystems, joining their telegram and discord, getting many roles, and constantly interacting with their posts on social media and the events they promote, and finally, after a long wait, After I connected my wallet to claim the airdrop, it appeared that my wallet address and Discord account were not eligible to receive the Sei airdrop. Unfortunately, I am disappointed, and there may be many like me in the same situation.

  • The rewards from an airdrop event in most cases are speculative (there's no guarantee if it will be worth 1$ or 1000$ or worth 0)
..ect
I agree with you on all of these points that you mentioned. For example, the Sui project did not do an airdrop for the early participants in their testnet network, as they listed their currency in Binance Launchpool only. So yes, there are no guarantees that the airdrop hunters in the testnet network can get an airdrop in the end, It is a matter of luck, and there is no guarantee that the value of the airdrop coins will be of great value or not worth anything in the end.

Projects owners this year have become very greedy  Sad
735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This time for meme coin? on: August 17, 2023, 11:06:30 PM
I have not seen any pumping of DOGE and SHIB this year. On the contrary, these meme coins are showing complete stagnation and loss of interest among investors. I can understand why this is happening. These coins have already made a significant amount of profit and it's hard to pump them by hundreds of percent, it's easier to launch new meme coins and extract tens of thousands of percent on the hype. Hence the conclusion that it is not worth investing in old meme coins, they have already fulfilled their function.
Even the impact of Elon Musk, after changing the Twitter logo to the Dogecoin logo, did not receive increasing interest from investors and did not affect Dogecoin except for a slight impact on the unexpected, so I completely agree with you that the new meme coins that were not pumped before are a more attractive opportunity than the old meme coins, which tended to stagnate after the hype went away and after the whales’ liquidity was withdrawn from them to other currencies after they achieved multiples of investment returns. Still, we must not forget that the new meme coins are riskier than the old ones, as the old currencies are listed on the famous CEX platforms and have a large trading volume; this makes them safer than new currencies that are not listed, and rug pulls tokens, which, after investing in them, the investors may lose all their funds.
736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi network KYC on: August 16, 2023, 10:05:10 PM
I have a brother that has been using his mobile phone to mine Pi network some years ago before the coin become tradable, but left it and thought the coin is worthless. He asked me about the coin many months ago and I told him that the coin is worthless. Recently I saw the price on Huobi global and it was around $25. I told my brother about it and we are about to do KYC and send the PI coin to mainnet wallet, but on Pi browser, I got this error:
What I saw is that people can buy and sell PI network P2P through groups on social media sites and communication applications at low prices. The original PI network currency price has not been determined, and it has not been listed on exchange platforms yet. It has been in the enclosed network since March 2019 until now, and there is no roadmap. This project, in my opinion, is just a joke, and even their mining is not considered real mining. It gained its fame from the promotional and marketing hype, but working on this project was a waste of time. Regarding your KYC issue, the PI team has mentioned, as far as I remember, that newly created accounts must complete 30 completed mining sessions to submit KYC verification; the priority is for those who have worked on the PI application for years and have a large mining balance. I do not advise you to submit your documents because you do not know what they do with these documents and the reason for their delay for years, and nothing has been done for the Pi currency.

738  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Whirlwind.money - withdrawals are not being processed ⚠️ on: August 15, 2023, 11:19:00 PM
It hurts to get your funds stock somewhere because of the inconvenience it might have caused you as a result of not getting the money when needed. But there is nothing that could really be done right now rather than just waiting for a positive response from them, as they assured Hhampu to get things working again in the next few hours, which is near. I will just have to advise you to be patient and wait a little longer if withdrawal is not processed. At least the team should be able to come in and clear the air with a detailed explanation of the matter at hand if it's something different from just being far from the authorization access.
Unfortunately, there is a sad piece of news I have read that the whirlwind team has not come to post an update yet regarding the things that happened last week on their site, so veteran bounty manager Hhampuz will not continue to promote this signature campaign and will be put it on hold indefinitely. The payments have already been sent for round 20 to Participants to their notes, and the signature campaign participants can now remove signatures and avatars.

Round 20 Payments have been sent to your Notes!

Thank you all for yet another great week. Unfortunately I'm putting this campaign on hold indefinitely. I was hoping whirlwind would have come here and posted an update by now but we discussed the campaign among other things last night and right now it's looking like we will not continue with this campaign. It's been nearly 5 months and while I would have hoped things to turn out in a different way it is what it is. It's been an absolute pleasure to work with a lot of you, some for the first time, and hopefully we can do so again in the future.

I'm patiently waiting for whirlwind to come back to the forum with their update and comments regarding the "frozen" state of the site over this past week.

You can now remove your Signatures and Avatars and apply to other campaigns.

I do not know frankly what circumstances the whirlwind team is going through, which prevented them from returning to write an update to reassure the community and respond to their emails. I hope that the withdrawal will open and process mining reward payments and that the Whirlwind mixer clients complete their transactions smoothly, and that the signature campaign will return ASAP so that the community’s concern does not increase and does not get a wrong impression about this Whirlwind Mixer.
739  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Someone Sharing Fake Ripple Airdrop In This Forum on: August 15, 2023, 10:24:19 PM
It has been more than one week since I posted in this thread therefore it is sad to see that the website is still operating. There has to be a responsibility on the shoulders of the domain registrar and web hosting company if they have been advised about the scam.

At the moment it seems that the RippleAirDrop account was been banned on 8th August 2023 at but the RippleAirDrops account that was also created on 8th August 2023 is yet to make a post and is therefore yet to be banned.
I filed an abuse complaint about the Nftcryptoc[.]com domain on Namecheap to notify them about this phishing domain and provide all the information. To be honest, Namecheap is a domain registrar company that deals strictly with abuses done by scammers who register domains to deceive and steal beginners.

The Legal & Abuse Department team has previously reviewed the complaints and reports that I submitted, and they have already taken down many phishing domains, so we must not stop submitting complaints and reports even if the scammer comes with a new account on the forum or a new domain.
740  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: PayPal [PYUSD] Phishing Site - Never connect with your wallet! on: August 14, 2023, 09:28:58 PM
Paypal launched PYUSD but never by giving any claim! or any kind of prize and giveaway.

Please quote to show pictures

https://whois.domaintools.com/usdpy.us
New phishing site created two days ago
I quoted the picture; thank you for the warning.

I knew that they would do this about Paypal, as usual, for the scammer to exploit any event to deceive people and publish phishing sites that contain the button to connect the wallet. If we look at the information of the domain registrant through the Domainiq website, we will find his name is Elon Musk, and the information is all false.

[1] It is worth noting that he has dozens of phishing domains, unlike the one you OP posted about.

Source: https://www.domainiq.com/domain?usdpy.us#/domains

[2] This means that this scammer has a lot of domains that enable him, after one of them breaks down, to continue deceiving people through the other domains, so everyone should be careful and that there is no airdrop for the PYUSD currency. Do not open any links on social media or in Google ads.
