721  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1XBIT SCAMMED for 30.69mBTC on: June 19, 2023, 06:42:42 PM
UPDATE while writing this: It seems that I can log into my account again, they refunded all my bets and I have only deposit amount of my account.
So basically they stole 28.69mBTC, everything I made over this day they decided to not pay me out, I bet on 7 events at all and every bet got refunded, I did not use any software or I did not abuse any bug with odds, most of bets were live-bets based on what I saw watching cs:go matches.
It's good that they didn't take all of your deposits either; you made a mistake, man, in choosing this fraudulent 1Xbit platform; you can try to withdraw the remaining mBTC of your account immediately because I'm sure that the 1Xbit platform owners, after seeing your topic, can close your account again. This scam casino platform has had a bad reputation for years, and it has a red flag, I don't know why it hasn't stopped until today. And why is it attractive to players despite the spread of so many accusations of scam around it? There are many famous and reputable casino platforms here, so before depositing your funds on any casino platform, you should do your research and watch the ratings and reviews of the players about it, so as not to lose your money and waste your time in vain.

725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to accept crypto payments? on: June 14, 2023, 11:29:37 PM
I am wondering what are the ways to accept crypto payments in an online business. Should I share my wallet address and ask clients to send payments to it? Isn't it troublesome? Payments could be sent to the wrong wallet address and also it would be difficult to manage the transaction history. What should I do?
If your business is small, you can directly send customers the address of your wallet or your barcode in order to transfer the required amount to it, and you can from any explorer know information about the transaction and its history, then the matter is not complicated, but if your business is large or medium and you have thousands of customers, then I I strongly support what most of the members mentioned here that you deal through a good and reliable payment gateway or payment processor that has a wide reputation and positive reviews. Yes, they will cut some fees, so it is vital to choose a platform that suits your budget, but this will make it easier for you to receive a lot of financial transactions from your customers in less and anytime, anywhere, at the lowest cost of fees, with excellent security, with full transparency, and protection from price volatility for cryptocurrencies during payment, so you have to do your own research to choose the appropriate payment gateway for you and identify the defects and characteristics of each of them to choose the best that suits your needs, and among the best payment gateways are BitPay and CoinGate BitPay, OxaPay, and Shopify.
726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend interested in investing in BTC but the friend's father does not agree on: June 14, 2023, 10:38:33 PM
But when the friend's father found out about this, he forbade him to invest in bitcoins and later predicted that he would be banned by the government and that he would have problems with his job. Yes but it is true that there is a possibility of loss if the government staff comes to know about this investment during government office.

But my friend is not listening and instead he will invest on Bitcoin. I don't know what kind of suggestion I should make to my friend in such a situation. Should I ask my friend to invest in Bitcoin? Or ask to pay more attention to his job?
I cannot blame the father of this friend because what I see from his words is that he is ignorant of everything about Bitcoin despite his noticeable fear for the money of his son, who wants to invest in Bitcoin. First, what he said about investing in Bitcoin, the government will ban it, and he will face problems in his job; this is wrong because there are many ways to make a person completely anonymous in this arena, and it is complicated to reveal his identity, as thousands of people invest in bitcoin in countries that prohibit bitcoin and crypto in their laws, and things are going well. Because if a person does not deal with CEX platforms and did not provide his documents and sensitive information to anyone or any centralized platform, how will they recognize him, since the blockchain technology also maintains privacy? Do not force him to invest in Bitcoin, but advise him to gain experience and get acquainted with all aspects of this investment first because it is fraught with risks if the person is a beginner and his experience is limited, and he must be discreet and not declare that he will invest in Bitcoin to anyone, no matter who is him.
727  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam targeting Metamask wallet user's on: June 13, 2023, 10:38:09 PM
I just got a message from some scammer claiming to be Metamask with the statement that my Metamask wallet needs an upgrade.
Unfortunately, Metamask is not the only wallet that scammers send such messages to its users to upgrade their wallets. I previously found the same message, but for the application of the Trust wallet, Binance, and MEXC platforms, and they put a malicious link containing a fake application in order to be downloaded by the recipients of the messages and users of the platforms, so the first step is to know what the message was real or fake is to look at the official email of the sender, the domain link that these scammers sent, and the tweets and announcements of the wallet or the exchange platform on their official websites or social media. And I advise you to use a "Custom email" for the public and a custom email for your financial accounts; also, do not open any links in the message sent to you and do not download any application from the mail or any PDF, and finally make your trust zero in incoming mail messages so that you do not regret!
728  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [warning] Fake Private-note -- pirvnota.com on: June 13, 2023, 09:30:16 PM
Its called Pirvnota
Code:
 https://pirvnota.com
and It should be used with maximum caution since It seems they "read" the notes and change the btc address inside (putting their own address) [source telegram chat scarce.city ].
I used the pirvnota site and wrote a note containing my BTC address, and pressed Create Note, and after that, I got a link containing my note, and after I opened the noted link and showed it, the surprise was that they changed my BTC address to theirs as in the following image:

Thank you for posting this warning, and indeed pirvnota is a fake site that has the same interface as the original Privnote.com site and manipulates users' notes, and these scammers certainly see them before any user sends them, so I honestly do not see the benefit of using these sites that provide anonymous notes, because I am sure that this is a lie and that the users' notes will be exposed to the site administrators.
729  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Plagiarized Whitepaper - MetaSystem Token on: June 13, 2023, 08:36:18 PM
They most likely hired the BM and not the well known campaign and/or bounty managers for this very reason, because they know the BM wouldn't care to do a research before accepting the job.
Great catch holydarkness; well done
This bounty manager doesn't want to learn from his mistakes, I don't know where he gets these projects from, maybe he finds them through the dark web and contacts them in order for them to hire him to post their nonsense here.

I'm slow as a turtle Grin @FatFork beat me to post the proof about their fake team, well done you too man.

Now a plagiarized Whitepaper and fake team, the result is that it's a scam project of the first degree, I hope bounty hunters stop promoting it.
730  Local / النقاشات / Re: مشروع layerzero و ال Airdrop المرتقب on: June 12, 2023, 10:55:24 PM

Miro

733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important is it to keep your bitcoin investments secret from others ? on: June 09, 2023, 12:09:35 AM
The first thing that came to my mind after reading this was that one should not talk about his crypto investments with strangers or friends as it can pose various risks. If you are active on forums like bitcointalk and involved in trades, you should not give information which can help others relate to your identity.
To make your investment information in Bitcoin, your capital, your wallet's addresses .. etc. and all of these are secret, will help preserve your privacy and make you not be tracked or targeted by a scammer or hacker, and so on, to be anonymous in the field of cryptocurrencies and to keep your investments confidential and not to publicly publish information related to your trading profits or information about you or with the platforms and wallets that you use, it is among the good things that preserve your privacy and your security in this arena crowded with evil souls. Blockchain technology is basically created for this matter to preserve privacy and preserve your identity if you are a Bitcoin holder, so it is wrong to do the opposite of this precious feature, and blind trust is also what makes you talk and confess to people you know or do not know about your private investment matters. This trust, if you do not get rid of it, will turn against you.
734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please recommend a reliable Bounty Hunter... on: June 08, 2023, 11:16:49 PM
Firedao.co is ours.
Please have a look.
I think you mean bounty managers and not bounty hunters. Bounty hunters are the publishers and workers promoting the project. There are thousands of promoters here who are diligent and do their best to work. As for the bounty manager, the list goes on. There are really reliable and experienced people here who strive for the project to achieve its promotional goals with honesty and professionalism, but your project must be strong, legitimate, and distinctive and provide something useful for the crypto community in order for them to accept your offer because they do not accept weak, Ponzi and scam projects and the like. Their reputation in the forum obliges them to always be careful in promoting projects that only deserve this. I will recommend to you some of the managers who I dealt with them, and they are the most famous here, and they have their own ANN topics that contain portfolios of the projects they managed previously (irfan_pak10 - Hhampuz - julerz12   - yahoo62278 - Royse777 - icopress - sujonali1819).
735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which campaign is better? Bounty campaign or Signature campaign? on: June 08, 2023, 12:17:29 AM
Which of these two campaigns do you think will work like magic for FireDAO within the Bitcointalk community and beyond? We trust your expertise, and we want our marketing efforts to align with your preferences and expectations.
Bounty campaigns are campaigns to promote the project on social media (Twitter, FB, Reddit, Linkedin, ..etc.) by bounty hunters, and there are many other different campaigns such as translation, content creation, Youtube Videos, and so on, and bounty hunters are paid at the end of the project’s tokens. As for signature campaigns, they are promoting the project in the forum by seasoned members here, according to rules that the signature campaign manager sets, and he must be a trusted and professional manager with a good reputation, and his account must contain positive trusts, and the participants in the signature campaign are paid in Bitcoin or any top currencies in the market, and my advice to you is if you are not ready to deal with the escrow service, as they reserve the bounty or the signature campaign tokens that will distribute at the end to the participants, do not think about launching them, and if your project is not 100% complete in development and complete in all aspects so take care of developing it first and finishing everything, before you think about promoting it through trusted bounty managers because you will usually find it difficult for them to accept your offer.
736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Deciding to save money in Bitcoins for the future of the child on: June 07, 2023, 10:29:19 PM
I am a Bangladeshi citizen currently my country is suffering from severe dollar crisis. Such incidents have happened in our country before. Due to the dollar crisis, several banks went bankrupt at that time and those who had deposited money in those banks lost it completely. Currently, the top media of our country is once again broadcasting various news about the dollar crisis. And they think inflation like inflation may happen in Bangladesh very soon. If things like inflation happen then there is a possibility that many banks of our country will go bankrupt again. I have created a savings account for my children's future and I have already deposited some amount in it but I am in doubt about my money because if my money is lost due to bank failure then I can financially support my children in future. I can't give  So I have planned to withdraw the amount of money deposited in the bank and convert it to bitcoin and store it through bitcoin. I hope that as a parent of the child, I have made a good decision for them by thinking about their future.
It is the best decision you will make in your life because Bitcoin is the undisputed safe currency in the market, so be completely reassured that this currency will secure your money and secure the future of your children, but do not forget that the crypto market is volatile, so if you want to put your money in Bitcoin, you have to ignore the FUD and you have to be patient enough, because patience is your effective method in this market, and you have to gain enough experience. These central banks in your country are not a good place to save your money because, as you mentioned, they may go bankrupt one day. Bitcoin also has risks, but in my opinion, it is better than central banks and safer because any central authorities do not control it. If you invest part of your money in it and hold it in the long term, you are undoubtedly, In the end, will get your money back and make good profits that are sufficient for your living life.
737  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: A Non-Custodial wallet, Atomic Wallet, being compromised on: June 06, 2023, 11:42:28 PM
And another update: According to ZachXBT[1], it seems that the entity responsible for the hack was the Lazarus Group[2]/DPRK (considering the patterns of how the crypto was laundered). It seems that North Korea is having (another) field day with this hack...

[1]https://nitter.it/zachxbt/status/1666115739764285445
[2]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lazarus_Group
Fortunately, a large group, including me, was not affected by what happened to the Atmoic Wallet, as I immediately transferred my funds to another wallet after I found many reports of stolen funds by many users in the tweets of the official account of the Atmoic Wallet, I feel sad because I saw a lot of they lost thousands of dollars due to the Lazarus Group, who are responsible for these hacks.

Do you guys agree with what @tayvano_ mentioned on her Twitter account about some of the possibilities of the root causes of this Atomic Wallet hack:

Quote
The application that Atomic Wallet built was not built in a secure manner.

Either someone pushed a malicious version of the application that stole users' keys.

Or they were inadvertently logging users' keys to their servers and those servers were accessed by a malicious actor.
Source: https://twitter.com/tayvano_/status/1665519797470367744

BTW, I hope that the exchanges will support this case and freeze the stolen funds of these criminal gangs and that the Atomic team will be able to compensate the losses of the affected users.

Atomic Wallet on: June 04, 2023, 07:34:57 AM
