Who was able to bet on the Blackwater Bossing against Converge? I checked the odds before the game, and they were very attractive for the Bossing. I was actually considering placing a bet, but I got busy and ended up forgetting about the upcoming game. It's frustrating; it could have been easy money.  The score was 97-102 Was not able to bet also for this game but i could have lose if i do because i would go for Converge. The thing that i noticed on this PBA-on-tour was that the ratio of the underdogs winning the game was higher so if one was betting on the underdog the whole tournament would end up getting huge profit i think. On the contrary, Ginebra won on the second game against Phoenix where the Gin Kings was the slight favorite. Meanwhile, Junemar Fajardo was declared healthy once again and fit to play on the FIBA World Cup'23 which will happen in the coming months. I think the timing is good since their is a high chance that Kai Sotto will miss this tournament because of personal dealing with the Dallas Mavericks.  |

Same here, have seen people who win big amounts in gambling that i thought would be life-changing and yet see them gamble again and lose all that money, and go back to zero. I think that's the instinct of a gambler or let me say "once a gambler, always a gambler" and the only thing that will keep us from gambling is the state of our over-all physical health. Personally, i have a target amount in my mind that once i accumulate it, i would seriously consider to stop gambling or stay with gambling but fun only, i know this is easier said than done but once i have that money, truly i would keep that promise  . |

I want to follow you with your statement regarding to those PBA players who decided to sign with MPBL, I know it's not about the salary but more on the exposure and for them to enhance their skills, with PBA they will have a limited time but with MPBL they can be one of the star of the team.
We can't remove the fact that there are many pinoy talents and good thing that MPBL are adopting those rising stars and giving them exposures.
I couldn't agree more with you mate  . Raw talent that needs development will just be stagnant in the PBA if you don't have good connections with the coaching staff, i mean those players who are not sons or families of some coaching staff will just be bench warmer or practice player if their talent is just regular. I've read an article that stated that a certain player refuses the offer of a certain PBA team to join MPBL, that sounds insulting to the PBA itself but maybe that guy have a good reason why he opt out of the PBA, just like you said, maybe playing time or exposure so that may scouts from a foreign team could see his talent and bring him overseas where the money is good. |

The closest that we can see the odds in my opinion is Tapales, another good Filipino boxer. So the plan is as we have heard is that the winner of this fight, vs Marlon Tapales next for unification.
So if that happens then we can compare at least what will be the odds for Casimero. As if we are just changing the name of Tapales here. So before we talk about Casimero vs Inoue or Fulton, we will see first Tapales vs Inoue or Fulton and I think it will be a great fight although going to be very hard for the Filipino as he needed all the tools to beat either boxer.
You are right there mate, WBA has given the clearance to Tapales to fight whoever wins on the Inoue vs Fulton fight, they have not ordered Tapales to defend his belt via mandatory defense so this action is good for the Filipino pug. But for me, Casimero has the higher chance of defeating either Inoue or Fulton but he has to do his thing first (win every fight) before calling out whoever will be the unified champion in this division. For his part, Tapales is already a big winner by just fighting for the unified belt as i think this could be the biggest purse that he will receive in his boxing career, that's for sure. |

Yeah, it's very uncanny for Lopez to just throw in the towel and declare his retirement. He is a very competitive fighter, so competitive that he sometime blurted words that out of line, like in this fight, wherein he says that he will take Josh Taylor life in the ring.
And then when he completely dominated the fight and won it, suddenly he says that he is retiring. We've heard that he has personal reasons, but I doubt that this is the only reasons why he opted to retire this early. There could be more deeper reasons I guess that only him knows.
Maybe it's just a burst of emotion, that's why he has said that statement, I've read that he wants a nine-figure on his next fight or he will retire. Nine-figure means the minimum would be a hundred million dollars which I think is the biggest ever to be given as a guaranteed purse to a boxer if ever Top Rank heeds to his demand but I doubt he would receive this amount. We have heard Teo Lopez issued statement which were out of the blue and this retirement thing is one of them but i guess this statement will not hold true in the future as he is in for a money fights whether he likes it or not, money will change everything including Teo's mind. |

It looks like Teofimo Lopez step up his performance whenever he meet great boxer. The way I see the fight, Lopez is so focused and be able to outwit and out tempo Taylor. And Taylor just had a very bad performance and not utilizing his height and reach advantage. We all seen it that Teofimo Lopez is way smaller than Josh Taylor. Taylor failed to establish his job that should had helped him to keep Lopez @ bay.
This is also what I noticed about Teo Lopez, he rises up on occasion whenever he is on a big stage just like last night. I thought that if Teo showed up last night and his performance would be just like that when he fought Martin, that could have been an easy fight for Taylor but Lopez was amazing on his counter punching which he was not known for, I mean he is a knockout artist and an aggressive fighter on the get-go but nevertheless, it was a good game plan by Team Lopez but I think his hold of these belts will be short-live. |

Am I the only one watching the fight live? Another upset in boxing today as Teo Lopez defeated Josh Taylor via unanimous decision with the score of (2)115-113 and 117-111. Per compubox, Lopez landed way more power punches than Taylor via that counter-punching strategy which I found it weird because that's not the style of Lopez that I knew of, I knew him as an aggressive fighter. I've been thinking this over for a few hours and now i'm finalizing this one, pupusta na muna ako sa Nuggets sa game 4 -3.5 @1.88 kasi napagtanto ko na wala talagang palag yong Heat sa ilalim eh, minamama lang sila ni Jokic plus bumibirada pa ng husto ngayon si Murray na siyang nagpahirap sa mga guards ng Heat. Pag-asa lang talaga ng Heat dito ay kung pumapasok yong mga tres nila, let's say above 40 percent sila sa teritoryong yon pero hindi, inconsistent pa rin sila.

So, even if the PBA has not yet officially returned, at least we have sportsbooks that provide what we need. Maybe the reason is they have a different odds provider. At least we have an alternative. It's just unfortunate that my favorite crypto sports book has not covered these games today as they have not put odds on the pre-game but they covered the games involving SMB vs ROS and TNT vs Dyip just the other day. Even the local sports book also has not covered this one as of the moment. I'm in the mood of betting for the NLEX today but well see if there odds in the live games. |

Again, we might have to hate Teo Lopez and his father, the antics and everything. So I think this fight is going to sell, but I doubt that it can be close to like 200k PPV in the US. But I guess those numbers might be good for this 2 boxers, specially that Teo Lopez is fighting a non-American. And maybe the fans of Taylor is going to watch it from UK.

We really don't know if how long coach Chot will ignore the fans about the Ravena's seems that he's really admiring these two players even there are players who more deserving to earn the place, I will personally be glad if you are right that these two bros are just here to attend the trainings and just to improve their individual skills.
Though I won't be surprise if I will see their names when playing in FIBA world, the trust that Reyes have for these two boys is really unimaginable, ignoring the fans and let the bash to continue is something that a coach Chot is willing to accept for the Ravenas.
I think it's not coach Chot who likes the Ravena bros but i think it's the MVP group of companies honcho himself likes them to be on one of his teams (just my two cents hehe). They might be on the poll right now on the Gilas team but i think they would not be included in the final lineup because they are too small for their positions while playing in the FIBA. Dwight Ramos, Clarkson, Malonzo will be included so no need for the Ravena bros, they are just there for practice purposes.
Back to PBA betting, lost my bet for SMB as they lose by two points to the ROS Elastopainters and DYIP defeated also the heavy favorite TNT Katropa, congrats to those who bet on the underdogs last night.
