Lol!!!!  Dead coin!!!!! Community bleeding to death!!!!!! Fucking scammers!

That's all sorts of Bullshit.  I have opinions but calling Mr. Spread a scammer, as of now, is the biggest pile of shit I can imagine.  I have no idea why he hasn't communicated and at this point I don't care.  This coin was started in July last year...and there is nothing here that makes me believe that this was a long con.

I lost more than a few BTC on this and I am okay with it - I never invest more than I can lose (and I am just below even here).  But this wasn't a scam.  Mr. Spread - for whatever reason he is not communicative - is a stout dev and actually has relevant code here. It's not scam code and the price isn't going anywhere without him so I am pretty sure that he isn't cashing out.

So...pretty much, kindly eff off with your less than rudimentary assessment of the situation...

Cheers...Smiley

Same here man. And lets say for arguments sake that Mr. Spread sold 200.000 SPR (10% of the total) than he would have made roughly 100 BTC (selling down from 6 to 4). This doesn't way up agains the effort he put into this and the enormous potential and value of Spread.

Spread still has a great potential, it is the idea of improving crypto I like. It is not all about money. Mr. Spread will come back. In the mean time, are there programmers that can keep this project running?

I honestly think that the Dev is away for Chinese New Year as a lot of the Chinese Dev's have gone on a break stating so, maybe he was yanked out of there so quick he didn't have time to explain because of his strict family.

Even my friends & colleagues who are of that ethnicity have gone away with their family's to celebrate.

All the people dumping at this price are gonna be p!$$ed off in the coming days to a week.

Slight problem with your point:

He is not Chinese.

I think I agree. Judging from his writing style - and I am no expert, this is just a guess - I would bet he's Russian.

Hopefully he's doing OK. It doesn't make a lot of sense for me that a dev with that much talent would come to this point with a coin and abandon it.

What a weird scam this would be:
1) Learn enough about coding and crypto to become an elite programmer
2) Launch your own coin based on Darkcoin's codebase, with unique niche-building tweaks
3) Evaluate and find bugs in Darkcoin; submit bug fixes to Darkcoin to build up community trust
4) Implement a unique masternode system and organize a testnet launch for this feature
5) Disappear completely (profit?)

It seems to me that a scammer would do things in a much easier or more profitable way. For example, why not string it along for just a couple more weeks, launch masternodes in production, and make your exit then, when there will most likely be a big pump?

Anything is possible in crypto, and maybe this is a scam; but man, it just doesn't quite add up for me...

Totally agree, it just doesn't add up.

There is always a risk involved in new coins.
I still think Spread will live up to it's potential.
These prices will Spread this coin.

Is there not a way to combine forces and sue Coinographic, I'm not a lawyer so I don't know if we stand a chance.
But this behaviour shouldn't be taken lightly.
He owes me 2,75 BTC, for the competition.
