Imagine 5% of all active forum users being sanctioned due to being paid directly by mixers, or all participants in a big signature campaign being targets of a search warrant, or our service providers suddenly banning us due to being "associated" with mixers, etc. I think that the crypto community is near the start of a multi-year squeezing campaign against mixers; similar to the cannabis industry in the US, or Operation Choke Point, or what happened with Backpage, or the deplatforming of Parler.

Nothing unique, just a simple idea I thought about, and I think it's very feasible, and not only will it allow me to still promote my services on this forum, but it possibly will take away the eyes of the authority from my service.
If I owned a bitcoin mixing service, and since Bitcoin mixing services have been banned from being promoted on this forum, in other to keep promoting my service on this forum, I would build a really good bitcoin wallet with lots of features, and include bitcoin mixing service as one of the features, but this particular feature will be hidden in the wallet, and to access it, I will come up with a trick.
With this, I will continue promoting my service on this forum, no longer as a bitcoin mixer, but as an innocent bitcoin wallet, meanwhile, hidden inside the wallet is a bitcoin mixing service.
This way, bitcointalk.org won't be implicated if any thing happens, since users here were technically and practically promoting a bitcoin wallet, not a mixer.
What do you guys think.?
It's unlikely that you can get away with this everything about the word mixers is filtered out based on theymos announcement so you cannot mention the word mixer the admin can make it a banned word and if you are caught trying to manipulate the sentence like mentioning mixer to m-i-x-e-r you are likely to get a ban This is one example of the filtered word that will likely come out but it will still depend on the forum admin's choice of words I used my forum dashboard as an example. |
