721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: advantage of bitcoin debit card? on: March 06, 2016, 01:35:56 PM
Actually it's cheaper to withdraw your Bitcoins into your bank account and then withdraw cash from your bank's ATM than withdrawing cash via a Bitcoin debit card.
722  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: question on using localbitcoins.com paying in cash on: March 06, 2016, 01:31:57 PM
My advice is to meet at some coffee shop in the early afternoon when there are a lot of people around or bring some close friend with you or tell him to survey the exchange from a distance so if the seller tries to run with the cash you could get immediate help.
723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: btc address to locate someone on: March 06, 2016, 12:30:01 PM
Is it possible to locate the last whereabouts of a person when he exchanged his bitcoins for fiat? Not tracing his transactions but like pinpoint his GPS coordinates in the world?
724  Other / Off-topic / Re: What else besides Bitcoin r u doing to make money online? on: March 06, 2016, 11:29:11 AM
I have a full time job so aside from some Bitcoin signature campaigns I am writing my own blog which is monetized with ads and that's basically it.
725  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: March 05, 2016, 12:05:36 PM
If you do alt coin mining at home I think you could make enough or near enough money to pay your bills or food for the month at least and use the rest of your salary for entertainment or vacations and such. I don't need Bitcoin to be my main job to enjoy life more  Wink
726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin today and your original expectations on: March 05, 2016, 08:58:39 AM
When I stumbled upon Bitcoin at first I thought it was some kind of magic Internet money but as I got more involved with it I saw the advantages to move freely money online without having to provide your credentials to facilitate the transactions. Nowadays Bitcoin is like a hobby for me and a side income.
727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase CEO: Core Team is a "Systemic Threat" on: March 05, 2016, 08:47:34 AM
I doubt it the bitcoin devs are working for free. And a healthy competition is always a good thing even though the Core team has been a little bit too self-absorbed.
728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: advantage of bitcoin debit card? on: March 05, 2016, 08:40:21 AM
It seems like a big advantage being able to withdraw money at ATMs and purchase goods online where only credit cards are accepted but the fees are too much to handle for me and negate this convenience.
729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Vitalik Buterin Satoshi Nakamoto? on: March 05, 2016, 08:25:33 AM
Hey guys what if Satoshi were a woman? Why does everyone assume that it's a man?  Cheesy Are there no good female programmers?

gavin andreas sure satoshi is 1 person and he is a man .
i think satoshi nakamoto come from japan, i see japan is leading of bitcoin adoption.

Does he really know the real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto? How can we be sure he is just one man based on Gavin's words?
730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin accepting Electric Vehicle Public Charging Station on: March 04, 2016, 11:50:49 AM
I think most of the charging stations are free of charge if you mean the Tesla cars. I am not sure about the electric cars of other brands. Gas station owners may install such charging stations to earn profit.
731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Life Inside a Secret Chinese Bitcoin Mine on: March 04, 2016, 11:42:04 AM
I wonder what the price of electricity in China is. I would guess it's along the lines of 5 cents a kilowatt or something. Does anyone know the real price?
732  Economy / Services / Re: Promote your site On twiiter ! on: March 04, 2016, 06:24:13 AM
Hey mate which countries are the majority of your followers from? Also is your Twitter made for a specific purpose like sports- or bitcoin-related or you can promote anything to the followers?
733  Economy / Services / Re: Socail Media Opportunity Offering on: March 04, 2016, 06:12:55 AM
What are the higher tiers payments though? I don't want to be wasting hours just to earn a measly $1 by clicking buttons on people's Facebook pages. Also there better be a Bitcoin payment option because Paypal fees will destroy you if you want to withdraw smaller amounts.
734  Economy / Speculation / Re: why bitcoin is going down? on: March 03, 2016, 03:27:20 PM
The government and IBM are not interested in Bitcoin but in the technology behind it - the Blockchain. And they cant just outlaw Bitcoin out of thin air as it's not illegitimate in the slightest. The Bitcoin payment processors and exchanges may get regulated but that's not such a big pain in the butt to deal with anyways. The point at which digital bitcoins enter the physical world will be legalized Smiley I don't know why everyone is panicking like the sky is falling down or something Smiley
735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: March 03, 2016, 03:07:50 PM
I have my fears the price rise will happen right before the halving then it will plateau and will slowly start a downward spiral again until the next pump. I am not sure if I should buy coins now or after the halving but I may very well be wrong with my expectations.
736  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: March 03, 2016, 09:39:39 AM
I have watched a few YouTube videos of people collecting precious metals coins. The diversity of these collectibles is fascinating and if you are into collecting stuff you can check these out but you need a spacious and safe storage in your house to hold them.
737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone explain the "high-fee spam attack" now? on: March 03, 2016, 09:25:42 AM
I am using the Coinkite online wallet and it has a lot of fee options to choose from before sending a tx like 1x 2x 3x 4x the minimum fees to average to high and custom fees. It's a solid wallet with many features.
738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 15btc transaction fee, big mistake on: March 03, 2016, 09:09:28 AM
Oh God this must be the highest fees I have ever seen in a transaction. I think this must be human error and not some script messing up and sending the wrong fees. I hope the sender is doing OK and not taking this too seriously on himself.
739  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What are miners doing with their profits? on: March 03, 2016, 12:33:35 AM
I have a friend who is a Bitcoin miner and he is self-employed. All his rent, monthly bills and food are paid for by his altcoin mining rigs so I guess you could get by just from mining. He is probably saving up something in a wallet for long-term investment as well.
740  Economy / Services / Re: Win 50 USD and get a Free Bitcoin Virtual Debit Card for answering Survey on: March 02, 2016, 07:33:30 PM
Hello I received the voucher for the virtual debit card in my mail and everything went smooth with the registration and loading of funds. Is there a winner already for the $50 free credit or it's still to be nominated?
