I absolutely agree it has been a pretty lang wait now for the next big games on the international stage in football and i'm really looking forward to all the Champions League (and Europa League) games that are happening in the next few weeks. Finally we have at least 2 good games per week again that we can watch from our favorite teams. Your bet on more than 2.5 goals sounds reasonable to me as i also have a hard time to pick a favorite in this matchup here. Paris definitely has way more pressure than Real Madrid here because in the end all that money that went from Qatar into PSG in the last 10 years was only paid because of 1 goal; to win the Champions League. PSG obviously is going to be under more pressure than Real Madrid. and I also think that PSG is going to give it their all to win in this match because they don't have the pressure of their own League as they are almost surely going to win the league. But Real Madrid has their La Liga title to think about and it will also be really disappointing to see any of these teams getting knocked out. But I really believe that PSG has more of a point to prove than Real Madrid because they uh have been really inconsistent in the league despite of having great players in the squad. |

It looks like Newcastle’s 92m GBP outlay during the winter transfer window is paying dividends. They got a couple of good wins now and they’re 4 points above the relegation zone with a match to spare. They’ve just recently won vs a tough opponent in Aston Villa. Honestly the huge investment by the sheikh into Newcastle is already paying off and yielding good results, with consistent in their good performance in their subsequent matches will ensure their escape from relegation. Lyon managed to win 2-0 from Nice and the Ligue 1 competition can be said that PSG easily won this season, Nice the team in 2nd place had to lose to Lyon who is currently in 6th place. Nice's defeat made the difference in points with PSG quite far and currently Marseille has moved up to second place even though there is still one game left but the points gap with PSG is still 13 points adrift, very far and PSG will end the competition early to ensure the Ligue 1 title this season.
Honestly, even if Marsielle and Nice end up winning every single remainder of the games, I would still see PSG becoming champions. Why? Because, the difference is 15+ points and that means losing 5 games or more (or having ties according to that). This is something that is very unlikely, I do not see that happening at all. Obviously, those teams are fighting for the second and third spot just so they could get paid accordingly and be at a higher level during UCL as well, going directly to the groups or going to play elimination games and so forth are things that matter a lot. Which is why I believe that these clubs do not play for championship anymore, haven't in a long time. PSG is going to win the league title, it's as simple as that. The question is who is going to be 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. OM, Nice, and Strassburg All of them have the chance of being in the second third, and fourth place because they have very little point difference between them. But I am sure that they are not going to overtake PSG. |

Not only about temporary standings but also about the decreasing performance of Athletico Madrid and the rising performance of Barcelona are oppositely. I still very humble to say Barcelona will maintain their performance till the end because their players are not good like in the past. Dani Alves and Xavi come and brought some good effects.

In the first half, Dortmund were ahead of the host Union Berlin. M Reus successfully bought 2 Dortmund goals, in the 18th and 25th minutes. With this temporary result, it was easier for them to play in the second half. They dominated the game with 65% possession. I predict they will really win this match.
Dormund were able to maintain the winning till the end of the match yesterday. They also secured another goal in the second. Which probably led to the match ending with 0-3 score. Is was quite unfortunately to see Union Berlin destroyed in their home, they literally couldn't score any goal. However, Dormund have decreases their points gap behind Bayern Munich to 6. if they can win consistently in their next matches. Hopefully, they may succeed in overtaking the 1st position from Munich. I believe that if Dortmund does not lose this single match they actually have a really good chance of getting up with Bayern Munich and giving them a good fight for the title this season. You cannot expect green wickets in Pakistan and hence they will be looking at pitches where spinners will be having an advantage,least in the last couple of days. No idea about the qualify of wickets in domestic cricket in Pakistan. I never thought the last tour of Pakistan was 24 years ago, that is a really long time and i do think that Australia will move ahead with the tour.
I don't expect Pakistan to make surfaces that give advantage to the spinners. Gone are the days when Pakistan had legendary spinners such as Saqlain Mushtaq, Mushtaq Ahmed and Danish Kaneria. Now in the spin department, Australia is a level ahead of Pakistan. Nathan Lyon is extremely experienced and in good form recently. Ashton Agar is another excellent option, while I don't want to comment much on Mitchell Swepson. If the tracks are spinner-friendly, then it can backfire on Pakistan and Lyon will destroy them. I think that Pakistan is going to make the tracks batting friendly in my opinion because in a batting-friendly pitch I think that spinners might just be ineffective and you know, Pakistan has some quality fast bowlers who can bowl really well in any type of track. I also don't expect them to make the tracks absolutely for fast bowling because then the matches might just be not very fun for the viewers. |

It will be interesting to watch the Atalanta vs Juventus encounter - the neighbours in the standings... In my opinion, Atalanta have more motivation, because if they win they move up one position! However, the stats from the last few games don't look too good for Atalanta... They've only won one game in the last five, while Juventus have been on a winning streak in recent games, not counting the draw against Milan!

Mumbai Indians could only retain 4 players, else they would have retained him for a much smaller amount. In the end, he was sold for more than $2 million, while Kieron Pollard (who was retained) will receive just $800,000. And I am not surprised with the money-splurging attitude from the franchises. If they can spend $1 billion for purchasing the franchise, then spending 0.1% or 0.2% of that for a good player is just like peanuts. I agree and I think that in their mind, they all are thinking about winning the IPL so it makes a lot of sense for them to go for the best players that they can get in their team. As the winning price is a lot of money I think that they are trying to get that by making the team stronger. This is obviously not the most ethical thing but it is what it is. |

No one expected Bochum to win against Bayern so convincingly, even more surprising Bochum can score 4 goals in the first half.
This Bayern defeat I also find it difficult to explain why it happened, even though the majority of the players Bayern played were main players.
From the statistics, Bayern is better than Bochum, maybe Bayern are just unlucky. I'm sure Bayern will wake up soon in the next game.

I don't think Bayern Munich's players were ready for a sudden attack on Bochum's players. They felt the Bochum team was weak as usual. If you notice, Bochum has scored 3 goals after 38 minutes. Bayern Munich's defenders were somewhat disorganized. Such an attack by Bochum was unexpected for them. In the second half we saw Bayern Munich conceding no more goals. If they had been aware in the first half, Bayern Munich would not have conceded 4 goals. Best to be honest it is a case of underestimating the opponent by Bayern Munich in my opinion because in no reality there should be losing to a team like Bochum. But I have to give credit to Bochum because they really planned it to perfection and executed it really well. I think that Bayern Munich have learned that lesson, again, and will be careful from the next matches. |

The most absurd game of the day was Atletico Madrid - Getafe for certain. I was literally shocked when I saw a 3-3 score at the end of the first half. I wondered how it happened and saw that Getafe made a great comeback after being 2-0 behind. They scored three consecutive goals in twelve minutes. I wasn't waiting for seeing a retaliation like this from them. And after seeing the red card for Atletico Madrid in the second half, I thought that they wouldn't win this. But they still scored in the 89th minute and won by 4-3. Mario Hermoso scored the life-saver for his team.
Getafe ranks 15th in the points table. Atletico Madrid have a lot of problems to win against such a team. Their defense is very weak now, their performance in the last few matches is weak. Now they have to take appropriate measures to strengthen the defense. Otherwise, they will not be in the top 4 teams in the points table. Their overall performance is now weak just because of the weak defense. |

We all know that Inflation in the US economy is at an alarming rate. Not the only USA, but Inflation is also a big problem for many countries globally, and it seems there is no way to stop it. Is it impossible to stop inflation in fiat currency or govt don't want to take any action it stop it? Do you think people can do anything to stop inflation in their economy or its inevitable?
I believe that we had many years when the world economy did alright, between around 2011 to 2016 it was as stable as it gets as far as I can remember, also between 2001/2002 to 2008 crisis it was still relatively ok as well. These are things that I am making out of my mind right now, I do not clearly remember or even checked the data for it but it wasn't THIS bad for sure. Between nations handling covid horribly and energy crisis and pandemic causing productions to halt and many other things, profits are not too low for major companies but people are not seeing most of it hence why the world is doing worse. All in all, inflation could be fine as long as it is under %2 but we have been over that for a while now. The rate of inflation is now alarming. Inflation is rising worldwide at such a rate that even countries like the United States are facing it. Although inflation has not been such a big issue in some countries in recent years, but you can check the data of low per capita income countries. Inflation is nothing new there. Not everyone is suffering from the problem of inflation. Many are also taking advantage of it, so the profits of the major companies are not low. People are very stranger creatures, they do not think about the problems of the country or others. whatever the situation, they want to achieve their own interests. |

Also, he may win UCL trophy with Bayern Munchen because Munchen is one of the strongest clubs in this competition. If Haaland has a dream to win many trophies, especially prestigious trophies like UCL trophy, he needs to move to a club like Bayern Munchen. Well, Haaland will not be able to join Bayern Munich and get the Bundesliga title in its composition this season, despite a solid margin. His last ODI century came in 2019, that year he scored 7 tons. 5 in ODI and 2 in Tests. After that everything went down the hill as far as his next ton is concern. But dropping him sounds strange. 2020 ODI ( 9 innings) 16 , 76, 91, 63, 25, 12, 21, 87, 78 2021 ODI ( 3 innings) 60, 79, 10 2022 ODI ( 6 innings) 51, 5, 65, 8, 18, 0 Total 18 ODI innings and he scored 9 fifties. He's victim of his own records. I actually remembered that innings in which he scored 91.
