741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tell me why Satoshi Nakamoto didn't spend a Satoshi from his 1 Mio BTC on: March 02, 2016, 07:13:18 PM
I think it's a mix of options 4 & 5. Satoshi probably doesn't want to draw any attention to himself right now in these turbulent times and is waiting for that rocket to reach the Moon upon which he will be the richest man alive  Wink
742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does the bible say about Bitcoin? on: March 02, 2016, 06:29:54 PM
I don't think religions are instilled by the governments to control their populations. People from ancient times believed there was a higher power in search of hope for themselves during hardships like war, drought, cataclysms. And as the Bible says we shall not steal the Bitcoins of our friends  Grin
743  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the Future of Bitcoin Lies in Europe on: March 01, 2016, 01:40:48 PM
Was the guy who implanted a micro chip with his private keys for his Bitcoin wallet from the Netherlands? In general I think Northern Europe is much more interested in using Bitcoins than Southern Europe. I hope people from all the European countries become more forward-thinking and take the time to learn about this new technology and how to use it.
744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Steam accept Bitcoin soon? on: March 01, 2016, 11:10:57 AM
What will happen to the 3rd party sellers of Steam games for bitcoins? Now they are selling the games with big overhead. Will they readjust the prices after Steam launches Bitcoin payments or they will close up shop?
745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why transactions are taking too long ? on: March 01, 2016, 09:01:31 AM
I have been sending my transactions with 4x the minimal fee for a while and they seem to be confirming kinda faster.
What is your usual fee guys that you like to use? Do you use the high to medium fees or lower?
746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan considers making bitcoin a legal currency on: March 01, 2016, 08:46:15 AM
The advantages of recognizing Bitcoin and the altcoins as currencies are going to propel their adoption further among other developed countries. But I wonder what the disadvantages will be compared to the existing pseudo-anonymity.
I think if Bitcoin gets classified as a currency the discounts of shopping online will no longer be available because the vendors will need to pay more taxes imposed by the government.
747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Awesome Bitcoin Addresses !! on: March 01, 2016, 08:25:04 AM
I heard storing too many bitcoins on a vanity address could get them stolen because the service you created your address at knows your private keys and someone with an access to the database could rip you off easily. I don't know if this is 100% true just heard rumors.
748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You DO NOT NEED 6 confirmations. on: February 29, 2016, 02:21:00 PM
My wallet requires 4 confirmations and the last transaction I made took so frustratingly long. Maybe I need to find a new, faster Bitcoin wallet. Do you have any suggestion guys? Something with 2 confirmations max?
749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just booked a trip using BTC on: February 29, 2016, 01:30:37 PM
I would love it to plan a vacation, accommodation, spending budget and travel expenses that are funded only by bitcoins so I don't need to use my credit cards or cash. I would buy a lot of pre-paid cards in the country I am in and try to live entirely on Bitcoin every day. I think this could be a great adventure and achievement showing that Bitcoin is real and can help you survive in a foreign country.
750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why most of btc users are russians? on: February 29, 2016, 01:24:59 PM
Your statement that Russia have the most online scammers piqued my interest so I decided to do a Google search and apparently countries like Malaysia, South Africa, Romania, Indonesia, Venezuela, Brazil are much higher on the lift of Internet fraudsters. There are a lot of poor people with Internet access nowadays so watch your back online.
751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mixers, anonymisers and bitcoin obfuscators on: February 29, 2016, 11:10:31 AM
Well guys you are lucky to have friends and family members that are into Bitcoin. My only option is to use crypto exchanges but I am okay with giving my ID to different institutions online so no big deal for me. Too much hiding is not good either right?  Grin
752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How police think about Bitcoin enthusiasts ? on: February 29, 2016, 10:30:16 AM
I hope you guys are aware that the police force of every country has a Cyber Crime department where they deal with all the crimes done through the Internet or digitally and I am sure they very well know what Bitcoin is. Now I would think they only go after the big scammers and don't bother with the petty Bitcoin thieves that are trying to scam $15 for their next Xbox game over the forums  Wink
753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EU Plans To End Anonymity For Bitcoin And Prepaid Card Users on: February 28, 2016, 12:56:44 PM
Why are they targeting pre-paid cards too? I haven't heard of anyone laundering money through such cards and there are far better, more inconspicuous ways to transfer money than through pre-paid cards. So now I need to give out my ID card to the kiosk guy I am buying a pre-paid card form?
754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google don't care about Bitcoin ? on: February 27, 2016, 07:50:41 PM
Google have their own payments solutions so Bitcoin as a digital currency may not present an interest for them. I guess they are closely following the Blockhain technology though.
755  Economy / Services / Re: get paid up too $1.00 dollar for dowloading apps that is 0.002btc on: February 27, 2016, 02:01:22 PM
Is this somewhat similar to coinbucks.io pay-per-download?
Also will there be different rates depending on which country the app was downloaded?
Why is wifi not allowed? Afaik, using data will cost too much mobile recharge for people and so most people will prefer to use wifi.
I hope you can release an app for it and not just a website. It will be more convenient if the app was installed already in my phone.
Website will be mobile friendly and app for it one day will be a great idea, but for now.

Are there hidden fees by downloading the apps through the mobile operator? Because this seems fishy to me not allowing to use Wi-Fi which is much faster & better.
756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Developers , getting paid ? on: February 26, 2016, 11:33:09 AM
I remember Mike Hearn saying that he has left his previous job to work full-time into Bitcoin development so I guess they receive royalties or direct payment from the Foundation. Also if you can get sponsors you can pretty much get by just from that.
757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when we have mined all the BTC on: February 26, 2016, 09:15:48 AM
Do all miners get a portion of the transactions fees included in the mined blocks or only some of them receive fees? Is it like a lottery or everyone is guaranteed to profit from this?
758  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: February 26, 2016, 07:28:21 AM
If I were you I would hold the coins until after the halving or till the end of the year if the price continue rising then convert it back to cash, shove it in a bank and get a nice chunk of money every year just from the interest alone while enjoying life and stop reading forums  Grin
759  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Increase my bitcoins. on: February 26, 2016, 07:13:47 AM
I have always wondered what the lenders do with the collaterals when the borrowers default on the loans. Are they able to sell these easily or are just stuck with these forever. I don't mean the altcoins but more like different accounts or physical items. I guess they could sell them on Ebay or different forums but it seems to me a big hassle dealing with items just to get 10% more.
760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just booked a trip using BTC on: February 26, 2016, 07:09:56 AM
