741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coins bring a lot of big profits on: May 30, 2022, 08:37:43 AM
What are your goals when investing in new coins? Did you get a huge profit from the new coins? Can you recommend a new coin worth investing besides LUNA?
I think, almost everyone has an investment goal to make a profit. just like investing in new coins, we all have the goal of making big profits. I've made big profits from new coins, but I've also had losses for it. however, that is the risk of investing in something new. you could get a big profit, a small profit, no profit, not much loss, a lot of loss, or even a scam. For now, I can only recommend for popular altcoins, while for new altcoins, we all have the same risk. You need to do your own research for that.
742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto profits on: May 30, 2022, 02:07:58 AM
in general, I use the profits from the crypto results that I get to get other benefits, while my main capital, I withdraw back to the account I have. this makes the investment that I have to be purely from my profits. it's just, it's still mine, so when there's a loss I get, it still really stresses me out.
however, the method that I do is also very widely used for business people or other investors to develop their assets. the only difference is the value. So, use your profits to get other benefits until you achieve financial freedom.
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL on: May 28, 2022, 03:21:15 AM
well, if you choose to hold on for the long term, then there is no better crypto asset than bitcoin and ethereum. even without doing some research, these two coins will be our first look at pump before other altcoins.
besides, the current situation, the bitcoin price is still in a bearish state, which means, after the bearish, there will most likely be a bull market. even if it's just speculation, holding bitcoin for a long time might give us an advantage. I've already benefited from ethereum for holding it for long periods of time. For now, I don't have any long term holding assets yet, but if I had more money to invest, I would also choose bitcoin and ethereum.
744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to detetct any scam projects? on: May 27, 2022, 12:11:32 PM
I tend to agree with what @AmoreJaz said.

To avoid getting scammed 100% of times, one would need to stop investing completely. But of course that would not be the case because we are here in this forum after all. So we can only minimise the risks that have the biggest impact like not revealing private keys, keeping your devices secure.

Beyond that we need to investigate the suspicious projects like many other users in this forum are doing and reporting in this forum's scam accusations section.
Well, I think that's the only way to minimize risk so that people avoid being scammed. however, if we want to be completely safe, we better need to find a job that can pay us every month. very true that investment is a risky place to increase the assets we have. in fact, no matter how well we research, it's still there. it's just that people don't realize it and don't want it to happen. It is very true that the way to avoid scam investments 100% is to not invest, because when you have invested, the percentage will decrease.
745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should newbies Invest in new Projects on: May 27, 2022, 06:46:01 AM
I think if you are a newbie but in real life you are an investor who has cold funds, you can try to invest in new projects but with DWYOR.  Don't be swayed by the benefits offered but check them out and do your best research.  But if you are really a "newbie" and you are not ready to risk losing I suggest you better invest in projects that are already running and already have a roadmap.
newbie or not, they are at their own risk. however, the problem is that newbies are very difficult to distinguish which projects have real potential, which ones are scams. not just a newbie, even someone who has been in the business world for a long time is also like that.
it would be great if the person found someone more experienced in this field and learned directly from him, and asked for advice on a place he felt was pretty good. However, a newbie needs knowledge in investment matters. Newbies are encouraged to start investing in certain projects to develop their assets and skills. however, I highly recommend that a newbie who wants to invest in a new project needs guidance from someone who has a long history in the field.
746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smart decision I made toward the end of the bull run on: May 27, 2022, 03:44:13 AM
How do you make a profit if the price of btc keeps falling continue? btc bull market will not come very soon and i do not see any possibility of it. But a good way for me is that you can sell altcoins if you want by converting to usdt then trading by choosing the best token from binance or kucoin.

of course the key is holding, definitely some people just gonna bags if it's in bearish market because there is really nothing they could do to go against the wave without incurring losses further.
by 1-2 years ahead into the future the market is gonna be getting better and these holders gonna be having a good time because although the market haven't reached the full potential they are already up in their investment portfolio
so holding and choosing best altcoins is the key
but, from what I've learned, what I've learned from the experience I've had so far, the real key is not just relying on patience, but daring to take advantage of the situation to sell when the price is high, and buy when the price is low. Personally, I also continue to hold the assets I own until the price of the assets I own falls. and several times I did not take advantage of the situation when the price was falling to increase the assets I had. however, it has to do with patience and the smart decisions we need to make. many people continued to hold bitcoins while they were still hitting ATH, but have now sold them as prices fell, and so did other assets.
anyway, the OP is pretty good at making his own decisions without having to listen to youtubers, or anyone else. if he endured it, he might be at a disadvantage right now
747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible UST recovered ? on: May 26, 2022, 08:26:32 AM
is it possible UST recovered ?
Impossible. Dev has tried his best for UST to recover, he even spent hundreds of thousands of bitcoin dollars for all bitcoins to ensure UST remains stable but can't make it return to all prices until the supply of LUNA and the LUNA-UST protocol is stopped and it has been abandoned by dev. They're about to start LUNA v2 but as for the fate of UST I think it will really disappear from existence.
Another reason is that even when the CEO of Terra tries to cover UST, people continue to lose faith in the project he owns. I think, it is very difficult to recover. it's a stable coin, and very prone to crashing again once it's recovered, in fact, I think people prefer to use other stable coins over UST. so far the price is still under $0.1, and it proves that this is a stable coin that failed.
748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So my portfolio is down %70...too late to pull back now I guess on: May 26, 2022, 05:49:49 AM
I don't know if it's the same or not, but we've fallen from high prices to low prices in 2018. It also makes a lot of people mentally ill. however, I also feel the same way. although the decline in the price of my assets from 2021 is tiered, however, if I count them, maybe my assets have decreased by more than 80%. however, it was a mistake I made when I still had a high asset value by the time bitcoin hit its ATH, but I assumed that there would be a better price. Well, but this is the risk of investing in crypto.
749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good time to start accepting BTC? on: May 26, 2022, 02:03:20 AM
Hello all,

I have been following Bitcoin prices for some time, and now I'm doubtful if it is a good time to start accepting it as it has changed so much in the past months. Those who accept Bitcoin - is it worth it? And do you accept Bitcoin straight to your wallet, or do you use third-party services?

Thanks in advance!
whenever would be a good time to receive bitcoins, or have them in your wallet. Questions like these will continue to exist until you start accepting bitcoins, or owning them. for now, the price is even discounted quite far from the ATH price, so this might be an opportunity for you.
Besides, if you feel that it's too late because the bitcoin price has fallen far short of its ATH price, when is the best time for you? is it when the bitcoin price reaches $10k, or when the bitcoin price reaches $100k? Such questions will reappear when the bitcoin price has reached one of these prices. So, it's never too late when you start.
750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether (USDT) - Backed by Air and Words on: May 25, 2022, 09:07:27 AM
well, it seems that people are starting to question how things are going about stable other coins after the UST crash. however, USDT has always had its questions in the past. however, there are some issues like USDT is only in supply 70% of real money, and so on. however, people sometimes forget that. to be honest, currently the assets I have use more BUSD than USDT. it's because there are enough issues like this. however, USDT is one of the most popular crypto assets at the moment, I don't expect it to collapse, and can refute all the negative speculation that exists.
751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying the dip? on: May 25, 2022, 05:10:56 AM
Only on some selected altcoins, not those that are newly emerged because we don't have any idea whether they are legit or not because this is how they are in the start, they keep updating and active to their investors to lure them to invest more and when they see that they gaining profit, they pull back with that money and disappear. Except for a few that are real and have their own teams of real developers, they won't do such things rather they are busy developing their project after their launch and making it one of the best contenders in the crypto market until it reaches one of the top altcoins.
however, if you want to buy the current dip, it is best to choose a popular altcoin, or the most recommended one is bitcoin. choosing a new coin because its price is dropping at the moment is not a good thing. because some of the new projects are sometimes very difficult to pump when the price has dropped. however, currently I still see the state of the market first. if I wanted to buy a dip, I would probably buy one of bitcoin, ethereum or BNB.
752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 40 high schools in Argentina to launch bitcoin in their curriculum. on: May 25, 2022, 01:38:40 AM
no wonder some countries have created special curricula for blockchain, specifically bitcoin. right now, crypto is very popular to be discussed, and it could be that out of those 4000 students, some will become crypto developers in the future, who knows. however, this is something that needs to be learned for today's schoolchildren. so that they are familiar with this technology when they see it. right now, there's a lot on the internet about crypto, if they learn about it, maybe they can also make big projects in the future. well, hopefully other countries will also start publishing this curriculum.
753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't trade your Bitcoin like Laszlo Hanyecz on: May 24, 2022, 04:34:26 AM
now and then are different. what Laszlo Hanyecz does is a sacrifice that proves that bitcoin can be an alternative payment on the internet. it can be said that the development of the bitcoin price to date is one of what he was trying to do a few years ago. this is different from spending bitcoins nowadays. in addition, Laszlo Hanyecz also gave the impetus for bitcoin to have value at that time. after all, he is a legend that crypto users should appreciate. however, the perception of bitcoin trading now and then is a different matter.
754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are new bitcoin users early or late to the party? on: May 24, 2022, 02:30:06 AM
we don't know what bitcoin will be in the future. The thing I know right now is that the price of bitcoin is going down, and this could be an opportunity for those of you who feel it's too late. Actually, it's never too late to start, but we need to understand the current situation and understand the risks that could occur. If you want to come in now, maybe you're not too late.
however, the word late will still be there when the bitcoin price has reached $100k, $500k, up to $1 million. people will keep saying they are late when they never started.
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $1.6 billion dollars turned to $2,200 - The Luna effect on Binance Assets on: May 23, 2022, 10:43:06 AM
even so, it is clear that the CEO of Binance is disappointed with the project. The proof is, Binance had announced that it would delist LUNA and UST coins, but it was canceled with several conditions. despite his huge net worth, losing $1.6 billion would also have an impact on the company or himself. however, this happened not only to binance, but to most LUNA holdings before the dump occurred. I see that CZ wants to support the recovery of this project, but seeing that this project has reached the bottom, I think this even takes a long time and costs a lot of money
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you agree ETH have become seen as less risk asset over BTC? on: May 23, 2022, 03:24:57 AM
not really. Seeing today bitcoin greatly affects the price of altcoins, then I feel that ethereum has the same risk, or even greater than bitcoin. however, sometimes bitcoin price drops are so large that they have an effect on the prices of other altcoins, even ethereum. if possible, I might be more inclined to choose bitcoin over ethereum as a long term investment. it's just, the price of bitcoin is too big. other than that, ethereum still has some problems that need to be resolved. it's just that, apart from that, bitcoin and ethereum are still classified as investment recommendations in the crypto world. choosing one is not a problem. it's just that, when it comes to risk, I think both have the same risk.
757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thank you Laszlo Hanyecz! Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day! on: May 23, 2022, 12:49:52 AM
Bitcoin's first transaction was huge at this point in time. $300 million for pizza, well that's a huge sacrifice to make bitcoin an alternative payment at its current value. however, it is a sacrifice that needs to be made. anyways, i really appreciate mr Laszlo for doing this, and maybe good luck to the guy selling the pizza if he still has most of the bitcoins he receives. after all, this is one of the history in crypto world that I feel to be the first step of bitcoin transaction on real physical thing. He is a legend
758  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason why I put all my money in Bitcoin as a newbie on: May 22, 2022, 03:35:16 PM
well, to choose bitcoin investment from all altcoins is probably the right choice. however, putting all your assets in bitcoin is not a good idea. You need to think about your daily living expenses as well as other necessities. putting it all in one investment is not good. moreover bitcoin has a very high level of volatility. Bitcoin price could fall in 1 night. it could be a risk you are facing right now. I suggest using only the money you are prepared to invest in, and for the few places you invest. It is better. however, bitcoin is the right choice, it's just that the strategy you have is not right. well, it's just a suggestion, it all depends on your decision.
759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Community means everything on: May 22, 2022, 08:33:41 AM
Community means everything in crypto space, there are many people who think that shiba coin won't enter top 10 on coinmarketcap well today we did it, now that we are in bull season I'm sure more surprises is coming, shiba is more than a meme coin do your own research before judging the project, Dogecoin that was loved by the community for few years now got flipped

that's crypto, no one knows but it's true that a large community can make a coin into Fomo like shiba which was originally a meme coin like doge
in terms of the top 10 in the coinmarket, I don't think shiba can enter because as we know the top 10 coins in CMC are coins that have been tested and really exist (only research and personal conclusions)
actually not only in the crypto world, but in the business world, community is one of the most important keys. however, we feel that the larger the community of a product, or project, the more users and also the product or project has an important function. otherwise, a project or product without a community won't interest other people. a real example today is bitcoin, has a very large community that makes many large companies and even countries recognize it, and has a high price.
760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any Bounty who is giving Big Reward. on: May 22, 2022, 02:34:23 AM
Another thing that exists in the current bounty is, we don't know whether we will get paid a lot or not before the project is completed, or before the payment for the bounty is complete. the allocation of the reward given to the bounty hunter cannot be used as a reference as a fixed payment unless it uses stable coins or bitcoins. however, many bounties write that their reward is $100k, but when it's distributed, the reward is even less than $10k. Because of that, nowadays it is very difficult to find high paying bounties. You can find out if the payment is expensive or not after it's done. So, if you intend to find a bounty that has a large payout, try doing some research to choose a potential bounty project.
