how do I get pictures added on the left side under my username?

You must be ateast a full member in order to put avatar (image under your name on left side ) .
You will become a full member after 120 days which is like 4 months . however you can buy a full member account .
when you become a full member go to my profile > Forum Profile Information > Avatar . you will see only avatar button if you are a fm member . and can select a avatar of size of 120x80 pixels.

What image file types are acceptable?
File types are, PNG, GIF, or JPEG. You can't have animated GIF though, theymos mentioned it. The max file size is 100KiB. If your picture is too big, you can use paint to edit it to size(resize it).

My difficulty is 1, what do I do? Whatever is profited I will share with whoever contributed to the best of my ability. I just do not yet exactly know how too:-(
It is normal. For most pools, they allow users to set difficulty or have variable difficulty which increases based on the hashrates. Larger shares can be submitted and the payout would still be the same in the long run. However, bandwidth would be saved. It doesn't matter alot. For small ASICs and GPU, the recommended difficulty is 1.

Term length:6 weeks
Interest: 30%

Sent! https://blockchain.info/tx/75a4cec6afdadb6ccbf7ff45b7de91982d8f0e3b431ef82adb771479575563c3
Confirmed. Thanks!
Yeah. I talked to MZ about this a few hours ago. I have another server to pay. The 0.25 is an purchase of an account which I have delayed for a few days. I can provide collateral for this if needed. Same for other loans I have outstanding.

Edit: and also invoices and the deals I'm going to pay.

Edit edit: I can also ask the escrow to directly send payments to MZ first for this 0.1BTC loan before I settle other loans altogether.

Final edit: I got a paidverts account that I can escrow if you want assurance but I doubt it would be a valid collateral.

i have problem with loading of site my page stuck on loading, is that problem only for me or PD has issue with hosting again?

It happens if your connection is bad or if you use TOR or VPN.

Or if the problem is with your browser.

But most of the times the site will load after a long period of time anyway

TOR or VPN might make things slow, but if you don't have localStorage turned on in your browser then it'll never load at all.

Are you sure that TOR even works? I tried a few months ago and the connection was rejected. I am pretty sure it was a PrimeDice and not some other gambling website.

I'm not sure, but I'd be happy to give it a try when I get home.  Given that we're allowed to script and write robots for the site I can't imagine why an anonymous connection would be a problem.
Tor works. It's the only way I can access PD in Singapore.
I used Google dns 8.8.8.8 to unblock PD. I'm not sure how is this possible but it works. Give it a try. In the Bitcoin world, as long as you aren't going to a website that offers you free stuff, they won't block Tor. Cloudflare doesn't like tor though.
7408  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining on: April 04, 2015, 02:31:10 PM
I would like to form a brand new pool or design one. Would we have to group up on here? and what is a average difficulty?

You're going to need amass about 3 Peta Hashes (about the equivalent of 3000 AntMiner S5s) worth of miners to score blocks more than once a day.
No. That is only if you are solomining. If you are pool mining, you just need people with good hashrates.

Making a pool is hard. You have to attract people with great marketing scheme and features. People won't go to you if you have low hashrates, ugly and glitchy UI or frequent downtimes. You need ddos protections and various servers around the globe. You have to get big fundings to make a pool that would truly attract others. You are better off joining an existing pool. If you want to learn about Bitcoin, surf around the forums and YouTube.
7409  Other / Meta / Re: Please remove the Digital Goods section on: April 04, 2015, 02:24:04 PM
There are plenty of people offering legitmate goods such as legitimate software keys with proof of authenticity, bitcointalk accounts and game accounts. If you were to remove the section, it would be unfair for people who sell legitimate things. You could give a negative trust to warn people but you can't ask a mod to remove it unless you have proofs.
7410  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Paid per post on: April 04, 2015, 02:17:14 PM
I think this thread is the perfect example why paid per post won't work large scale.  If you look at it there are 4 pages of not a whole lot.  Sure some from each side.

But does this thread bring knowledge that others will benefit from?  Not really.  Should it be locked at this point instead of going on and on? Chances are yes.

But that is just my opinion.  I still think it's better with smaller campaigns then full forum paid per post.
I agree with your point. An easy solution would be to employ people to check posts one by one and use pay per rank instead of post. I have seen various people posting pointlessly and for example, spammers can just makes comments like "this is a great tutorial , I have made lots of money thanks!" And would still be paid for the post. The main reason for this would be because the signature campaign is operated using a bot to check post or signature owners just looks at the topic and judges the relevance of the post. No matter how many people claims that the "tutorial" doesn't work or is a scam. The poster could have just elaborated on the point instead of just posting that it "works".
7411  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A Simple guide for newbs to make BTC! on: April 04, 2015, 02:11:11 PM
....You use the exchange to turn the Doge/lite coins into btc....It saves you the trouble of having to find someone on the forum, and you can set it to automatically exchange them into btc, so it's fairly hands free. Yes there is a referral link, Do i not deserve some sort of credit for assisting new members / new bitcoin users ?. I believe i am. Especially if it's a stepping stone into making alot of BTC.

The more coins you mine, The more btc you can make, then you can rent bigger rigs, and get way more coins..then eventually you'd be making 100's maybe even thousands at some point down the road.

Also, I'm only saying they should store their Altcoins ( Doge/Lite ) on the exchange. By all means, send all your btc to your personal wallet.
They do charge a 0.001 fee for withdrawing BTC. So as long as you're withdrawing more than that it gets sent immediately and shows up after a few confirmations.
It is very hard to even make even 0.001 in a month for faucets. I'm a bit skeptical about your process since faucets tends to generate only small amount of income and betarigs have really overpriced miners for rent. The cost of most of them would be more than what you can earn from an multipool. If not, it makes no sense for one to rent their rigs instead of mining for themselves.
7412  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 1TH/s mining power in today's world, April-2015 on: April 04, 2015, 01:21:03 PM
Hi every body.
It is said that talk to a expert and it is worth than reading book for 1 year.
So, guys, Can any body guess, with mining power of 1000GH/s, what will I be able to earn in today's time of April-2015, regardless of energy consumption. I just wanted to know, How much time, it will take to earn 1 BTC, if miner stays running 24/7.
Also, It will be a great help, If some one can mention, What is the best pool for a miner of 1TH/s? which is considered good in every aspect.

No you can't figure it out without energy comsumption as far as profit.  You can go here and do some ROI - https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/calculator

A lot depends on your electricity price.  What price is your electricity?

*looks like i was beat to post.

But also google bitcoin pool comparsion you will find out different types, and also see big and small ones.  It's kinda a personal preference to what you pick.
Some pools have high fees which can result in a deduction of part of your payout. There are also several benefits over different payout schemes. For example, PPS can be better than PPLNS if a block withholding attack happens. But if there will not be any attacks, PPLNS would surely offer lower fees.

funny thing is that all this taking into account that he have free electricity

one s5 cost about 1.5 bitcoin(best price so probably more), this mean you need 225+(250-300 if we count the diff) days to roi(with free electricity)...sound ridiculous

Don't forget the cost of a psu, he'll need one to run his S5.
Yeah, even in a hypothetical situation with free electricity, low difficulty increases and a free miner, it will still take months to get a 1 bitcoin profit, it's like $1.50 a day profit.
With a 1.5 btc outlay and a perfect situation, it would take a year to get the miner paid for, is anyone willing to bet that there aren't better miners available in one year?

Which leads to the question, why does anyone (except the big farms) buy miners???
Free electricity, cheap used ASICs and heater. People can still make some profits if one has a great deal and low electrical rates.
7413  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining on: April 04, 2015, 01:08:49 PM
Kind of both. Is a pool like a group or what? And yes i am trying to set up workers or figure out how it works. What I am trying to do is see it from the server side a little bit to better mine.
Yes. Pool operators create the back and front-end for many miners to join the pool to combine their power to mine a block together. The Pool will send you a work to solve and once it is solved, your miner will send the solution (proof of work) back to the pool to indicate that you are contributing. Once someone solves a block, everyone will then be paid for the amount of work they have contributed. The more hashpower the pool has, the faster it will solve blocks. It is pretty hard to solve blocks without ASIC headwares or rather, a farm of them. There are various payment schemes for pools, all of them here https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Comparison_of_mining_pools. The most common one is PPLNS, it is the most effective at stopping pool hoppers. Setting up a pool isn't easy since everything need to be audited and designed well to attract users.

OP, why don't you sell your account instead?
There are scammers who would use a stolen account to scam people or to spam non-constructive posts. He probably did not want his reputation to go down the drain and risk the reputation.

What does he care about that if he wanted to delete the account in the first place? I think that someone stole his account and now is trying to delete it.
He may be conscious about his own reputation. If he only decide to delete the account on BTC and if it can be linked to himself in real life or online, he would have a hard time trying to prove his innocence if the account gets negative trust down the road.

All you can do is talk with them and get them to remove it. Trust is not moderated.
that 1 guy left bitcointalk and the other one doesn't reply  Undecided

anyways, I am allowed to inform every user of bitcointalk about this false trust and everyone is allowed to give those persons a negative trust because he accused me of things I didn't do?
Yeah sure but people would side EcuaMobi since what he said was absolutely right. As Michell said, trust is not moderated so admins can't do anything. If someone in the default trust abuses the trust, they would get removed immediately. However, people can still trust them by modifying their own trust list.

Also, you are abusing trust by accusing someone as a scammer even though he is pretty legit.
There has so be a reason for the negative trust he gave me. He might be giving negative feedbacks hoping to get btc in reward to remove it which is scamming. I'm just assuming as much as he is assuming. If someone gives me a negative feedback for something I didn't do I have to give a negative feedback back, sounds logic to me... giving a false feedback is not legit

and what he said is not right, I don't and nobody controls the wallet he's talking about and you can check this wallet for the rest of your life in the blockchain...
He left a neutral trust rating to advise people, not to point out that you are in fact a scammer. He didn't ask for any BTC in return for the removal of his feedback, I believe what you said is a daring assumption. Most of us here don't leave negative feedback to blackmail people since the person abusing trust would probably not be on default trust. If he is, once reported, the person will be removed and your trust will still be neutral.

Of course you won't be able to get your 0.0001BTC back. Why don't you ask an escrow to create an address for you and ask him to delete it so we would be SURE that you don't have the private key.

Bullcrap. Everyone started from newbies. Most of those with reasonable reputation dont make false claims or try to scam people.
