Nearly there...

Colorful B250 8 slot motherboard
G3930/8GB DDR4/128GB M2-SSD/Win10
7 x Sapphire Vega64, 1 x Gigabyte Vega64
2400w Delta server PSU
Cast XMR miner with power table registry mods, automation scripts for resetting each GPU prior to mining, etc.

Attempting to run this overnight to see how far can this puppy go...

762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nanopool now has an Electroneum pool! on: December 15, 2017, 03:59:26 PM
worst pool for electroneum, ever. period. imho
I've been there over then 4 days, and I saw I'm getting less like 10-15 coins less then on other pool, do not like it
the ridiculous 500 coins minimum  payment
no, thanks, there is much better alternatives

I've tried just about every Electroneum pool and nanopool is the most stable and reliable sofar.  I get paid within 2hrs of reaching my payment threshold every time without issue.
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [GUIDE][AMD][NVIDIA][CPU,GPU][ETN]How to Mine ⚡Electroneum + Miners Downloads⛏ on: December 14, 2017, 04:38:47 PM
Hash rate between 700 H/sec and 1.4k.  I've gotten a total of 313.01.  In the last 24 hours 8.86 ETN.  Seems pretty minuscule for a 6-GPU Rig + CPU mining on other machines.
What kind of a 6-gpu rig produces only 700-1400 H/s? That doesn't sound right.

I'm not saying that sounds right... I agree, it does not.  I'm only reading what I see at Hashparty.io after looking at their stats for me.  When I look at the GPU Rig itself, I see:

XMR: GPU0 381 H/s, GPU1 384 H/s, GPU2 385 H/s, GPU3 381 H/s, GPU4 376 H/s, GPU5 385 H/s

So - that would be more like 2,292 H/s

It's not like that for Ethereum, it is WAY higher.  This is just how it runs against XMR, I'm guessing.  For Ethereum each one is nearing 600 as I recall.

It is a 6-Rig, RX580

6 RX 580 should give you more than 2.292 H/s.....

My 6 RX 580 nitro + 8g

Miner Version.......: 10.2 - XMR
Miner Uptime........: 981 Minutes.
Pool use............: etn-eu1.nanopool.org:13433
Hashrate Total......: 4913 H/s.

You should be able to get 700h/s from 580's easy.  So its more like 4200H/s for a 6GPU rig.

Still no GPU Workload toggle for RX Vega it seems

AMD Claims you don't have to toggle compute for Vega, but who really knows unless you test old compute drivers against current ones.

umine 570 gh / s bsod 337 gh / s network hash 1.5 Th / s
Where is the pool 600 gh / s Huh

its divided up into smaller 10-200 Gh pools.

So I have been able to get this running on my 11 4GB XFX RX 470s, I have one 6 card system and one 5 card system. On both I seem to get about 9% of my shares rejected because of "out of date job change". Is there no resolution to this? 9% is not a small amount either. This is well after 24 hours of straight mining. I get an 865 hash rate from each card 9% of that times 11 is over 870 H\s. In a sense I would be better off moving to a slower mining software with no fee or 100% accepted shares. Is there anyone that has this issue and has found a solution?

So was this the software just straight up stealing shares and reporting them as "lost because of job change" or is there a huge bug when the software switches to the donation pool to get its 2% cut? Either way this is an FYI to everyone be prepared to lose anywhere from 9% to 15% in shares because "Out of date job change" AND the dev fee of 2% this dev decided to include.

IMO fix your shares lost issue or remove the DEV fee.

Probably just your connection to where ever you are mining. Most i've seen is 5% loss.

Hi guys.
I'm mining with nanopool.org, around 3 days.
I mined 1500 ETN, they did not reply to me since yesterday and i can't reward my coin to my wallet.

What can i do??

My wallet: etnjzkfu6ogesskrzzbdqrapdckvxec17cm1xvbyy76parqmmgrgceh4krah6xmjkwj3htsakuyfm1b bwyqtchtq9tbap8qr4m
My payment ID:43be26bbec4b7ff265ebaa116f95a50bbe792968dd0a1aee04031ce95b3f4df2

Regards

If you search your payment ID you can see you've mined to two different wallets.  Contact their ETN support email and they will moves the funds you want to the proper wallet that you are mining to currently.  Just give them all your info and they will help you out.  Might take up to a week to get a response.  Took me 3 days.
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How can I find my bottle neck on: December 12, 2017, 06:34:49 PM
Bought a new setup. G3900 cpu, 4gb ram and a 6x RX580s

Flashed bios and added some small clocks

I get 30mhs on 2 cards when alone in the machine.

Once I add another 2 cards,  all drop back to 27.

I am using claymore,  ethos and have a 1300W PSU

Anybody else had similar? How can I check if im bound by cpu or memory?

How is everything powered?  Do you have 4 risers on one molex/sata cable or something similarly stupid?
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Cast XMR] high speed XMR/CryptoNight miner for RX Vega GPUs (2 KHash/s) on: December 12, 2017, 06:16:23 PM
With Claymore 10.2 Beta i have +200H/s on 17.12.1. Today is a happy day, eth  price is incrasing, plus hashrate and i didnt have to work today.Smiley

+200 compared to what?  Total hashrate?
1 Vega64 on 17.11.4 1050H/s with Claymore 10.2 BETA. Cast XMR freeze my system for some reason...  I am trying to set it up for nanopool eu server, with not so much luck.

1050H/s for Vega 64? Are you saying that your hash rate before that was only ~800 H/s?

No Man. 1050 was with 17.11.4. Now with 17.12.1 its 1250

What are you even doing, you should be getting 1900 H/s with Vega 64.
771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Burned 18 AWG Wire And 8-Pin VGA GPU Power Connectors on: December 12, 2017, 06:10:31 PM
Moral of the story don't use shitty adapters on your rigs that are running full load 24/7.  If the adapter is questionable at all... don't use it.

My hash should be over 600MH\s but this BSOD pool shows just 17MH\s Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh
Restared all my miners, and I talked to others, same problem.

Use the other port.  This pool has issues so just find a new one.

Very cool project but Pool is not useful , Dev team have to create own pool

Dev's creating a pool would do nothing to stop DDOS attacks
hey gus, so I did mine BWK on blockSuckerNation last night for about 5 hours before my miner crashes, now when I search for my address it doesn't display anything

Is there any other way to check my earnings ? Anybody has experience mining on this pool ?

Took them 15hrs to find a block so you probably got nothing.  Use a pool that finds blocks quickly, not a shit pool.

Long block times for a pool doesn't mean it's a "shit pool" as you so eloquently put it, it just means there are less miners on that pool than the rest of them. Minertopia, for instance. Fantastic pool, highly professional operator, no fee's on launch, but everyone went to other pools and paid a 2% fee for no reason.

The reason people left is because they want a pool that finds more than 1 block a day and not worry about not getting paid for 6hr+ old shares that just get thrown in the trash.

I'm getting better results on this pool for ETN http://ocukminingpool.com/# 0.2% fee too!

Better results? only 3 blocks found and last one was 8hrs ago... ok

I want to download this program from OP Download Cast XMR 0.7 for Windows (64bit), but ESET antivirus blocks my access to the page. I want to try it. Can you put it on mega.nz or google? I'll be glad, thank you.

Put an exception rule for the website in your antivirus?

I am having a problem with cast-xmr klatest version ) which mines at only 3100 h/s whereas claymore reaches 7400 h/s on the same system....

Win10 64 uptodate
6 Sapphire RX580 cards with modified BIOS
4 MSI RX580 cards with modified BIOS
AMD driver 17.11.2 (Blockchain beta drivers not working for me because only upto 8 cards supported)

Any ideas?
I'll give you a hint.
Your answer is in the title of this thread.
It's a bit hidden, I'll admit, but it's one very specific word you're looking for.

I'll help.
It's located between the words RX and GPUs.

It supports 580's just fine.  You should be able to get 700-1k h/s on each depending on how well you can memstrap and OC it.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Nanopool now has an Electroneum pool! on: December 10, 2017, 05:52:43 PM
my results have been completely terrible with this pool.

mined it probably for 2 hours with 5400 h/s: 3.8 electroneum

fucking terrible. now i'm stuck on here until 1000? geez

How are you stuck when you only got 2hrs on the pool? Difficulty skyrocketed anyway so might as well jump ship while you can.

I use windows 8.1 in my rigs with beta blockchain dag fix driver. The official blockchain does not have windows 8.1 support. I tried cast xmr and it says ''blockchain compute driver not detected'' So how can I fix it?

Use windows 10.  You can mine on it for free.
