Do you know of a website or etc that can determine if addresses come from the same wallet?

I'd be interested to know if something like that exists yet too.
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCP] Counterparty - Pioneering Peer-to-Peer Finance - Official Thread on: April 14, 2015, 02:38:43 PM
Is there a list of Counterparty projects?
763  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Privacy Question on: April 14, 2015, 02:35:13 PM
I don't think it'll make any difference to receive BTC using either wallets. If you wish not to be linked to the addresses, your best bet is to install a 3rd wallet client or create an online account just to receive the coins. You can use addresses generated by the 3rd wallet for inbound transactions only.

What's the best online account to use?

blockchain.info, you can add a mixer for more privacy but you will not get 100% anon

a good strategy for a good anonimity, would be to start with an amount that is already splitted among many adresses

then you proceed with the usual ramification

And blockchain.info has a built-in mixer-esque utility called SharedCoin (or maybe it's SharedSend, I get them mixed up).
764  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Privacy Question on: April 14, 2015, 02:34:08 PM
I'm sure you mean address not wallet

So, in this case ask sender send to address #3
The sender won't know about address #1 & #2

The wallet/address distinction is important here.  If the 3 addresses referenced above are in the same wallet, there exists the possibility that they will be linked when spending coins in the wallet.

Has anyone used bitcoin.tax?  Is there anything better out there?
766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IPO of MaidSafe:  Entering the Future of the Decentralized Internet on: April 13, 2015, 08:54:23 PM
hi, congrats for the project, i m reading and ipo was for about 500 milions maidsafe, but in poloniex only  1.127.284 available for trade ... strong holders hands have the other 499 milions? are more exchanges trading maid? or how his the selling price for maid ?
what value will has safecoin inside the maid net?
MAID is also traded at https://masterxchange.com/market.php?currency=maid

I think there was 413m coins in the IPO which will represent 10% of the total SAFEcoins. At this point most people are holding, yes.

Does anyone know when the completed project will be released?

Literally no one knows that.
767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Storjcoin X (SJCX) - A Coin for Decentralized Cloud Storage on: April 13, 2015, 06:40:25 PM
41,469,270 SJCX are the coins currently in circulation. There are 500,000,000 SJCX and they have all been generated and the asset locked. Means that no more can be created. The remaining 350 million are idle at the moment until it is decided what to do with them.

Any news on what will be done with the remaining coins?  Also can anyone help me reconcile the 3 numbers above?
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Storjcoin X (SJCX) - A Coin for Decentralized Cloud Storage on: April 13, 2015, 06:36:00 PM
Will Storj also use a blockchain of its own?  If so, will it be a sidechain to Bitcoin or totally separate?

Bear with us on that one, we haven't made a decision yet.

Any progress on this?

Any new projects being built on Counterparty?

Can you tell me which Round 1 projects distributed tokens and on what date they were distributed?
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SOFTWARE SALE LIVE] Factoid - The Software Token For The Factom Network on: April 13, 2015, 03:46:52 PM
#1 Will any Factoids exist before 5/15 besides those sold in the crowdsale?

#1. The genesis block of the Factoids (to be released post May 15th) will contain all Factoids from the software sale, early contributor and early sale pool participants as described in percentages on the Factom Koinify profile: https://koinify.com/#/project/FACTOM

So to answer the question directly. No. The genesis block will contain all Factoids that will be valid in the protocol and they will come into existence at the same time, no Factoids (beyond for testing purposes) will be created before the Factoid Chain is released.

Thank you for your answers, they were very helpful.  Could you help me understand the percentages referenced above?  If I'm understanding it correctly, the Koinify website says 50% of the genesis block Factoids will come from the public sale, 20% from the early private sale, and 30% from endowments to insiders.  Does this mean that if 10 million Factoids are sold during the public sale, that number will be doubled to 20 million for the genesis block?

I thought the Round 1 projects did distribute tokens.  Is that incorrect?

It sounds like you guys are taking a very unique approach to solving this problem.  Have any particulars been published online?
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [announce] Namecoin - a distributed naming system based on Bitcoin on: April 11, 2015, 09:04:52 PM
Are there any projects under development which utilize Namecoin besides OneName?
775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCP] Counterparty - Pioneering Peer-to-Peer Finance - Official Thread on: April 11, 2015, 08:08:58 PM
How much overlap exists between the functionality provided by Factom and that provided by Counterparty?
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SOFTWARE SALE LIVE] Factoid - The Software Token For The Factom Network on: April 11, 2015, 07:58:12 PM
Will any Factoids exist before 5/15 besides those sold in the crowdsale?

Will any Factoids be created after 5/15 besides the annual 10% emission?

Will there be a cap on the total number of Factoids or will the annual emission continue into perpetuity?

Will Factoids be available to trade on the open market after 5/15?

Does Factom the organization hold any Factoids, or will they?

How will Factom provide for off-chain transactions?

How much overlap exists between the functionality provided by Factom and that provided by Counterparty?
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SWARM] Swarm - Cryptoequity Crowdfunding - Official Thread on: April 11, 2015, 07:42:21 PM
Thanks for your response.  How is that different from what Swarm did with the Round 1 participants?

Will SWARM holders automatically receive a portion of the crowdsale coins from each of the projects in Round 2?
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SWARM] Swarm - Cryptoequity Crowdfunding - Official Thread on: April 11, 2015, 01:22:22 PM
Could you tell us more about this great stuff?

As far as I know, BTCD is the primary/base currency used in SuperNET and InstandDex for transaction fees, trading etc. BBR is just a currency which can be used within SuperNET e.g. instant trading of BTCD/BBR.

How is BBR used within SuperNET (and InstantDex)?  I'm confused on how the roles of BBR and BTCD differ there.

jl777 says above BBR will be the "anon onramp and offramp" for SuperNet:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=762346.msg10995352#msg10995352

Which is I thought what BTCD was.
BTCD is the highway

So SuperNet uses BBR and BTCD, and InstantDex uses only BTCD?

Is BTCD always used in SuperNet operation while BBR is optional?
