It's 1+ Satoshi or nothing.
That's the goal, right. Then it will go up further, because it is on the radar for the "mainstream"-investors and -traders again. Most of them are trading against BTC, as it seems.

Mooncoin needs some traffic from a respectable activity instead of just feeding Cryptsy...
The next thing will be the new wallet. If anybody is here, who has a script-idea for a Mooncoin-bounty-board, let's see it.

MOON on Cryptsy still at 10 Litoshi - with little volume today. I wonder when it will finally go up. It is underbought at the moment, as it seems - with only those little mining rewards pouring in. And the mining-reward is going down shortly again.

Or we should engage the Ghostbusters now ...
Professor Lupin, Defence Against The Dark Arts teacher probably would help if it were not that Moon is what he fears most. Especially today. Full Moon... This night he will be offline, for sure. I saw a really nice full Moon yesterday.

It is a must there is a sure.. Then just sell all your Mooncoins to let this come true - and for us to get more cheap coins ... It is not me or them. This is a paranormal activity seen in every exchanges Strange, can we not ask the authorities to prohibit this horrible behaviour ...? Selling Mooncoin ... tststs ... ... that simply does not work ... Or we should engage the Ghostbusters now ...

MOON on third position in XRP-market - right behind BTC and LTC, ahead of DOGE -, and fourth position in LTC-market on Cryptsy. I'd say, that's nice. And it clearly shows the capabilities of Mooncoin regarding what to come in the future.

If you Sell 1 milion moon at 0,0000740xrp = 74,40 xrp If you Sell xrp at 541 = 0,1367LTC ergo 1milion moon = 0,0000001367
But my question was about the mentioned 15 LTC. I don't see any 15 LTC in your above calculation.
|
|
|
I Think that my calculation is 'correct moon now worth 15 LTC..in XRP market..
Don't understand what you mean exactly ... Do you mean 15 LTC or 15 Litoshi? How do you calculate that?
|
|
|
Actually moon/xrp 0.0000744. LTC/xrp 749 moon/LTC in xrp market = 0.0000744/749 =0.00000009933ltc
My calculation was: 1 LTC = ~749 XRP 1 LTC = ~9090909 MOON (at 11 Litoshi) so 1*749/9090909 = ~0,0000824 XRP as a realistic price for MOON to be sold for - if you relate to current XRP/LTC and MOON/LTC. If you'd like to buy MOON for Ripple, then the calculation was like this: 1 LTC = ~749 XRP 1 LTC = ~10000000 MOON (at 10 Litoshi) so 1*749/10000000 = ~0,0000749 XRP Right? Or an error in reasoning? Edit: XRP/LTC now 541 (buy) and 931 (sell), hence the calculations should be readjusted accordingly.

Only some days that Mooncoin will reach block 250.000 and reward per block halving ...now at block 246.292, difficulty rising to 11 !!!
Not exactly halving, but going down like this (from the initial posting of this thread): Block rewards: Blocks 1-100,000: 0-2,000,000 MOON Blocks 100,001-200,000: 0-1,000,000 MOON Blocks 200,001-250,000: 0-600,000 MOON Blocks 250,001-300,000: 0-350,000 MOON Blocks 300,001-350,000: 0-175,000 MOON Blocks 350,001-375,000: 0-100,000 MOON Blocks 375,001-384,400: 0-50,000 MOON So it is rather a reduction by ~42%, if I calculate right (175.000 vs. 300.000 MOON/block). But for the sake of simplicity, one could say "halving". Edit: Regarding calculations: Has anyone of you an idea, what would be a fair price for Mooncoin vs. Ripple (based on MOON/LTC), as there now is the new market for MOON/XRP on Cryptsy? How many Mooncoins should one be able to buy for one Ripple, respectively how many MOON are fair to sell for one XRP?

Nice picture - and thanks for the constant Mooncoin-promotion on twitter.

After informing www.cointweak.com, that we have a new block explorer, so that they have a new API to pull the relevant-data from, Mooncoin is back in their list as a top-ranking Scrypt-coin. Now we only have to solve the reward-problem, so that really ALL miners can get that shown profitability. great. by the way: did someone already inform coinwarz to update to the working block explorer etc.: http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/mooncoin-mining-calculatorI wrote them too: Hi, any idea, why I get the message "Warning: Mooncoin is no longer being monitored as of 9/11/2014. " on the Mooncoin-page? and "Unhealthy" as status? It is still alive/healthy. Check out www.moonchain.net (block explorer) and mooncoin.rocks (new site). But only got this: Hello,
That message indicates that CoinWarz.com is no longer hosting the Mooncoin client and is no longer monitoring any activity fro this cryptocurrency due to lack of an active BTC market for more than 120 days.
Thanks!
CoinWarz Support Edit: I then answered this: But you know, that MOON still is one of the coins with huge volume, even if in LTC?? More than most of the small BTC-traded-ones. Just check out Cryptsy. But got no response anymore.

that last statement is kind of retarded but i fully support you, based on that the apple symbol would still be the multi coloured one - ( hey maybe you are right?) - and the Windows symbol woudl be the 3.1 design. but i don't think it really matters at this stage of moon's life cycle. the code obviously needs maintenance, but in the same sense it still functions so?... Have you looked at the designs he's linking? Those aren't slightly overworked original ones, like the ones you mentioned as a reference. I did not say in any word, that we cannot overhaul the original-logo sometime, but a completely new logo NOW, only in the hope of "saving" Mooncoin?? So please read my postings in the way they are meant, before calling them retarded. We only speak about this time, not the time three years from today. To illustrate what I mean: Do you think Mercedes-Benz would abandon their three-pointed-star-logo completely, only to signal, that they have a new line of cars ...? A logo can be maintained (edit: /overhauled), too, of course. But a completely new one? Would you recommend that to Apple, Microsoft or Mercedes-Benz? Edit: Btw: I'm not even sure, if those logos are made by him, or if he only gathered them from the internet, which could lead to licensing issues, too, if the creators are not involved. Just saying. Edit 2: Only to illustrate the difference between a completely redesigned logo and an overhauled one, check out gjhiggins' one, here: https://github.com/mooncoin-project/mooncoin-landannThis is something I could imagine (only the graphical-work could be better, so that we could have the 3D-appearance of the centered moon-surface again). In combination with communicating that this is only a temporary change to celebrate something, this is even more appealing. We could revert back to the original one afterwards. But this would have to be a concerted action and every place, that uses the old logo, would have to be informed twice, to change the logo. And we would have to issue two wallets with different logos. What I was suggesting to gjhiggins when he was working on the landann-wallet-experiment, was to implement a function, that the user himself can use the graphic, he'd like to have in his wallet. That way he/she could, for example, choose from the graphics gogotan is linking, or from any other source, so even could set a picture of his/her beloved into the wallet, just like some do in a physical wallet. By that, the wallet could be kind of "personalized". Maybe that could be the way to go ...? Only an idea. In the end still the real question is, if a new design will outweigh the loss of brand-recognition in terms of "good things" to happen. There are many new coins with completely new appearances popping up to the surface every day. If the tag "new" was as good as it is perceived by many, they should take the cryptoworld by storm, right?

Says the one, who wanted to reduce the rewards by half back then: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=389403.msg6864609;topicseen#msg6864609https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=389403.msg8974003;topicseen#msg8974003 We have to maintain the code gently, in order to prevent miners cheating, and even out bugs, which will further add to the good reputation of Mooncoin. Only one who doesn't care about the miners, can really be against this. And we need good miners, as every other PoW-coin does. Regarding changing the appearance, others have already mentioned above, why we should keep from changing it: brand-recognition. If MOON doesn't make it with its inherent values, it already has and represents, it won't make it with a new design either.
