Developers says that These forks are meant for improvement and upgrading bitcoin with some new features, to deliver better experience than before.
Don't know whether they actually want to provide better experience or just want gain the market cap fro the BTC users.
Segwit2x is in talk from a long time. A bunch of developers and crypto-expert support it while some other criticize it. Lets see how investors and BTC users react to it.

I don't think that it is distributing any money. Distribution of wealth means that all will get equal amout of wealth irrespective to his/her social or financial status.
Perhaps it is wealth Creation system like stock market. One can earn as much as he can using his analytical skills, talent and innovation.

I don't think these developers want to hijack BTC market. They are just trying to bring some new positive changes in BTC blockchain so that quick and best services can provided to its users. Users have a keen eye on upcoming Fork segwit2x, lets see how investor react to this forks. Hope it bring some positive and remarkable changes.

Decentralization is the main reason why I and many others are using BTC. It keeps BTC away from global politics. Influential and rich people always try to control a countries economics for his/her personal benefits, but it can't be possible in BTC system. BTC system totally works on demand-supply theory.

I don't think Google will ever adopt Bitcoin as their official currency to pay for their services. If they ever want to adopt crypto as a payment, they will surely like to make their own crypto-currency or tokens. Other sites except those are related to crypto-world, don't want pay in BTC coz of its price fluctuation.

People all around the world have trust on Stock market. Due to set regulation and control of the govt. over the stock market, this give investors confident to invest in shares. A listed company on stock exchange can't be a scam because of govt control on it whereas it is seen that most of the ICO's are scam. Also crypto, being decentralized there is no rules and regulation on it so there can be a lot of price fluctuation within a few hours without being any seller or buyer freeze.

Be carefull coz as history tells that BTC price always get corrected once it touches its all time high.

YES...BTC is more secure to than the banking system. It is impossible to hack Blockchain and even BTC transaction is quite fast and reliable.
On the other hand, Bank servers are slow & it is seen that hackers hacks payment gateway, transaction amount does not reach to its destination.

In my opinion, You should hold BTG as price is too low now but it is expected to increase by end of DEC'17.
Fork coins does not get much benefits, investors want BTC to remain in its original form and does not want much garbage on BTC blockchain.
Bitcoin cash price has also recovered quite surprising from last week so we can expect other BTG price will also get recover soon.

We can't really determine BTC fair value coz its value depend upon what buyer want to pay for it. Due to limited supply and increasing demand BTC value seems to be increasing day by day. There is no set rules and regulations that can fix price cap on it so every price is fair for BTC.

I voted for Trading. As Bitcoin is breaking all price records everyday...Many new investors are coming in this market on daily basis, on the other hand, Many are selling BTC to book the profit. So trading is the best source to earn BTC and it also increases the circulation of BTC in open market.

Its good to hear that....Generally it is seen that age and risk are inversely proportional to each other. Old people usually like to invest in such schemes which can give them regular and stable return. They don't like to take much risk.
It seems like your mother either want to play investment gamble with some spare money she have or she might have quite good faith upon BTC growth.
