761  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Fee Settings on: May 06, 2023, 08:36:34 AM
You can check mempool.space for how much you need to pay/confirmation time and then click on the button below the close button to edit the fees to whatever amount you want to.
762  Other / Archival / Re: Current list of exchanges without KYC on: May 06, 2023, 08:22:18 AM
I am using Kucoin and no KYC required yet. People can be thinking that Kucoin may require KYC later because of the regulatory pressure. Some weeks ago, Kucoin was unable to meet the regulatory requirements in Canada and they are no longer able to provider exchange service to Canadians.

I wouldn't expect Kucoin to do that without announcing it in advance. They're not that strict.

I know a few people who used the exchange from restricted countries, and Kucoin still allowed them to withdraw their funds when they detected that.
763  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bisq - Exchange, Decentralized. on: May 05, 2023, 07:56:08 PM
BISQ announced earlier today that they're soon going to implement the lightning network[1]. Maybe Bitcoin Ordinals is what we needed to push services to adopt LN.

764  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kollider - a "Lightning native" exchange on: May 05, 2023, 01:25:39 PM
Went to go take a look, poked around and got the 'you are coming from a restricted IP' message. And then went to other sites, in other tabs, to do other things.
Left that tab open in FireFox and after a few minutes it was using a stupid high amount of CPU and my laptop fan was on full. Closed that tab and all was good.

Anyone else seeing it? Since I can't use it I'm not going to dig into it, but I have replicated it.
Could be them or it could be one of my browser extensions.

-Dave

Yes, it looks like the U.S and sanctioned countries are not allowed to use their services. Definitely not what you would expect from an open-source project but I guess this is what happens when you're backed by investors.

Residents or citizens of some countries are restricted from using the Services or owning or using Digital Assets, including any residents of the United States of America and any residents in any of the countries listed on the U.S.A Office of Foreign Assets Control Sanctions List here: https://home.treasury.gov/policy-issues/financial-sanctions/sanctions-programs-and-country-information.
765  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kollider - a "Lightning native" exchange on: May 05, 2023, 11:50:06 AM
So I just checked the project again and it looks like the wallet has been released to Chrome, Firefox, and Brave.

They need to work on the UI/UX more but it's functional.

You can deposit BTC on-chain, LN as well as their synthetic stablecoins which you can read more about here now that they have updated the site[1].

I still haven't tried the exchange yet but it looks like they have around ~50K $ volume per day.

I appreciate all your effort to help me and clarify me question that keep bugging my head.
About fees , there are fees to buy BTC or Ether , sell them for Eur/USd and even transfer them to a wallet right ?

The user above has already answered the question but if your goal is to eliminate as much fees as possible then going with P2P platforms might be best.

You should use something that has free transfers, like Wise or Revolut. Add to that the free escrow fees that Binance and some other providers have... you will then end up only paying withdrawal fees.
767  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: تسريع المعاملات on: May 05, 2023, 08:13:17 AM

https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/blocks/btc

768  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin network fee´s insanly high at the moment! on: May 04, 2023, 03:29:23 PM
That's pretty low but I guess it's still sustainable because I would imagine they're batching transactions like every CEX out there. So instead of processing your withdrawal individually, they process multiple withdrawal requests at once (in one transaction).

$0 - $49.99 = $0.5 fee
$50 - $99.99 = 1% fee
$100+ = $2 fee

And that's not the case with the non-custodial wallets you mentioned.

This should still not be a reason for you to use Noones to store your money though. Paxful suspended withdrawals and blocked some users from accessing their funds when they shut down. The same could happen with Noones or any other CEX. So you shouldn't be using them as a personal wallet.
769  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Is there a way to downgrade Electrum android wallet on: May 04, 2023, 11:24:14 AM
I don't really use the android version so I couldn't tell you whether that's possible to achieve or not but you should be able to downgrade if you want.

Here you have a list of all previous versions (see the APKs): https://download.electrum.org/
770  Local / العربية (Arabic) / تسريع المعاملات on: May 04, 2023, 11:02:59 AM

Thank you sir! I got it and completely understand it. My only concern is if i want to buy more crypto or any other crypto with euros/usd , which platform should i use ? I know ledger has Ledger live , but a friend of mine has a Ledger for stocking and he's buying crypto from Kraken . He said that it was cheaper to buy from Kraken than Ledger Live that time. How can i know that or check that?

Another friend of mine uses only Binance for example.

I want to secure my crypto with the ledger wallet but i'd like more to know from which app to buy my crypto and then propably send them to my ledger?!?!

Ledger Live seems to be using Moonpay[1] so I would imagine that they might be charging users a bit more.

As for your second question, then any decent exchange should allow you to withdraw your funds to your ledger or any other wallet. And from what I understood from your last post, that should also include Revolut. Now whether they charge more or fewer fees than other exchanges, I'm not sure.

In addition to Kraken, you should also look into Coinbase.

773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTCUSA.com is live!! 🔥 plz rate it from 1-10 🙏 on: May 03, 2023, 09:06:31 PM
Thanks! yeah, all from bitcointalk since i haven't started a paid marketing yet, but it's on my to-do-list, i have registered for an account here back in 2017 but wasn't active at all. btw, since you are a staff here, could you give me some info about marketing on bitcointalk? i will be interested Smiley

Since the forum no longer sells ads slots, you can do signature campaigns like some other services do: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0

But I'm not sure if you could achieve the same results as these services if you're going only going to profit from placing ads in your site?
774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTCUSA.com is live!! 🔥 plz rate it from 1-10 🙏 on: May 03, 2023, 05:11:32 PM

I have started working on SEO & it will be improved everyday as time passes, I was checking the visitors & i have to say that i am very happy seeing about 100 visitors on daily basis, not a bad start for a the first week!
-snip-

That's pretty good considering that you've only launched a couple of days ago. Is it all organic search traffic? or it's mostly coming from bitcointalk?
775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need help with my crypto on: May 03, 2023, 10:08:12 AM
In Revolut i can only buy , sell and send crypto , i dont see an exchange option. So i should withdraw my crypto and invest them in an exchange crypto app ?

Can you withdraw your crypto is what I'm asking. if you can withdraw or send your crypto to your personal wallet, then I don't see any harm in using them. But if they don't, then you should switch to a proper exchange instead. Sell your crypto to fiat, and use it to buy the coin you want in Coinbase for example, and then withdraw that to your personal wallet.
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need help with my crypto on: May 03, 2023, 09:47:45 AM
Can you withdraw the funds from the account? If you can only buy/sell and transfer them to other Revolut users, then no, you shouldn't keep buying from there. Instead, use an exchange, and withdraw to your personal wallet.

778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the transaction fee and mempool congestion increasing ? on: May 03, 2023, 07:50:42 AM
AFAIK, it's related to Bitcoin ordinals[1]. If you're transacting on a regular basis, then maybe it's better to try and stick to the lightning network for now.

Bybit on: May 02, 2023, 08:11:19 PM

First, a baybit, now an okx, the last hope for kucoin and huobi remains, the rest of the exchanges are already of a lower rank, and their functionality is poorer.

I could be wrong but I think this has something to do with them moving to Dubai. Both Bybit and OKX received a provisional license to operate in Dubai last year and just a couple of weeks ago Bybit announced opening their HQ in Dubai, and then they required KYC shortly (a couple of days) after. So it's very possible that OKX is preparing for the same thing.
