Hallo allemaal!

Solar panels look to me a good investment but even this can not be done in my situation
Since in the local governement agreement is a rule that you may not install these without permission of them and they do not allow antenna's or solar panels which would need placement on roofs or garden in plain sight .... since that is impossible to dodge you can not get any of either a antenna for tv/radio ( they own a huge share in the biggest and only cable company)
or find any solar panels who can hide themselfs for the other people around us

Well i am new at bitcoins but to be honest i will not count my hardware since i already had these
But i would like to replace them for new so you might need to make a list of the money spend on the system
Now even if i would not count the hardware i have running now as a test on bitcoin, i currently wonder if it even is possible to not loose money on it.
Considering i live in the netherlands which has the biggest price on electricity, with a cost of 0.44 cent a Kwh its probably even not worth trying if i see what the current pool is showing me after some hours of running.
Now before someone starts babbling but on that or this site they say it is 0.23 cents a Kwh .... those are except the energy tax which has to be payed yearly and transport costs which is about another 0.09 cents extra and last and not least they count again another monthly fee for using the meter in the house ... these costs are separate from the normal bill
To make it even worse is that over these amounts they again make you pay 19% extra tax.
Guess who is gaining the most out of all this .... indeed the governements which are also the major share holders of those companies... profit in every way possible.

Omg
lol stop talk about paypal i closed it after i lost a lot of money because they protect the ones scamming you
Now you probably want to start saying but you can claim ..... YES indeed nothing to claim they had set it so that i bought a service in their rules now go and check what that means when the seller has done that ... yes your right your screwed no claims possible.
These days i hardly dare to buy on ebay and such since so many get scammed and loose lots of money.
People a selling so called very nice items so since they live to far away you need to pay them in advance.... guess what happens when you have payed.
Ofcourse you can go to the police and add yourself to the statistic list of unsolved and never looked at crimes.
Even legit companies are no longer safe why, what happened i ordered a nice kitchen and had to pay a large amount in advance else they would not accept the order.
So i ordered and payed the asked amount of 4100 euro in advance which was on 2 october 2004
The next day i read in the papers the company was declared  on 3 october bankrupt.
Should the sales persons have warned me .. i think yes they should have, can i get my money back ... no never.
Banks and taxes claim everything for themselfs leaving nothing for private persons thats how the world is today.

If i read this well its simply in no way profitable to run a miner either if it runs on a pool nor as solo miner
As for the site given it seem to me giving incorrect values for germany and netherlands those prices are pure based on the energy itself but we pay transport costs and new energy tax and also a monthly tax which is not calculated by that site in total my energy per Kwh is 0.44 euro cents.
So if i am reading it right in no way this bitcoin mining can be profitable for me, even if i bought a enormous system with 3 x 6990 cards into it ( which i never can afford).
It simply would never cover the costs of the system and the needed electra which such system eats is like 1200 Kwh or something similar

Haha, rip off Britain. Try 0.33$ per kwh over here in Germany.‚

GBP 0.14784 per kWh inc VAT
= 0.2334  USD

there's a reason its known as rip off britain

LoL i fear i live in the most insane country for electricity on the planet, germany is not far and i agree they pay a big price as well
But even though the actuall cost in my country is 0.44 eurocents /Kwh i live in the netherlands
Which is by far the most expenssive now somw will think the dutch are rich .... guess again i have to live from 40 euro a week cause the rest is eaten by governement taxes, the house and all kinda insurances like 320 euro health insurance and that while i have to pay my pills myself costing me another 55 euro a month

This looks promising Cheesy
I think i will test soon the BAMT as it seems very easy and seems to have all the goodies to see if all runs fine
768  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOWTO: create a 100% secure wallet on: October 02, 2011, 09:35:59 PM
Well i am using one of the most insecure operating systems on the planet .... what was it again .. oh yes windows Wink
But even though its leak like an open door on my house untill now i never ever had a problem with my security for lets see 12 years now.
So yes i take security not for granted and even though many have had issues with their os, i still can say never had an trojan or virus in these years take anything from me.
The most dangerous thing is using the cloud in a insecure way, like people trusting online storage and such or even gmail for that matter...
Nobody seems to see the risk in these and send files and very privacy related stuff to them just as easy as if its the most secure thing on the world
Hell on my wifes work for instance most people on the job still put stickers on the pc for the others so they can login.
They simply forget people walking in and out all the time ..
769  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: hot 5870 on: October 02, 2011, 09:22:17 PM
lol what is hot
I am had my fair share of running gpu's 24/7/365 and to be honest most people do tend to be over protective for the temps
Yes any hardware can die over time but what is the cause, well most of the time its actually people just touching the parts without earthing.
My 5870 now runs overclocked at 880 Mhz at 99% load for almost a year at between 80 to 88c max depending the temp outside ofcourse
But i did not even crank up the fan for it, it just runs on auto and does it all fine.
Now here comes the important thing i open the case about every 2 months and clean the case and the openings for ventilation on the card and especially make sure the fan itself gets cleaned well. Second in almost every case is a extra spot for a fan most of the time its for a 9 or 12 cm fan, This is in many cases in the top rear behind the spot where the cpu is.
I would advice all to use it and put that fan there and let it suck the air out the case. You will see it will have a good effect on the temps for your system
I use also allways msi afterburner because its a very good tool, another tip i can give is to lower the clock of the memory to half the normal speed which will lower the temps a lot in my case also. What this kinda software need is core speed, memory is not very important here mine runs at 880 core speed and 900 memroy since i use it also for other means
770  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: So how long does it take? on: October 02, 2011, 09:07:27 PM
spam posting to get to the real stuff is not very handy in my view
but since its a must ... sigh
771  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOWTO: create a 100% secure wallet on: October 02, 2011, 09:00:16 PM
I laughed my ass off it was fun

But lol they may steal my wallet.dat as much as they want ..... my 0.0 cents on it will not make anyone rich

At this moment after several hours i made lets see 0.01356885 cents with this rate i can see getting 1 btc will take about what ? a month or so with my hardware
so if i calculate it to my currency would give me lets see 0,00000 in my wallet now and probably in a month i think 3.5 euro cause that the value given for 1 BTC Cheesy

I hear people talk about earning hundreds of bitcoins but lol i guess they own a complete datacenter or what?
