I did plan for the down market, or at least,,, I thought I did. The first time was last year, when everything went down, I bought a few alts. But they crashed even more after I bought them, I held. Luckily December and January came and I everything recovered so much, so I was able to sell almost every alt for x2 price to recover capital. And whatever I had left I kept.

I bought more a few months later, but guess what? They all fell again. Except for Verge which I profited twice again.

Now holding the same alts I had, waiting for another recovery.

Not really. Remember when the bull run happened in 2017? The news was pretty bad. Bitcoin split. SegWit Crash. Bitcoin is dead. And then the hacks that happened. And the bans everywhere. Did not see Bitcoin price moving down.

And same this year. Bitcoin will bounce back, double bottoms reached, etc,,, and still we saw BTC touch new bottoms.

News has an effect, but if market moves, it goes where it wants to go.

Excellent point and this was why I liked Litecoin from the very beginning. Charlie Lee is a responsible developer and made his move transparent, ensuring there was no big holder. He probably caused the price to crash a little but in the long run this makes the coin viable in the market for proper price movement.

He promised a return to ATH of $300++ so,,, I can wait for that.

I wonder what happened to this project? Surfing for e-sports type crypto and came across so many including this. I guess the competition got so much that some projects had to fail,,, and this is just one sector, there are so many sectors with competing tokens.

I would strongly advise against just getting staking coins based on newly-launched and or cheap. It is so difficult to tell which coins are going to be good now, and I doubt any of the new PoS coins are really worthwhile.

If you want cheap that returns something, go for NEO. It does not stake but it gives out Neogas for holding, (a second token). Price of NEO is really low now so it is a good bargain if you missed out on it like I did.

Or even WAVES, cheap as hell now and can be leased for more gains.

Good advice, remember that you are in a way helpless when it comes to trusting a third party. Crypto is meant to be peer 2 peer, but we can't help, especially as newbies, to trust centralized services, especially exchanges that give us the only way to trade most crypto.

We trust ICOs,,, private blockchain tokens that we hope will have value. We trust exchanges,,, to keep our funds and honor our funds. So always be sure not to break the rules. Keep to the boundaries and you have the best chance.

Never say never is true indeed. We can say this for things like Bitcoin getting hacked,,, not impossible, but not going to happen,,, because will someone be so lucky to hit the jackpot with brute force? Maybe, but never happened and who is going to spend all that time and money to try? Those who already spent time and money have not been successful.

But will alts ever be more successful than Bitcoin? Maybe in 2050, but I should be dead by then since average life span in my country is 60+ Besides, price is not everything too.

I do not think anything was intentional. At least, as far as I always remember, whenever there are new popular games or apps, then we see a temporary increase in transactions and hence gas price,,, after that everything goes down to normal. I read also that it is caused by new exchanges doing "transaction mining" and also coin voting for new listing. You have to vote with sending ETH and it has to be above certain gas price, so of course people want to vote with 100 ETH accounts. So much abuse, all to create artificial volume.

Concept is not bad,,, but honestly, who really wants to share bandwidth? Internet is getting cheaper and cheaper everywhere and people already sort of know how to share or "steal" bandwidth. I would not want to share my small bandwidth even if I could get paid a bit for it. And there is also the problem that if everyone is secretly sharing bandwidth maybe some "free" spaces may be taken advantage of.

Sort of like how people used to steal library computers to mine crypto

Don't be so sure, my friends,,, I am hopeful as always but remember it was only two months ago in May 2018 when we also saw Bitcoin go up to past 7.5 k and it almost, nearly hit $10k. That was a good rally but everything went down back again to new lows. So let us just take it easy and be hopeful but at the same time realistic.

I agree with Binance at the moment here. I think it is always a good idea to trade on the biggest which is Binance at the present,,, but to always keep an eye out for the status of others. Like investment, I try not to trade at only 1 place, you just never know what can happen and if at least one exchange closes, you have still others to trade at.

Support speed is extremely important for me, also. In case of problems, you do not want to wait for weeks.
