ripple was based on the Trust chain model. For them it is a clusterFk, but for In-House it might just do the trick. A trust B. B trusts C and C trusts B. How does C trade with A?
So I hope the standard In-House custom is free escrow once a 'common' friendly link can be identified.
If the exchange grows and grows then maybe a move towards secured bonds (for the new guy) held by long standing fellows. The 'halo' model of BC/NXT is a good method too. And the EZ way --> parse it out. [in the end it will be whatever becomes that's the way it is done around here].
On the first one, Trust chain model, by default we can pledge / underwriting each other. I already have moved in that direction. So if I say Mr.X is cool for 5kg, and you can prove he did you wrong. Then I will cover your loss up to 5kg. Old school rules.

All gravitate to this Dynamic optimum state. But as a matter of principle and method of measurement -- I like -- distro determined by commonality criteria (your Third possibility). Give the coin to certain communities/tribes. Coins for boys. Coins for girls. Coins for fat people. Coins for teenagers. Coins for smart people. Coins for dumb people. Coins for robots/AI.

"dump it mate as quick as you can" ... they trade it all in for a coin 95% controlled by 10 accounts. Some will even kill you for a few scam coins (or 'whale coins' if you prefer). This distribution phenomena is hated when seen in fiat$ and Bullion. And it is universal in that realm. Crypto was going to solve this problem with FREE and FAIR money. Yeah, man. We could never really test it academically until now. Now you can earn a Ph.D researching what crypto has proven about money. FREE and FAIR money ends up ( very quickly) in the hands of just a few. conclusion: Fucking humans  MYTH BUSTED Note : I still advocate fair initial distribution, cuz gotta keep trying to live the dream. A few reasons that come to mind:
1: You're one of the rare persons I know that reveal his true identity on such a forum.
2: You expose yourself a lot in multiple threads with your name written all over it, including this one. You literally paint a target on your face.
3: You're rich. (That's annoying)
4: You're often right about things. (That's annoying)
5: You can be a little arrogant at times. (Super-combo)
6: Pictures of yourself in ridiculous situations. (Gift for the trolls).
7: You make self-moderated threads. (Moderation = NAZI on every forum, trolls will always use that card)
8: You support Monero, one of the most attacked altcoin currently, and present yourself as a whale and very active supporter.
9: You talk a lot in troll-boxes.
10: You often answer to trolls, and seriously.

BW needs to speak. Forget the forums. Just get a wordpress blog and post updates on the 10 coins he is leading. And I think we'd be willing to pay for a personal assistant to BW just take dictation and type it all up.
BK ... techwise 100% is dependent on BW ... all BK really needs to do is fine tune the Stabilizer bot and plug Nauti when he can, the way only he can do. (Dropping us a friendly line is assuring but not necessary). I am just as happy reading the market chart telegraph line as I am reading the forum.
