@galgoczi. It would be best for you if you do not use HitBTC. I have already heard many complaints specifically from the Monero community. They have marked that exchange as off limits from the last time I saw their reddit side panel.

I reckon no one can win an argument versus Roger Ver. The man is mentally sharp and he has a gift for manipulating the flow of the debate. Also, Samson Mow walked away from him from a panel because Samson knew he cannot win.
In any case, will it be shown live? The loser should also be required to jump off the boat hehehe.

Yes direct reason is that Goldman and Sachs are delaying launch of his crypto trading tool Lets see will bitcoin defend 6800$ and will rise again or we will go down Personally i think will be yet another attack on 7500$
Is that really the direct reason? There must be a better reason than that, I reckon. That reason also appears like it came from a small bitcoin news media site hehehe. Maybe this was a delayed dump that kept occuring every month after the CME's bitcoin futures expiry.

The altcoin subforum also needs more moderators. Everyone go there and try refreshing the page. The spam bumps are too much. If I start a new thread, it will be buried to the next page 1 minute after.

I am removing my application. Good luck to the campaign.

I vote for Spoetnik. Make him the moderator of the altcoin subforum hehehe.

Agreed. It might be more possible for Lewis to go to Ferrari to partner with Sebastian than Mercedes signing 2 star drivers hehe. I reckon Ferrari has done it before.

But what happened to the saying buy when there is blood on the streets? Would everyone not agree that this is the best time to buy while the public is skeptical?

Already September and it's a few months to the end of the year, the price is currently at $ 7300, we only have a possibility of a price increase in the range of $ 10,000, I speak of a possible approval of ETF on September 30 , but see that even if an ETF were approved on September 30, I do not believe the price would reach $ 20,000. no chance to see $ 20,000 this year. I think Tom Lee needs to give his arm to cheer that his price forecast is very exaggerated and has no chance of becoming a reality this year Tom Lee missed a point with Consensus 2018 correlation prediction... A lot of analysts failed their price prediction for this year, just see that a lot of them do not show their faces on the bitcoin news channels. Am I the only one becoming bullish in the forum? Whenever I bring up Tom Lee's prediction, everyone appears to be skeptical about it. Less bearish, but very skeptical. There is nothing negative or wrong with that, but maybe this is the best time to buy when there is blood on the streets.

@LTU_btc. In what year will Sebastian Vettel's contract in Ferrari end? I reckon he might need another extension to win a championship with them and before he transfers to Mercedes hehehehe.

I reckon because of his longer reach and size advantage, Darren Till will fight from long distance and trap Tyron with the cage behind his back, which I also observed that it is something Tyron is doing in most of his fights. He likes to go back and feel the cage with his back for security. Maybe he was in many gang fights hehehe.

@Pursuer. But it really has a chance to slowly move up to $20k-$25k. If by the end of October or the middle of November bitcoin is stable on $15,000, then 20,000 is not that far away I reckon. Would it until then that we start to agree with Tom Lee and admit that we have made a mistake?

@figmentofmyass. I had the same opinion as yours when the market was in full bear power hehe. But if the bulls come back, I reckon Tom Lee's prediction still has a chance like it did last year when bitcoin went from $6000 or $7000 to $20,000 in 1 month.

There are some altcoin news that are good to discuss in the forum, like the news about Ethereum's postponement of the difficulty bomb and the decision to reduce the mining rewards to 2 ETH.
But the altcoin subforum is full of thread bumpers and makes it hard to discuss real news, and the press subforum deletes news that are not about bitcoin.
In any case, can the moderators of press be less strict and allow the more appropriate altcoin news?

Is everyone now liking Tom Lee's prediction? The absence of countering responses towards it in the forum might also be an act of a bull signal hehe.

That sounds like a crock of shit.
The only reason it's more 'stable' is due to the post bubble hangover. It was also quite stunningly 'stable' in 2015 when it was wedged in the $250 range for what felt like forever. Didn't see many signs of Wall St back then.
As soon as bubbledom is in the air the idea of stability will be a complete and utter joke.
It appears that SFOX might have already taken a position in bitcoin hehehe. Why else would they make a positive statement like that for the news media? @Thekool1s. Agreed 100%!

@jwinterm. I do not understand. What would the difference be if Bitmain makes an Asic for a cryptocoin that is slow to verify using lowend CPUs and a for a cryptocoin that verifies quickly using the same CPU? How would more Asic proficiency differ between the 2?
Well, if you're going to "allow" ASICs on the network, then you might as well go with an algorithm that is very fast to verify on low end consumer hardware. I agree with this point. Cryptnight with ASICs is a stupid combination. @bbc.reporter I honestly don't follow the logic that ASICs would result in a higher price. There are not-silly arguments in favor or against ASICs but to expect it to make a 5x difference in price doesn't seem to follow either way from my perspective. You can never fully guess what a market will do but I would more likely see any price difference as marginal. I also find it a somewhat extraordinary claim to expect AEON not to decline a lot in value from crypto-market highs when nearly every other coin has declined a lot in value. Agreed but the investment that Asic manufacturers bring to a cryptocoin's mining infrastructure might translate to longterm value, not only in the price but also in the project itself. Also, it might be more advantageous to welcome them now than to release hardforks after hardforks to change algorithms that might cut hashrate and nodes supply.
