@BrewMaster. Yes it is. However, it is only because he has no other strategy but to be a bagholder.
Bagholders have become the most ardent supporters of the coin they are holding. I would expect Tom Lee to be our loudest supporter on 2019 hehehe.

The fact that this so called report states that Bifinex, one of the shadiest exchanges out there, isn't washing shows just how wrong & unreliable it is.
Wondering what the connection is between Bitfinex & this "Blockchain Transparency Institute".......
Also, it needed to drag the leading exchange, Binance, in the article for it to look authentic hehe. Another sign that the Blockchain Transparency Institute is a scam is it accepts donations in XRP hehehe. The most untransparent cryptotoken in the cryptospace. Its transactions cannot be traced back to its genesis.

@karel88l. However the weeks going to the release of the futures market took bitcoin to its all time high. I reckon Ethereum will be pumped the same way to its all time highs also before the certain, unpreventable dump.

Pacman is somewhat pressured with this fight with Broner as he has to show to the fight fans that he still has that quality to get that rematch with Floyd.
I disagree. There is no pressure on Manny in this fight. I reckon Nate Diaz can stand and fight good versus Adrien Broner hehehe. Also, Manny can get a rematch versus Floyd anytime, if the money is right and if the promoters think that it's the right time to scam the fans again hehe.

Funny while I am stuck in traffic here in the Philippines you can hear the Jeepneys with their loud speakers on while driving listening to the live feed on the Miss Universe pageant. You can hear the people shouting with joy every time they hear Steve Harvey mention Miss Philippines, from top 20, top 10 to top 5 until the final 2 with Miss South Africa. Top 3 on my list was South Africa, Philippines and Canada. Too bad Canada was dropped from the top 5. Surprised to see Miss Spain in the list of top 20. Congrats to all Filipinos around the world. The country was won another Miss Universe and I'm sure that all Filipinos are celebrating, LOL. 1st runner up goes to Miss South Africa, I guess the betting public is correct in their prediction. LOL.
Actually, beauty parlors or beauty salons are closed or not accepting customers during the pageant They must be so proud hehehe. Meanwhile their president is doing summary killings because of his socalled war on drugs which we already know is only another way for politicians in power to collect money and have their campaigns funded.

@timerland. I predict Tom Lee's next statement would be Hold, you cannot lose if you don't sell hehehe. That advice is good for bitcoin and some cryptocoins, however it would also be showing the bagholders' attitude of giving up and blindly holding on.

I'm actually a little surprised there are two exchanges that don't fake their volume. I naturally assumed they all did. Still, those two are probably doing something else illicit. Bitfinex still have that Tether shadow looming over them.
Who funds the Blockchain Transparency Institute? Answer that and the motivation for this report would be clearer. In any case, I reckon our favorite, classic exchanges, Bittrex and Poloniex, have never faked their volume. Also, with Poloniex being owned by Circle and being based in America, it would be a grave mistake.

@gentlemand. However, I reckon the existence of restrictive bankcoins will also give more reasons for bitcoin and other open cryptocoins to exist. We should support chinacoin's development hehehe!

"technology standart designed and contolled by others" That's why China will never adopt bitcoin. The fear of using a foreign technology that might put their financial system under foreign control. This proves that the PBOC clerks don't understand how bitcoin/blockchain works. Anyway, their "chinacoin" project is doomed to fail. Agreed. The Chinese government, never. However, the Chinese people, yes. I reckon that they have the most reasons to use bitcoin because of their restrictive government.

@camthegeek. Yes the site is certainly something I was looking for. Thank you.
In any case, I did not know that there are so many cryptonight light coins! Also, Turtlecoin and Masari have more hashrate than us? I thought we were the king of cryptonight light hehehe.
The most hash does not always mean the best coin. However, it will always mean that it is more secure than the cryptocoin that has the lesser hashrate. Also, it would always be better to be the more secure coin than to be the better coin.

I reckon the People's Bank of China's does not appear to understand what the cryptospace is if their plan to sideline bitcoin is to issue a restrictive digital form of fiat. It will only be another token pegged to fiat that is similar to USDT. However, more dangerous. The People’s Bank of China, the country’s central bank, plans to introduce a digital currency of its own. But unlike the decentralized blockchain-based offerings, this one could give Beijing more control over its financial system. It would enhance the PBOC’s ability to root out risks and crack down on money laundering. It could also give the government an unprecedented window into individuals’ private lives.
The currency would initially replace cash, PBOC Deputy Governor Fan Yifei wrote in an article earlier this year. According to patents registered by the central bank, consumers and businesses would download a mobile wallet and swap their yuan for the digital money, which they could use to make and receive payments. Crucially, the PBOC could also track every time money changes hands. Fan suggested in his article that banks would need to submit daily information on transactions and that there would be caps on transactions by individuals. The PBOC declined to comment.
The project was started by the former governor of China’s central bank, Zhou Xiaochuan, who retired in March. He decided to develop the digital currency in part to protect China from having to adopt a technology standard, like Bitcoin, designed and controlled by others.Read in full https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-12-13/china-s-plan-to-sideline-bitcoin

@ o_e_l_e_o. Agreed. It also would be very possible if the coins they are holding and rating highly was bribed to them by the whales of those altcoin projects. The corruption in the cryptospace is going on a higher level.

Does anyone know a good website that ranks all cryptonote coins by hashrate? Chainradar does not have Aeon and some of the other cryptonote coins anymore.
@smooth. Thank you for the clarification.

@Flagship11. That thread might also be a set up to make this thread. It is very easy to make a new account and accuse a gambling site of wrongdoing.
I reckon the moderators should regulate threads like these more strictly to discourage anyone from making false accusations.

@figmentofmyass, @hatshepsut93. Agreed. It would have also been better for coinidol.com if they did an investigative type of journalism criticizing Samsung for this.
In any case, leave again it to the community to tell them that it's a scam hehehe.

I doubt they mean EOS is a better project than bitcoin itself, the idea of a rating is not to promote a currency or even rank the greatness of it neither. The point is the potential and if you look at the potentials bitcoin needs to make about 6x or so to break the previous all time high whereas EOS requires a lot more and when the market goes up it usually goes up all together and remember last time bitcoin broke its all time high and reached 20 thousand dollars all other coins broke their all time high and reached new highs as well. This rating only shows that if bitcoin can go up than EOS can go up even faster, yes bitcoin could be x10 one day (hopefully) but when that x10 happens EOS could do x50 at the same time, thats why Bitcoin is C and EOS is A, not because eos is nowhere nearly as good as bitcoin.
This will make some sense only if we find out that the people behind Weiss' cryptospace division only knew as much as the newbie farmed accounts that post in the main altcoin subforum. Which they might be hehehe.
