Why don't you people lay the fuck off the guy. Sure, his Coin doesn't bring a whole lot of innovation, but he's a nice guy, and a good dev. From what I've seen, this has been a fairly flawless launch. The hash rate was fairly high, for a while, and not a single post, from anyone, complaining about the client, or anything to do, with the actual launch of the coin. If it had some pool support, the coin might actually go somewhere. Not very far, mind you, its not the next BTC or LTC, by any means, but its gone much smoother than a lot of the coins, that the community has supported in the past.
He's paided out his bounties, albeit only one has been claimed, thus far. He's honored his give-aways, and has created a contest, and is giving away a shit ton more.

yacoin is actually a pretty successful coin. More profitable then LTC or BTC and it's got a key difference and competing in that it won't be gpu minable in about a month from now.. ybcoin, well, what's the benefit of this coin over yacoin?

Why should anyone use your coin if that means *they* risk being sued by MasterCard? That's not true at all. First of all, their logo is nowhere within the Mastercoin client. It's not even their logo at all, it's a orange circle, with the word Master in it. Secondly, it's only half of their logo. Pretty sure MasterCard does not own the word "master" Why don't you make your own unique logo instead of cutting Mastercards in half? This is either plain strange or just lazy. FFS, he didn't make the logo. He offered a bounty for a logo, someone submitted it, and he paid the bounty for it. Not everyone is a graphic designer |

@dreamwatcher Noooooo!  Dont turn off the PPS Pool! Its the most honest and best working PPS pool and the rare great working GLD pool, besides your PPLNS. It was quick with payouts and I cant believe that people preffered other pools besides this PPS pool. Is there any chance to activate it again? If fee was the problem implement 3-4%, the pool deserves it! I think people did not know about this pool so much, did you have a [ANN] thread? I am really sad now!  You could just mine a real coin |

why would you do that... say he has 40G or M.hash of power from GPU's. if profitability of LTC is 30% more then BTC. he could get 30% - exchange commission from mining LTC over BTC. if you have a GPU, you have absolutely no reason to be mining BTC. Mine the BTC, hold it until BTC hits $250 again, ching, ching, rinse, repeat |
