781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin : the best performing coin ? on: July 10, 2017, 05:13:15 PM

I believe OP is referring to price not usage.
782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin : the best performing coin ? on: July 10, 2017, 04:53:15 PM
Litecoin is the best performing coin when the markets crash (it looses the least against the USD) and it bounces back the quickest when the markets recover. Am I right in thinking Litecoin is the only bullish coin left in this bearish climate? And with the Bitcoin August 1st issues, Litecoin might really go up in the hundreds... Time will tell...

If you are looking at 30 or 7 days performance, than yes, litecoin has performed much better, but if you search more coins maybe you will find something that performed even better than litecoin in the last 30 days.

Well, it's hard to innovate when miners are blocking upgrades...

When I read the title I imagine it was implementations like btcd, Bitcore, bitcoinfs and so on, but he is just bitching about some random shit.

Wanna know about bitcoin scaling and innovation check out this thread:

Well, it is hard to innovate when you are blocking competition like BScore does...

Miners only reakt. Second movers choice.

It's free open source software, anyone can submit their contribution, if the code is crap of course it won't be approved, there are standards and procedures in place, will it be Linux, Wordpress, GNU, everyone can submit code and everyone can fork the code.

Sure. But you are treated like the last idiot by some legends here if you do and openly support others than BScore.
It should be treated like using a different exchange or wallet. So we have still some work to do and open all  minds for more clients.

You are free to do whatever you want regardless of what other people say.

786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TenX Price Dump, down 75%? on: July 07, 2017, 05:25:51 PM
Not invested in this coin or too familiar in what it offers, whats with such a drop?

I did see it was listed on Bittrex recently, but would that really cause it?

Didn't the price gone up?

ICO was 350 tokens for 1 Eth...

792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lightening Network is a Trap. on: June 30, 2017, 05:27:27 PM
You don't have to use Lightning Network if you don't feel comfortable with it.

There are a few other projects similar to Lightning Network in the making, and you don't have to use those also.

Yeah. But if LN and others will be used heavily and blocksize stays as is (SW /1MB) then tx fees will explode to the sky and you will be forced by fee (fbf) to use it unless you are not a big whale.

Just use some other altcoin for small transactions.

you always have a choice.

And they're going after $12 million and they're going to get it, any shady project without any working software or even a solid business plan will collect millions from online "investors".

A fool and his ethers are soon parted.

Does anyone know the price of 1 CVC? I'd like to know how much tokens I'll receive for $100

If you bought at crowdsale it's $0.1 per CVC so you'll get 1000 CVC when distribution comes.

I was hoping it would break upwards, but down it is.

There is nice instruction on the storj.io about converting of SJCX for STORJ... but I can't send my SJCX from polo! Because polo temporary disabled withdrawings of SJCX. Any suggestions?Huh

In this case, Poloniex is the one doing the conversion process, you don't have to do anything, just have to wait.
