Dash is the most fudded coin in the history of cryptocurrencies. Yet those who had the vision to hold all these years despite the massive fudding are now rich. Deal with it. No amount of fudding will do a damn thing. You're all free to spend your energy however you wish though, and I know being angry is an endless source of energy. The only thing that could make Dash crash and burn is if a massive flaw would be found, even a flaw in the anonymity wouldn't matter much if at all, it would have to be something akin to the InstantX or the whole network being stalled beyond repair.
Actually Bitcoin is the most FUDded coin in cryptocurrencies, and most of dash's criticisms are well earned technical issues, so do not count as FUD, just plain old criticism. What a surprise the two most FUD'ed coins - BTC and DASH - are the best coins to grow in value. Lets FUD something else and let it in the party. |

I am looking at all the cheap anon coins. DASH is rising fast now and it will be a matter of time before every body will release that it is expensive and look for the next DASH. It is a good opportunity to accumulate all the cheap anon coins and look at them flying when the whales pump them. I am currently looking at XMR and SDC and they should rise sharply soon.
if you really look for cheap coins, i think you can bought doge which is really cheap for now and you can hold it into your private wallet and you can waiting for next increase price. i think its not good idea to make stock for dash for now because the price is too high too buy and we do not know when they price will go up again or only getting down after this. I absolutely agree with you. DOGE is kind of volatility resistant though it also suffers from BTC rise. It is too risky to invest in XMR or DASH now. Better to mine a lot of BCN coins on your PC and wait for a pump. You can get a good amount of BTC. |

The best low cost profitable project was Bitcoin itself. Now it is expansive and very energy consuming, inefficient, nature unfriendly. Better to choose altcoin and not BTC for cheap startup idea.

SEC just confirmed that Bitcoin cannot be regulated what a surprise LOL! But BTC has very serious technical problems of scaling, TX confiormation time and speed. It is to volatile for "store of value" Who will put their money into such a volatile asset going up and down $100-300 in seconds? Only speculators and traders. It is overvalued. Just another bubble.

Bitcoin rally continues after stabilization of ETF issue. I don't know what is causing this bubble but it is not justified neither by technical advantages of BTC, nor by adoption. It is a big bubble when everybody is buying expecting that price will go up in the future and it is going but how long? I do not care. BTC is overvalued. It will drop hard. Just a matter of time.

Bitcoin price stabilizes after ETF and is going up again. Bull trend was obvious before SEC decision and it continues "to the moon". XMR will suffer again, very high volatility.

But the bitcoin still need the correction for their price. and i think we will see the bitcoin is back again into the middle level and leave the bottom. Bitcoin prices may test below $1000 levels in upcoming days but I am not sure that would be the signal for altcoin bumps. The big problem with altcoin is, usually they do fail to keep their investors and traders attracted toward it all the times. Investors and traders keep on switching into new coins all the times then how you can expect prices to bounce back. New altcoins will keep on hit the market and people will invest and book profit and then will forget when they see another new altcoins. So far this is the history how altcoins market worked and if history repeats itself then we can keep on seeing blood bath everywhere of alt markets. The problem is not with altcoins the problem is with people who are wasting their money in scam shitcoins. What advantages over alts has BTC? 1. Transactions fees? No 2. Transactions speed? No 3. Anonymous coin? No 4. Volatility? Check price movement yesterday if you think that BTC is very stable! So, no. 5. Store of value? Check any book of economics and find out what is "store of value". The premise of store value is that it hasn't high volatility rates. Nobody will put their money in BTC except speculators and venture capitalists. It is weird, go and try to buy a cup of coffee with your Blockchain app and share answer with us how that was cool. Story about merchants accepting BTC is a bubble to fool people that you can use your BTC in everyday life for evveryday TX's. Why I need this? 1$ per TX while my mobile app charges $0?! While I agree about volatility I do not about technicals. BTC has too much congestion problems that are unresolved and it will be more in the future. You mentioned merchants. Remember how many transactions per sec can scale BTC? And when you'll find the answer, tell us more about merchants accepting BTC. It is bullshit. BTC has a lot of unresolved problems. Core team, miners and speculators are lying because they have their own interests. As I agree that crypto is volatile, I do not recommend anyone to invest or put their money into it. Retirement funds have conservative and safe investment tools. But what I want to say, alts have better perspectives than Bitcoin with its hyper expansive and slow network. Finally, do you know that you can't talk abstract "altcoins". There're a lot of them. Shitcoins, pump and dump coins huge list of them. All of the alts are dependant on BTC and volatility of alts depends on BTC! In terms o fiat major altcoins aren't so volatile as you're trying to convince us. We should trade alts not againts BTC but against fiat to see the difference. We also should expect more merchants accepting the best performing alts. Here's the news, price of bitcoin and most alts when down a lot in the last 24 hours. Why is the price suddenly going down before ETF? I was expecting lot of people to grab btc before ETF news comes out Happening now and alt coins will drop. Will be good to buy cheap alt as people will take profits the next ATH. Imagine if you are a journalist (or even worse a regulator) and you learn that Evan told people he would not start mining and then instamined it. Imagine on top of that if the journalist then also learns that Evan the reduced the number of coins?
Nah, journalists are too stupid to even understand what that means. They even sell bitcoin as an anonymous coin. DASH is a centralized coin with low liquidity in the hands of a single guy, mimicking as a great distributed crypto currency, improved over bitcoin (not difficult), and know what ? That propaganda works as hell. People love to fall for this kind of stuff. What is even greater, is that DASH can pose as a coin that used to be criminal, and now has seen the light and is on the side of the nice guys ; redemption. Only a small and insignificant number of smart people know how fake it is, but they don't matter. The BIG problem for DASH is something totally different: it is an illegal security that doesn't pass the Howey test. If I were Evan, I would cash out before, flee to an exotic place, change name and live a rich-man's life in anonymity. (hence, not use DASH, with its fake anonymity  ) So, do you think dash will ever be used as a currency? I'm not betting on DASH but it has some advantages over BTC. First of all, transactions fees are lower. Secondly, speed of transactions. But it is not designed for micropayments. So, I think that it will fail in the future. We have better options - NEM, RaiBlocks, Byteball. |

The ETF-decision will move the market. If approved it could fall below .02. If disapproved I believe there is some chance for a rising price. Not sure on what to bet here but I believe disapproval is more likely and even if approved money will flow back into Alt's once Bitcoin reaches new highs (wherever they might be). I'm curious why SEC is silent until the last days? Do they approve it by not making any public statement? I have read that it wasn't the practice of SEC to approve any ETF silently. If BTC ETF is approved FCT will fall below 0.02 mark. Most of alts will fall hard. |

It can easily got to 100 sat area this year but I don't expect this to happen in the first half of this year. Supply is also very huge and it is difficult to drive price up. However, last time Sia was building bull trend but immediate Bitcoin rise came up and price crashed.

I'm doubtful why anyone in Nigeria or elswhere needs GXP? We have Bitcoin for store of value and many alts for microtransactions with low or no fees. How can you expect that GXP is better than those coins?
