SALT has amazing community, bittrex and liqui, binance have huge number of salt fans.

Fans on unofficial channels perhaps but their official channels are horrible. It feels more like a caged group than a community.

Quote
It is easy to make money from lending in SALT. SALT is the future of decentralized lending.

Um, this is a joke right? Have you even read their whitepaper? SALT is perfectly, 100% centralized.
That's right, but everyone will be able to use his decentralized coins or tokens for centralized lending at SALT.  Grin

Huh

Quote
I really like the idea from SALT, in this case it doesn't matter for me that it's centralized.

To each their own I guess but I simply wanted to make it clear that SALT is far removed from anything decentralized.

SALT got potential. But I think a new coin will come up and do exactly what SALT does but better and will blow SALT away.

This is what you call "dumb fud".

No, yours is a silly and naive response.

Hey Guys,

Call me a newbie, but im getting mixed messages as to what the ICO price. some say it was 3 -7.50, others got it as low as 0.25? Sorry. I'm just looking for a reasonable entry price.

This article should clarify the issue just right.
82  Economy / Reputation / Re: [User Generated] - Known alts of anyone on: October 27, 2017, 11:28:26 PM
what should i said. i've said the truth.

Well you're gonna have to do more than just claim you've said the truth. The last person that this happened to at least had a somewhat believable excuse that he simply copied the last format on the page but yours is quite different.

gmrana's post which you claimed to copy is the 5th post on this page with a format and 7th from the top. Yours is the 14th from the top and there are 5 posts above yours not affiliated with gmrana that have a format so why didn't you copy theirs? Why didn't you copy nejibens' that was right above yours? Why didn't you copy stompysteve's that was the first on the page?

How many Genesis Pair holders have yet to create a batch? I haven't yet. Not sure how much longer I will hold off.

It'd be great for genesis address holders like me if you don't hold off since the sooner you hatch your batches the lower the max supply in the end. A lower max supply (even though 135M is not exactly huge) can only be good.

Thanks, I didn't even think of looking at the website. So, it looks like almost 50% have already been mined. If that is a true statement, I'm a bit surprised that so many have already mined.

I can't wait till it reaches 75%. Hopefully the next rise can get it close to that and drop off the remaining weak hands.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING.. BEWARE OF ALL E COINS! (eBTC, E CASH, ETHB) BEWARE OF TROY! on: October 27, 2017, 10:27:44 PM
I was gonna leave it at the dev's response but this is just too adorable.

Thanks for doing the right thing. Hope this hasn't been too damaging to the reputation of a reputable project, though...

If its a "reputable" project then this thread wont make a difference.. if its a SCAM project then yea, its going to shit..
actions speak louder then words.

That Telegram channel is evidently not the only channel you were banned from so it's safe to assume that none of those coins on your list are on there because they're scams but rather because you were banned, had your feelings hurt and couldn't help but vent on BCT.

As if that wasn't bad enough, after being called out for blatantly lying you still have the audacity to place yourself on some sort of moral high ground while feigning innocence and victimhood? Really? Is there any limit to the vapidity of your existence?

Quote
All of these coins are made by the SAME Person. THE DEV LEFT THE PROJECT IN LESS THEN A MONTH ON ALL OF THESE COINS!!!
[...]  stealing everyones hard earned crypto so they can have enough money to make more scam coins and its a never ending cycle until someone stops them!! im not sure how to stop them but im trying my best this is why im making this thread.

Every single accusation in there is utterly false wrt Elixir but rather than apologize, you "commend" the dev for acknowledging some wrong doing? Wow, I've seen people get negative trust for less and you most definitely deserve one.

Edit: And for someone claiming to do this for altruistic reasons, I need not wonder why your list is massively incomplete given this in the eBIT thread:

Please send me the airdrops ive been looking forward to it for weeks  Smiley

And this in the iBTC thread:

I got the airdrop! Thank you dev! 3500 coins Smiley
Too bad i cant use EtherDelta because the exchange never loads for me!

I said you deserve a negative trust but I was wrong, you deserve way more than just one because you're demonstrably a lying hypocrite.

Community Coin of the Month Voting for Binance -

[-- snip --]

The devs have said they're already in contact with Binance concerning a listing. For about 3 weeks now. If you read through the AMA you'll see where it was asked.

I understand that they've applied to be listed to binance. I've taken the time to do some research and its not very easy to get listed on binance.

Oh, I didn't know that.

Quote
Take a look at the link. Binance holds a monthly vote where the binance users can vote for a new coin to be listed. If the coin successfully garners the most votes through the voting time period, it is added to binance for free. The devs have already sent in a request via google form to be listed on Binance, so their interest in being listed can be assumed. I would also assume that, for them, not paying a listing fee would be a bonus as well. Finally, I'm sure the majority of individuals supporting this coin would like to see elixir be listed on Binance sooner rather than later.

This is just an opportunity to take an active role in furthering our own investment.

I do agree. I've since posted the link in all the channels I'm in (short of reddit) but there wasn't much of a response. I did notice that the devs have to apply first via email in order to get the voting started so we're gonna need a confirmation of that happening first.

Enough of bullies. Like you guys think is perfectly fine for dev to post a open ended announcement and suddenly changing stand.

- Bullying? Are you over 12?
- There was no "open ended announcement" where a stand was changed.

Funny how there's no time limit of conversion for that new token. You're really a bag of falsehoods.

Did you even read the whitepaper? Do you even understand why this technology is being used and for what goals? How the eff does unbanked population of any region comes under the scope of what Salt is doing? Salt needs 125% collateral in crypto currency, before they will even give you loan. And please go and ask on their telegram channel - what happens if the value of crypto goes down during loan period, they will simply state that your collateral will be liquidated

The minimum loan is also, IIRC, $5K - quite large for many of the unbanked. This doesn't include the fact that you, at least not too long ago, had to buy SALT at $25 - a price that is still several times more than the current market price of ~$3.10 -  just to sign up for their service.

As for asking questions regarding price on their telegram, good luck with that. Emma C and co will most likely respond with a threat of about how you'll be banned or be permanently restricted like what happened to this guy:

Same thing happened to me a few moments after asking what we were allowed to discuss, asked about their sorta competitors like Regal (a ponzi) and Elixir and started getting this whenever I clicked on the invite link:

Quote
And please you will never be able to buy it under ICO price, the ICO tiers started from 0.25$, redistributed among devs and insiders most probably.

Ah, the fishy "totally not an ICO" ICO. Try to discuss the "SALT ICO" in the telegram and you might get an absurd excuse as to why they're totally not one.

So, what is your conclusion ?
Could you share as I just came across this token yesterday.

It's entirely up to you in the end. I heard about SALT before their ICO but after experiencing all this, I personally wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot pole as far as investing is concerned.

If you're still really interested in crypto-lending, you can check out Elixir (P2P lending, no membership fees, AMA with devs here) and WishFinance (SME lending, established business apparently). I haven't done as much research into WF but at least they're not afraid to call their ICO an ICO.

TME NOVA ISSUE:

Those who think I have not contacted Dev. I have dropped email and PM on 3rd Oct. And answering unauthorized people here. I serve for an institutional investor and its part of my job to give a conclusion even if its a loss to compile final tax filing.

Everything in the quote above is utter, unadulterated rubbish. I'd be stunned if you're old enough to file a legal complaint without "going on your mom" much less employed anywhere. If you are employed then it's highly unlikely it's outside some pajeet-tier crap company.

Oh it is  really bad to hear that about Nova and also I think it is really bad for the trust in the project - maybe in the future we can set something up like a Fund for those that lost the TME but I doubt we could manage to do that  Undecided

The keywords being "I think". You're entitled to your thoughts but if anyone's trust is in question, it's Nova's. Ask them why they're interested in fixing the issues over 4 weeks later.

I don't usually get bothered with this since I'm mostly on PC and kill all ads but I was on mobile earlier today and noticed this interesting ad:

AFAICS it's not one of those annoying google ads since I don't get the usual "Why?" when I click the close button so I'm wondering, how much did CMC get paid to advertise a known ponzi scam as the "most promising cryptocurrency" to invest in?

It looks like there was a change to the criteria to list exchanges. It requires 100k$ in daily volume. However some exchanges already listed have as little as 500$. This is not really quite fair to newcomers. Please consider either

[-- snip --]

Where did you hear that? There are more than a few unknown exchanges listed here with less than $500 trading volume. IDEX which I know for certain just got listed less than a week ago doesn't have anywhere near $100K trading volume.

I wasn't part of an airdrop either. I bought in a few days before the wallet went into maintenance mode with no announcement. I don't see why dev would not want to work with NovaExchange.

The thing is, he tried to. Since the issue popped up during the TME days he was in contact with them and they didn't offer a way out. That was about a month of waiting. For whatever reason they've decided to wake up now.

Quote
It would be easier to make peace vs burn a bridge. Plus I bet they could work out some kind of agreement to get ELIX listed there and easily convert and dispose of TME.

You both should join the Telegram here if you haven't already. You might be able to get the dev, the main dev, to offer a way out.

I just went back 40+ pages to find the same thing. Was going to post it. I pm'd the dev. Still that recovery process seems unsafe. If I were to generate an API key wouldn't the dev technically have the ability to sell or transfer any of my coins on Nova? I'd need to move everything somewhere else before doing it. You would think there would be some kind of big announcement and it wouldn't be just a single post. I have 30+ different coins. Hard to read every little thing on each one every day. Especially when this one has had a few conversions and 3 threads. They could have just told Nova to mention it on their news feed that a conversion process existed.

As per Dev post: Afer the removal of TME from NovaExchange (scheduled for September
30th), the developers will credit the addresses specified with EXOR.

That clearly did not happen then why Dev moved ahead?

Already answered. Use your eyes.

If Dev do not coordinate with NOVA and Don't convert to EXOR. I will go for legal option and feel free to join me if you also feel the same

You won't do a damn thing so stop deluding yourself.

This wasn't an ICO so you literally have no basis for complaint. I've been part of at least 2 airdrops where I lost what I got, notified the devs and nothing happened. Also, the dev explicitly stated what you needed to do to get your coins back. That you failed to do so or didn't see it is not the devs fault. This certainly won't be the first time people are losing coins/tokens because of a rebranding/swap so suck it up and buy the Elixir dip.

You don't make any sense:

1. First, we have not got TME as airdrop, we bought it with our own money.

Except you're a multi-person blob representing the entirety of people who've lost their TME on Nova, this is nonsense.

Also, I have enough proofs that this project will fall under ICO, if needed to prove in courts.

I have enough evidence to prove I'm Bill Gates son. ICYMI, you're blabbing.

2. We have not failed in getting TME. We have worked with NOVA and NOVA is ready, but now its on Dev to respond.

If you failed to follow the dev's instructions laid out on September 11th then you most certainly have failed to get your TME. Your account was created a day after the recovery was done and for that, you have only your inane existence to blame.

Quote
3. Why don't you suck it up our concerns and let the Dev respond, you have no authority to advise us to loose our coins. If you are from Elix team, show up and then say. Till then keep yourself out of this.

I get that but ironically, option 1 was suggested by a member here when he felt option 2 would be too expensive, and it is. He did what was asked and got his coins back. Another user, IIRC, went with option 2 and didn't even bother to move out his coins and he also got his coins.

That doesn't seem right. I was following the first thread and the dev said to be patient with novaexchange and to get your tokens into myetherwallet as soon as the wallet came back out of maintenance mode. I've been checking with nova twice a week and the wallet has never came out of maintenance mode so I've never been able to get my coins out.

You should've been following this thread. That aside, the issue lies with Nova (and partly those gen holders that were in a haste to sell their tokens). It doesn't make sense to expect the devs to wait several weeks for Nova to decide it's time to wake up from their slumber and actually run their business.

What exactly were we supposed to do?

NovaExchange TME Recovery

The ELIX developers are moving forward with a plan to recover TME locked in
NovaExchange. As NovaExchange has not initiated plans to work with the
developers to remove this TME, the developers have chosen an alternative option.
The process of recovering TME in NovaExchange is not ideal, but we are dedicated
to helping those who purhased TME turn their holdings into EXOR, which they may
then turn into ELIX.

Note: If NovaExchange opens withdrawals or deposits, the developers will not be able
to move forward with this plan but will consider alternative possibilities.

To recover TME you have stuck in NovaExchange:

Option 1:

Under "Accounts" in NovaExchange (in the upper right), go to API Keys.
Generate a new API key.
Email elixirtoken@gmail.com with the following:
API_KEY
API_SECRET
We can check your balance using these, and then you can delete that API key.

Option 2:

1. Move all digital assets except your TME out of your NovaExchange account. There will be some gas costs, but this step is optional. It is meant to eliminate trust throughout the process.
2. Change your email if you wish to protect your privacy.
3. Create and set a temporary password for your account.
Email elixirtoken@gmail.com with the following information:
1. Your NovaExchange username and temporary password.
2. The address to which you would like an equal amount of EXOR credited. This
should be a personal wallet, not an exchange wallet. If you use an exchange wallet,
you will not be able to access your EXOR.

We will then email back with a request #, which will be used to organize this
process. Afer the removal of TME from NovaExchange (scheduled for September
30th), the developers will credit the addresses specified with EXOR.
Please be patient regarding email commmunications as we expect to receive many
claims. Addresses will be credited after the delisting of TME to make sure the
process goes smoothly.

You can follow the progress of recovery claims via this document:

Thank you for your patience.

From Novaexchange News feed:

2017-10-22 17:58 - Still no reply from ELIX (former TME) dev team

TME will continue being in maintenance until the dev team behind TME and ELIX have replied to our emails about the conversion/swap.

The Devs have already addressed the issue. Any remaining tokens in nova have been burned.

One day dev will come and say all in coinexchange will be burnt? will you agree, no if you have tokens locked their.
Should you wont understand the pain of people who's token are stuck in Nova.
You just cant burn 1 million tokens when investors want them to be converted.

what are you talking about?  he gave everyone the option to have them converted... the ones that didn't do the necessary steps to have such done then didn't get there tokens.... pretty straight forward.. and a very generous move on their part

As per Dev he was supposed to finish that process when Nova delist TME

[-- snip --]

Like musclepump said, what are you talking about? Several "original TME investors" followed the instructions the dev laid out and got their coins back. Those that failed to do so before October 2 have mostly themselves to blame.

I don't know why some people are so concern about the number of tokens in circulation, the current figure is still low when compared to most project in the space and also is the price, when all these Bitcoin fork is over this is a 10ksat per token

Exactly my friend

There are many projects but with a much higher supply of Elixir and a much higher cap.
Now and in the coming weeks is the best time to spare and buy your ELIX, because the values of these days will only be a distant memory.

Elix at 12 months from today can be quietly $ 2-3 and would only have a cap of $ 60-70 million .... nothing compared to its competitors

60 million market cap does not sound way too big, especially if the markets will continue to grow. The only thing that bothers me is that it was an airdrop. Which airdrop from the past has the largest market cap right now?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/nem/

 Grin

NEM was airdropped?

Anyways, the answer is technically BitcoinCash at #4. But since it's the genesis coin fork, I can see why it may be excused. For the highest price, look at ByteBall (GBYTE) with an ATH of $926.
