81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Who is switching to what? Which coin will you choose to mine after Ethereum 2.0? on: August 23, 2021, 04:41:15 AM
Smiley Smiley Really important question for ETHASH miners, which coin are you choosing to mine after the ethereum 2.0 comes up?

There are options of:
- Ethereum cash;
- raven coin,;
- beam - and today some new coin came up to my eye name - Metaverse(ETP) - giving profits almost like ethereum.

What's your guys opinions? I think if most people will switch to ravencoin it will be much more profitable than ether and become more expensive than now, but the problems I personally faced was that cards were getting high temps. 77 and maybe more (I just switched' em off)

Please share your thoughts, so we will be prepared for Inevitable future... Smiley

Stopped reading at "Ethereum cash;"

83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: LHR users it's all about the extra config argument on: August 21, 2021, 06:08:47 AM
It's always good to give a try, yesterday I was bored and I decided to try things out on my 3070ti which is a LHR card, LHR has been unlocked by NB miner 39.0 and I was getting 52MH but I discovered something new yesterday, I hope you guys can give this a try and get better hashrate

Go into your hiveOS flight sheet settings, click edit and click on setup miner config, find extra config arguments and use the following "lhr": "69" this increase my 3070ti to 55.50MH, it works for 3080 LHR too

Well yeah its in the notes of the miner update.  You can set it all the way up to 100 but 68 is the default as most GPU's wont have any issues or crash at 68%.  I've been able to push to 72 on some GPU's.

85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can 1660 go down to 50watt range on: July 16, 2021, 11:37:17 PM

I'm surprised cos I've never seen a micron memory GPU performs this efficiency, all gtx1660 I have are Samsung and hynix and the lowest watt I got out of them is around 67watts to 70watts, getting 51watt out of yours is really impressive 👍

Thanks to HiveOS new absolute core clock.  They used to run 70w, but I have 24 of these msi GPU's in 2 rigs that all run 50-55w at 26.2MH/s.
Hive OS doesn't own absolute core clock I believe that belongs to mining softwares like T-rex and phoenix miner and yes it thus work well for gtx1660, 1650, 1660super and Ti, there have been report of 1660 super users getting 65watt @31MH using absolute core clock too

No one "owns" being able to set the core clock its just a new feature on Hive.

With a little more tweaking im up to 41MH/s on my 3060 in hiveOS with probably a little more room with memory OC if you want to get crazy.

It seems there is the new version 1.30 with ERGO and also with and improve for the 3060...

Slight boost from 37Mh/s to 38.5 @99watts.

Hello,

WTS a GPU rig with 8 x RTX 3080 hashing already at Lightspeed Hosting facility in Ohio.
I have used it only for almost 10 days, the hashrate is around 780 MH/s without overlocking.
One good thing is that the miner is working with Immersion cooling not air cooling which only Lightspeed Hosting offers currently and it gives 15-20% power consumption efficiency and 15-20% more hashrate.

The rig is already hashing and can be switched to your account at LS Hosting immediately after payment, and Lighstspeed escrow can be used during the transaction.

Asking price: Please make your offers, i won't ask a price as of now

Any one interested please contact on whatsapp: +447451236567 or on telegram @sugarunited

Didn't need to make a new post.  Kind of sus you deleted a few of your posts and removed your insane price tag of $26k

You can buy 3080's for around 1700 now, sorry you got scammed.

I haven't been scammed, i bought them back in March. Wait a bit once market goes up you won't find it anymore at $1700

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but buying at 3x MSRP peak of the market is getting scammed.

"15-20% more hashrate" but it only hashes 780MH/s?  Who in their right mind is paying $26k for 8 3080's in this current market?  Roll Eyes
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: T-Rex 0.14.4 NVIDIA GPU miner with web monitoring page and auto-updates on: June 30, 2021, 01:51:48 PM
same here , High CPU usage 37.6% !

using latest NVIDIA driver 471.11 and Win 11,  [turning off --validate-shares or --cpu-priority 1] dose not help in my case., is there any other solution ?

I am having problem with one of miners. It is W10 1903, 2x1070 Nvidia with latest drivers. Cpu usage is locked on 100% on miner Huh I downloaded today latest miner for rvn fork ..

For comparison of cpu usage, Driver 436.02 vs Driver 430.64 took a few days to identify that new drivers were overloading cpu.

Driver 436.02

Driver 430.64

Obviously its a driver issue so use an older driver.

Just 4GB GPU's chasing profits.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Version 2 of GMiner versus T-rex miner, actually mining real Eth on 3070s on: June 29, 2021, 06:38:21 PM
Ok, so the first round of results are in.

I ran both miners for about 24 hours and 15 minutes.

Gminer earned = Eth 0.003349   BTC 0.00020561 USD 7.48

T-rex earned    = Eth 0.003545   BTC 0.00021765 USD 7.92

I am running one more test and I will post those results tomorrow and then I will give my thoughts on miners and the tests.

Trex always performs better pool side for me.  Slightly higher hashrate and less stale shares compared to gminer and ethminer so its worth the 1% fee for me at least.

3060 Ti,3070,3080, and 3090 arent even Eth restricted though.

Will you buy if we provide pics?

What do you want to look at?

lol this guy

I understand that the offer may not be the most appealing to everyone, if you are not interested you are not forced to buy what we are selling.

I wish you guys a fast recovery from that breakdown

Imagine being a "large company" and not using escrow.  Obvious scammer is obvious.

Supposedly FE versions wont be LHR.

Although the Founder versions are going to be the best priced options for these new cards I am not sure that you can count on the FE versions of the 3080/70 TI's to not be nerfed for ETH.

I believe Nvidia's statement on FE's never being nerfed was in relation to the existing line of 3060ti 3070/80's.

Nvidia's latest official release statement states all 3070 TI's and 3080 TI's will ship with the LHR mining limiter.

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/rtx-3080-ti-3070-ti-graphics-cards/

And I quote:

"All GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics cards will ship with a reduced Ethereum hash rate so they’re less desirable to professional miners."

"All GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics cards will also have the halved hash rate for Ethereum mining."

Thanks for clearing that up.
