I just witnessed the dev team auction off over half the RACE masternodes to one person. Pretty unfair and should be limited per person. What a shame, you guys almost had a good thing going on. R.I.P greedy scammers

Not taking sides here, but if the rules of the auction were not violated, then it simply means that someone wanted to invest more.

What is nefarious about that?

Is there any consensus at all on what the value of RACE is at this moment?  I am mining and getting about 7-8 per day.  I would like to have at least an idea as to whether I am doing the right thing at this point.  If this is like other coins, there should be some value that is established as a relationship to what is being brought to bear in its hashrate.  Ie., mine something that yields 1500/day - it's going to be worth just pennies to start with.  7-8 would seem to indicate this initially gets measured as a handful of dollars.  But that is a real WAG at it.

Anyone have any advice on this?
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RACE] PoW / Masternodes, Lyra2REv2, ASIC-Resistant, Increasing High MN Rew on: February 04, 2018, 05:21:45 AM
Grin

Actually I switched over and watched for about 8 hours - locally reported hashrate was indeed higher with Alexis78 BUT pool hash lowered substantially. This is for mining straks but I would assume since same algo as RACE, results would be similar.

There's something fishy about some of the mods.  There was one called krnlx that was 15-20% faster on skunkhash than anything else... LOCALLY.  But it was 15% worse at the pool.  I suspected, but never tested, that there could be some mining going on for someone else under the hood.

I would not worry too much unless that 25% shows up in actual pool results.  I have had a couple of versions of ccminer that looked like they were blowing the doors off the algo, but saw no increase in results and, in once case, saw a decrease.

link ?

Don’t have one mate. I downloaded nemosminer, if memory serves it downloads into the bin folder.

they pretend that they relife Signatum, however they just made a new coin but they are same people and they have same roadmap...

Icedevil,

If STRAKS is a scam, why were you so pissed off in the Discord channel that you missed the swap deadline?

You are like someone who waits in line for concert tickets, then when the concert sells out before they get seats, goes around telling everyone how bad the band sucks and anyone who listens to them is an idiot.

The fact that you were PISSED that you MISSED the deadline reveals the truth AND your real issue.

Nobody who is angry that they missed something is angry because they missed something they did not WANT to start with.

When you could not get it, you turned into a little brat... plain and simple.

Totally false!

I was in the Discord channel at the time and witnessed it firsthand.

Hmmmm.... I wonder WHY icedevil deleted his post that claimed I was lying?

swap process is growing very fast.
it seems big crash will come when the swapped staks have been distributed.

You have not been paying attention.

The swap will NOT cause a crash because it is NOT going to happen all at once.

Those who swapped their SIGT for STRAKS will get their coins over the course of 2-3 years.  It will be as if they were mining them.

People who are buying SIGT today in order to get a 'quick swap for quick money' are not going to see that happen.  They will get a SLOW swap for whatever STRAKS is worth when the swap starts to trickle coins out to those who used to own SIGT.

Hoprefully, STRAKS will grow in value over the next few years.  I am not expecting my rewards to be finished until the year 2021 and it could be later than that.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] STRAKS - Decentralised, Open Source, Community Driven Digital Currency on: January 02, 2018, 12:57:43 PM
When will STRAKS be paid which is swapped  with signatum?

As we know , it must be paid in january ?

is there  more definite time?

The swap will take place over a long period of time.  That period depends upon what portion of the existing SIGT are burnt for the swap.

If 100% of SIGT is swapped then it would take 6 years for all of it to be swapped out.  If it is 50% then it will be less.

Why. you might ask...

If the swap were all done in a day, the STRAKS market would crash due to the sudden shift in a 2 cent coin suddenly being worth more than a dollar (adjusted for the 4 for 1 swap).  A large percent of the newly minted SIGT swaps would be sold right off the bat and miners of STRAKS would be punished.  So, the SIGT community that decides to swap is essentially going to be mining STAK over the swap period.  This will put their newly minted coins on a par with miners.

BTW, I am mining STRAKS at this moment.

For those that want to complain about the swap... read on.

1. Nobody who bought or mined SIGT is owed ANYTHING at all.  We took a risk and lost.

2. The STRAKS developers, even when considering a possible 6 year swap out, are doing the SIGT community a service, IMHO.

3. Nobody has to swap.

4. Having an option with this is a good thing.

5. You win some, you lose some.  It would have been perfectly fine with me if SIGT had just died on the vine.  I had written it off as nearly worthless.  STRAKS swap, as I see it, is a windfall.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TZC] TrezarCoin Super-Secure-PoW/PoS on: December 29, 2017, 07:33:26 PM
i had 20 coin in wallet from 1 month, staking is enabled, but never got nothing, what i have to do ?please explain.

Staking 20 coins will never result in being awarded a 100 coin staking reward.  I have done a very rough estimate based upon the last 3 months of staking and it appears that I am getting a tad better than a 2% monthly return on my staked coins (36,000).  Since it has to come in 100 coin increments, 20 coins is mathematically never going to have any real chance of producing anything.

I have about 4000.00 US of TZC at this time.  I get about 85.00 US in POS rewards every 30 days.  If the same numbers applied to you, you would get about 5 cents per month.  Since a stake reward is about 200 times that amount, you could conceivably get a reward in about 11 years.  But, that's not really going to happen.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TZC] TrezarCoin Super-Secure-PoW/PoS on: December 29, 2017, 03:49:33 PM
Hate to ask a silly question but where is the wallet.dat stored under Windows 7 x64?

I have looked under C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming where other QT wallets have saved dats but there is no trezarcoin folder.
It is also not in the same folder as the QT application either.

Is there a way to query the QT wallet to tell me the location?

Look in the folder where the trezarcoin-qt.exe is located and there will be a subfolder labeled data.  Wallet.dat is in that folder.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TZC] TrezarCoin Super-Secure-PoW/PoS on: December 19, 2017, 03:17:20 AM
It's strange , I have 11100 coins and open for stake everyday . I have opent for several month and POS nothing.

your coin is too low right now if you need POS maybe 100k coin

I have just under 36,000 TZC and I have been averaging 800 - 1000 coins every 30 days.  Lots of inputs (over 375) and over 500,000 coin days.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Koinbi ExChange are scam on: December 18, 2017, 04:49:27 AM
Coinsmarkets is a horrible exchange too.  I made a small test deposit.  It went through just fine but now my balance does not show any STAK balance at all.

And the connectivity to their server is hideous.  I am on a 1 gig fiber connection and am constantly timing out trying to do the simplest of tasks at coinsmarkets.com.

they might be getting slammed and I probably have not last anything, but getting anything DONE there is nearly impossible right now.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum 2.0 on: December 17, 2017, 03:43:49 AM
this sucks...why would anyone wait for 6 years to recieve coins...I'll just hold on to my SIGT

The way I see it, the choice is selling SIGT for a penny each today, or choosing to receive STRAKS rewards over time.

Currently, with STAK being worth about 61 cents per coin today, and knowing that the SIGT exchange rate is 4 for 1, that means if I received all of the STRAKS conversion TODAY it would be worth FIFTEEN times what SIGT is worth.

I think it is a no-brainer.  STRAKS either hits or misses, but I think the odds of getting anything worthwhile rest with the conversion.

The timing is dependent upon the number of coins being converted.  If it is 100% of SIGT then it will take about 6 years.  If it is 25% then it will take 1.5 years.

I understand the need for this.  If pricing remains the same, the SIGT conversion to STRAKS will come with an immediate appreciation of more than 1500%.  That cannot be allowed to hit the markets all at once.  It has to take place at much the same pace as the mining that is going on.

I have about 12,500 SIGT that I mined.  Last I checked it was worth a little over 100 bucks.  I gave up mining about 1500.00 of Ethereum at today's values.  If I have any shot of receiving what I gave up in lost opportunity then it is with the exchange.

I finally figured out how it works.  There was a link for an invite to the Discord channel that I found a page or two back in this forum.  Prior to that I was finding a dead end at Discord.  I got into the channel, saw the bot that does the swap, initiated the process with the !swap command as a private message to the bot (not in the channel itself) and within 5 minutes all of my SIGT had been burned with the process leaving me with a bit over 3100 STAK coins to be received over time.

I think the link was https://discord.gg/MuqYpgE

OK.  I found a working link to the Straks Discord channel invite and have followed the instructions.

Right now, the SIGT transfer took place, the coins have been burned and I have provided my Straks address for payment...

When I check my balance, it shows the received SIGT, the total which have been burnt (100% of them) and my STRAKS Entitlement.

I have also provided my STRAKS address from the synced STRAKS wallet.

Over what period of time will the entitled STRAKS be sent my way?
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum 2.0 on: December 13, 2017, 11:58:13 PM
hi can you guide me how to convert sigt through straks many thanks

Cmon its realy very easy.
Try this one method:
Join discourd first https://discordapp.com/channels/370485001109897217/382568722734383104
In channel general type !swap
Bot swapotron will open with u private channel.
Then follow this one

1. User initiates SIGT swap by issuing direct-message to STAK-bot
2. STAK-bot generates new Signatum address and requests SIGT transfer from user
3. STAK-bot monitors address and waits for 15 confirmations
4. STAK-bot notifies user of completion of transfer
5. STAK-bot requests user STAK address for swap process.
6. User provides new STAK address for swap.
7. STAK-bot confirms user registration for swap.
8. End of STAK swap registration process

I have given this a try.  For me... when I set up the discourd access and went to the link you provided I was there by myself with no clue as to what to do.  I am not a Discourd user so maybe I am doing it wrong.  Additional help would be great.

Edit... I found the invitation link on a previous page that enabled me to join the Discord channel needed to find the Swapotron bot.

I want to leave the wallet open for stacking. Reading the guide they say to create the config file with some data. In particular:

rpcuser=your_username
rpcpassword=your_strong_password

I don't understand why should I write my account and the password... They can be used to control the pc in remote... Why the wallet needs those data ??

Can someone explain me this ??

Nobody is able to connect from remote if you specify rpcallowip= 127.0.0.1

You need that rpcuser and rpcpassword only for solomining, but I have given a generell config with which you can solomine/stake. No security issue here.

I din't see "rpcallowip= 127.0.0.1"... OK about this.
But do you really need this to stake ?
I just copy-pasted the generic config file and triangle is orange/yellow showing "Staking enabled for 1 inputs weighing xxxx coins days"...

I did't received any coins until now, but it' just few days that i have my coins (about 10K) in the wallet...

Is it correctly stacking ?

You dont need it for staking as I already stated, its just needed for solomining. - You can leave it out. If it shows "Staking enabled.. " Its working fine!

except its not, many of us arent receiving anything, wake up

How many coins do you have and what are your inputs and coin days?

I have a little over 35,000 TZC and I get a 100 coin reward about twice a week on average.

If you have 1000 coins you are going to be waiting for months before you get anything and with a little bad luck (luck is a part of staking just like it is mining) you could wait a year.

But, to a more important point.  I think TZC is definitely not a shit coin.  There are some shit posters around here however.

Having trouble finding a pool that wills stay connected reliably.

altminer.net disconnects and then will not reconnect.  dutch pool says they are not making payouts.  Aikapool appears to have dropped off to very small hashrates, making it not really much of a pool.

Looks like I go back to mining ETH...
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TZC] TrezarCoin Super-Secure-PoW/PoS on: December 03, 2017, 05:24:01 AM
I can confirm that altminer lost mining capability using ccminer-812-Cuda8.  Either the pool was not providing job data or something else happened.  Miner was still in process but showing nothing other than internal staus of GPU's.  I was up for just 2 hours when it died.

BTW... before TZC got listed on whattomine, I was getting 18% of the pool rewards at times... now getting less than 1%...

Is it worth staking with 100k coins?

Yes it is in my opinion.  You could expect to get an extra 15k coins or so in a year.  You'll probably hit a block (100 coins) every 2-3 days Smiley

Heck... with 35,000 coins I am hitting a block every 4 days.  With 100,000 - should be hitting 5 blocks per week.
