Because Tesla (and all electric vehicles) is one big ponzi scheme and clown Elon tricked many people by adding, then removing Bitcoin support from tesla website, and dumping bitcoin. Everything about Elon is fake, but if some people like to waste money aka bitcoin on steel junk that will become useless soon, go for it. It’s funny to me that you can become the richest person on earth, jumpstart the electric car revolution, give the world a platform of free speech, and help man become a multi-planetary species, yet people will still say bad things about you. I’ll never understand the motivation for people to be so jealous and bitter. It makes me feel better about being harassed though. Envy is real. Admittedly he's done some good. But I can't help but think about some of his antics, Helping society seems to be a byproduct of his actual intents. |

What I don't understand is how does the phone number come into play? How was the phone used rather than the normal email/password login method if 2fa was not enabled? Did the "hacker" send a text to Elon and say "I forgot both my email and my password, please let me disseminate critically important trading info to the general public immediately"?

The technical part that you present is too centralized and therefore is not the best solution. Here's an example from a couple of months ago when you wanted to take a break from the forum, that shouldn't happen if you started this thing. And honestly, there are many reasons why any of us won't, can't or don't want to come to this forum at some point.
This is not any doubt in you or criticism against you, I'm just expressing the first thing I thought when I read your proposal.

I know what you mean. Sometimes members are really passionate about the subjects and can be a little excited to let you know how they feel.
Also some of them have post minimums they make sure to abide by in signature campaigns. So you'll see a lot of filibuster content.
