What's the latest on Random Hash? Is there an estimated launch window yet?
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AML BitCoin Token Sale is now LIVE ! on: August 23, 2018, 11:29:03 PM
Wow. Haven't checked this thread for months. Now it's nothing but newbie accounts extolling the virtues of AML Bitcoin - LOL

Sooo...when's the conversion to AML BTC supposed to happen?

Glad to see that there's still life in this project. I was beginning to think it was just a data harvesting scam.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [STO] Get HYPD! The World's Most Powerful Ambassador Marketing Platform on: August 23, 2018, 05:59:30 PM
Help my understand...you're calling this an STO, but as stated on your website:
Quote
THE OFFERING OF HYPD TOKENS HAS NOT AND WILL NOT BE REGISTERED UNDER THE UNITED STATES SECURITIES ACT OF 1933 (THE “SECURITIES ACT”) OR ANY US STATE SECURITIES LAWS. ADDITIONALLY, THE HYPD TOKENS HAVE NOT AND WILL NOT BE REGISTERED IN THE EUROPEAN UNION OR ANY OTHER JURISDICTION.

How can it be a security token yet not be registered with any legal body? This sounds more like misleading spin than anything else. Please explain.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People say altcoins won't survive on: August 23, 2018, 05:44:35 PM
Let's face it, a lot of ICOs are scams. E.g. raise money, make posts with claims of development, pump the price, sell the funds you raised and the tokens you hold, and slowly disappear back into the shadows. Until regulations fully kick-in (and they are coming), it's down to private investors and the community to do their own due diligence. Some alt-coin projects are great, and will stand the test of time, but a large percentage will fail or take the money and run. That said, scams aside, 75% of venture based startups fail (a great article on this matter can be found here: https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/288769), so we shouldn't deride ETH/crypto or alt-coins in general just because token funded startups tend to follow the same failure rates as other tech startups. Crypto isn't a magic wand that prevents failure. Angels and VCs understand these risks, and thus factor the losses into their risk calculations, whereas the average crypto investor is generally far less informed/experienced and therefore is at far higher risk of making poor investment choices.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WE MUST BELIEAVE IN CRYPTO MARKET! on: August 23, 2018, 05:31:47 PM
Speculation and panic selling. However, if you read the crypto news on a daily basis, you'll see that there is a LOT of very positive news out there. Things are crazy at the moment, but as the legal frameworks and self regulation kick in, we should start seeing more stability. In the meantime, be very careful what you invest in and educate yourself to avoid taking big losses.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]HoweyCoins: the only BitcoinTalk-endorsed ICO - GUARANTEED PROFIT on: August 23, 2018, 05:10:49 PM
Guys, this is a straight up SCAM. Anyone who knows anything about SEC law can spot it a mile off, but if that's not enough for you, here's the government's official stand on this ICO: https://www.investor.gov/howeycoins
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of WAVES Token Airdrops on: April 20, 2018, 02:50:06 AM
Game X was definitely a good one.

Did anyone else participate in the CryptoBar airdrop? I got 1mm GryptoBar, but so far they'r worth a grand total of $0.75 LOL  Grin
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AML BitCoin Token Sale is now LIVE ! on: April 20, 2018, 02:47:57 AM
Yes, yes, we get it. Regulations are coming...That's not news, and not specifically related to AMLBTC.

When's this coin going to be listed on an exchange? So far, all I'm seeing, is a bunch of fake accounts/sycophants defending a so far massively flawed offering. I would also like to sell my coins, but surprise...no exchanges are listing it yet.

Be warned AMLBTC team, I'm still playing nice, but my patience is wearing extremely thin. As you can probably tell from my conversations with your lawyers, I'm not afraid to take legal action. If we don't see something concrete very soon, I will pursue every legal option, including reaching out to contacts at the SEC.

Please provide concrete dates for listings, not just empty promises. This is getting beyond ridiculous.
90  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Boycott Coinmarketcap - allowing ponzi to advertise on: March 12, 2018, 10:53:13 PM
Seems like the do manage the ads directly through their own ad server. You have to submit a request via a Google doc in order to advertise with them. That said, it's difficult to police all the campaigns, and the company in question is supposedly out of Australia, which is supposed to have safeguards in place for ICOs. It would be a good step for them to vet their advertisers a little better, but it's also down to investors to do their research before parting with their money.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's March. Where is the march of the altcoins? on: March 06, 2018, 06:27:50 PM
I wouldn't get too excited yet, but the mood is lifting. It's just taking a little time.

Also, check out this article on hacked: https://hacked.com/cryptocurrencies-have-shown-rare-stability-in-recent-weeks-but-the-bulls-are-coming/

Despite the relative calm we are witnessing, the bulls may be ready to flip things around sooner rather than later. Most of us have absorbed bullish recommendations on bitcoin showing prices destined to reach $22,000 (or is it $25,000, $50,000?), but far fewer have looked into the coin’s bearish cycle in recent years.

As it turns out, bitcoin’s last seven bear-market cycles have averaged 71 days, according to Dan Morehead of Pantera Capital. We crossed the 71-day mark about a week ago. How have prices performed over that period? Very well.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AML BitCoin Token Sale is now LIVE ! on: March 05, 2018, 09:05:38 PM
Dear friend. I very much ask you to stop undermining the credibility of the project at the start! Even if the administration does not behave correctly. We are counting on the growth of the coin price. Yes, there are many unanswered questions, but arranging disassemblies is no good for us. Therefore, I very much ask you, let's wait when something starts to loom.

Why not ask them to answer the questions?? What are you talking about? How am I undermining the project all I did was send my money and ask about it!

Has anyone here ever received coins for the money they sent or has the distribution not taken place yet? From what I read here there is some trouble going on.

I got my tokens last week and everything is working as expected. I have no doubt that AML Bitcoin will become a monster. It seems that the only problem here is with the people who got banned from the Telegram group. Apparently they are doing the same thing here. If you're an investor- don't crap the project or beat up the team. That is stupid! Rome was not built in one day.

If the only issue you see is getting the tokens in the wallet then you should be happy.

I received mine without a hitch too.  I really like your posts guys. Rome was not built in a day and neither is AML, but I believe they are a cutting edge crypto that has immense potential if picked up by governments, banks, institutions and third parties.  I did my homework and cannot wait for the fruitful investment return.  Great job!!

You did your homework, I dont believe you did your homework. Did you know the list of officers were due for the NAC Foundation on 2-28-18 and still have not been submitted to the state for the corporation? Did you know the Business license also expired on 2-28-18?  You did no homework you know nothing! look for yourself!

Did you know the registered agent Robert Harris has 98% of the corporations that he starts all have been revoked/dissolved?

So dont tell me what I see you did no research.

Get the picture now?

Sloowdown, you're really digging for anything here. When you renew any type of paperwork for a business entity, it takes time to be processed in databases. We're not in charge of the other clients that Robert Harris or anyone has; corporate entities around the world are formed and dissoluted daily-- this has nothing to do with us. We do have a Las Vegas office. It is crystal clear that all you want to do is bash AML BitCoin and post anything to have anything negative to say about us. Are you even a Token Holder? It certainly doesn't seem like it. And if you are a Token Holder, it is obvious that you don't want to be. As I mentioned in a post before, if you are in fact a Token Holder, we will refund you so that you no longer have to be a part of the project that you trash on the internet on a daily basis.

I also have a house in Las Vegas and have driven to your address its not a office its like a mail box etc. where you hang your license and they answer your calls, I went in there.

it does not take time to process the paperwork as no business would put up with the state making their business look like it is in default. You are late and will be revoked if you dont pay. Your business license has expired. Why would you wait until the last min even if it was true? If you cant pay your own business license fees and Corporation fees to the state on time how are you going to do anything else? You paid late fees with money we sent you. Thats why I am doing this, let alone you cant count how many tokens you sold. You guys are looking bad really bad!

The Securities and Exchange Commission are having a field day with dodgy ICOs at the moment. They'd probably be quite curious about this one: https://www.sec.gov/reportspubs/investor-publications/complaintshtml.html

Sorry, but that's grade A bull. It typically takes 24 to 48 hrs.

This team and project looks dodgier and dodgier by the minute.

94  Economy / Speculation / Re: see 11K soon ? on: March 02, 2018, 06:15:45 AM
IMHO we'll probably see the same pattern we've seen for the last month or so..e.g. two steps forward, one step back, two steps forward, one step back...etc. Every milestone tests a new confidence level. Analysts predict $40+ by EoY, so $11k shouldn't be a big psychological barrier considering the highs of last year. For me the next real test will be at $15k.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Quantstamp - The First Decentralized Smart Contract Security Platform on: March 01, 2018, 09:34:16 PM
It's unfortunate than none of the planned airdrops are being distributed to US residents. I understand the concerns of whether the tokens can be classed as a security, but doesn't' the fact that they are airdroped bypass that classification? Unless they're seen as a QSP dividend, in which case any airdrops to US residents would be classed as illegal/a security. Can anyone help clarify the grey areas here?
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do? on: February 27, 2018, 11:18:54 PM
Take a deep breath and look at what the market's doing. It's slow going, but it's recovering. Might take a few months, but we'll be back up there soon enough. Patience grass hopper.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Token.Store - New Decentralized Token Exchange on: February 27, 2018, 11:16:52 PM
While it looks prettier than Ehterdelta, I wish you'd taken a different a to deposits and withdrawals. The biggest problem with ED (no, not that type of ED  Grin) -  apart from how slow it is - is the wallet functionality. I'd really recommend finding ways to improve it, or your users will have the same frustrations that they do with ED.

How will China's pivot back to totalitarianism (e.g. Xi Ping's dictatorship) and it's new state wide censorship affect NEO?

Simple truth is that chat rooms can be extremely difficult to moderate. The crypto crowd can be brutal and lack finesse in their interactions, but it seems like the BLUE mods are taking a fairly mature approach here - bar maybe the Wall St jab  Wink
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] EARTH TOKEN - Participate in the $120 trillion natural asset market on: February 27, 2018, 10:46:51 PM
I just checked the official website and find that there is "Exchange news" and there is a logo of Binance, is that means this token will be listed on binance? I think it is very hard to get listed on that exchange and generally there is no news about coming exchange before the ico is over.

I've seen others talk about prospective exchanges ahead of the ICO close, especially when it's been a long ICO. If they really do get listed on Binance, that will be a big win for all of us. And...while the ICO extension is a pain in the backside, they're doing so (or at least this is what we've been told), so that they can launch with a market ready product. If true, it should boost the market value quite a lot. I'm still optimistic. Hopefully our patience will pay off.
