Well, not really sort. It's 2 am here so i wasnt really thinking.
Let me sleep on that.

ok same for me but to be truthful I can sort it, but the beauty of MYSQL is that it will sort if you know what you are doing and it will sort it very well.

pm'd

86  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: BUY BITCOINS FOR CASH on: July 25, 2012, 05:23:56 AM
Proposed solution:
The letter/envelope must be postmarked on the day (or day after?) the price is locked in.
At least in the US, everything is postmarked with a date by the original sorting facility.
87  Economy / Services / I [NO LONGER] need a coder. Details inside. on: July 25, 2012, 05:09:49 AM
I'm sorry the title couldn't be more specific, but here are the details:

Requirements for the script/program/app/whatever:
  • Can be run through Cron on Debian Squeeze.
  • NO GUI.
  • Resource-friendly (I don't have much RAM available, for this is a VPS)
  • I don't care what language as long as it meets the above requirements and I can see the code.

The script needs to do:
I want you to be able to take information from ESPN.com (I currently have an API key), sort information, and put it into a MySQL table(s). This information includes a pitcher's ERA, IP, GS, and a team's bullpen ERA. I might request that you add more data later on, but this looks like that's all for now.

Compensation
Send me your offer (PM). Include any previous work you'd like to show off Wink

Please feel free to post any questions here.
88  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Get PAID to buy bitcoins with cash (USA) on: July 25, 2012, 12:38:01 AM
I'm not sure why more people in the US don't use this, it seems like a no-brainer to me!
...  Am I missing something here?
There is no Chase within 50 miles of my house.

Yep, adding Bank of America might help a lot of people.

This. The closest Chase branch to me is 99.95 miles away.

90  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If you had time machine, would you go back and kill Hitler or buy bitcoins? on: July 21, 2012, 06:43:59 PM
Lessons would not have been learned if not for the Holocaust.

When you look at it from a strictly academic point of view, Hitler was actually a very smart man.

92  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Unauthorized Account Activity on my Mt.Gox Account - Account Compromised/Hacked? on: July 19, 2012, 09:12:47 PM
It means using a Yubikey or Google Authenticator to protect your Mt. Gox account, either by restricting logins, withdrawals, or both.

96  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who's used 5Lines.net on: July 16, 2012, 09:45:58 PM
The max bet used to be larger, and that was back when one bitcoin was worth $20. someone must've taken them to the cleaners. Either way, there's a lot of action available on btcsportsmatch.com. If you're willing to pay more juice, anonibet has worked fine for me with bets as high as 40 BTC. They also have alternate spreads and totals for baseball.

^ I did now. I didn't know where to get that address from.
98  Economy / Gambling / Re: 5Lines.NET | Success on: July 16, 2012, 06:19:49 AM
I'm not getting the activation emails (I am trying to sign up). A mail server error appears at the bottom of the screen. Can anyone contact their support?
99  Economy / Collectibles / Re: CASASCIUS PHYSICAL BITCOIN - In Stock Now! (pic) on: July 15, 2012, 06:40:44 PM
Feel free to use http://casascius.uberbills.com to recover your full public address even if you have a partial address. Don't forget to claim your coin/bar as well!

How does one claim his coin?
Nevermind, I'm blind.
100  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] Subway Gift Cards on: July 14, 2012, 05:30:19 PM
I've got a $10 Subway Gift Card.  With shipping and all, I'm not sure it'd be worth selling at a discount...  But if you just wanted to make a deal, I'd happily mail you the purchase receipt and gift card (I got it as a birthday present) for 1.5 BTC.

You've got a point. I was hoping (and assuming) that a seller would be in the states so (s)he could ship me the card with a regular envelope.

I'll pass on that card Smiley
