81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it December a good time to invest in new ICOS? on: December 10, 2020, 12:06:55 PM
It depend. The time to invest in ICO's does not determine but it is the project itself and who runs it that makes it attracting to invest with. In my own opinion I will only invest if I can see that the team are good and sincere in the promoting of the project, market it and then let the investors earn at the rate in which it is being fair for them and to all stakeholders. But, you can barely see a project like this in the ICO's because most of it are just scam. Hopefully all ICO in the future will be legit and that those people promoting and making it are sincere and does not only after for scamming and running away the money being collected from the crowd for the project to work.
82  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 3 Merits for 3 Newbies. on: December 10, 2020, 11:58:59 AM
I do always admire new members that has the guts of helping other members especially the low ranks. Well, that is not a bad move and for me it could even lift the morale of the newbies out there to be encourage in giving or awarding their merits as what it is intended for especially if you see a posts in which you think was helpful or being a help in your part. 3 merits to be award is already good enough and can get 3 newbies into a jr. member in rank after being qualified in the activity with just one merit.
83  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: {Warning}: Fake Trust Wallet Beta Program site on: December 10, 2020, 11:55:50 AM
Interesting how did you found this fake site, just randomly browsing or searching for specific thing in the search engines? I tried with google to search for Trust Wallet Beta but I cound't find hit on that one. Maybe they have already removed it.

BTW Congrats on reaching 1000+ earned merit Smiley
Yeah just how could they found these fake sites, scam and other related activities? They are really hunters or snipers on scam and other related activities. Anyway, I do not actually believe in so many web wallet sites to which some are fake. I can only recommend some web wallet like BITAMP to be use and has been actually using it to store some bitcoin ready for spending especially now that we are already approaching the bull run. I think there is a small fluctuation but it can bounce back anytime soon for bitcoin.
84  Economy / Economics / Re: I lost my job, how about you guys? on: December 10, 2020, 03:33:05 AM
In this pandemic situation, many people have lost their jobs. For our better future, we should maintain plan B and C so that we can depend on it. Only our main job is not sufficient to lead our life.

I have a lot of friends who have a plan a, b and c but unfortunately they are dependent on the economy of my country, they lose everything because of the pandemic, nobody thought that in times of pandemic only those working online and those who are working in the government that delivers basic needs can survive, their business are catering, party hosting and transportation but all are shutout because of the pandemic.
My neigbhor here that once so rich earning huge monthly from their business does not saving any money knowing that they had at advantage in which their area is a tourist spot and that they do not think that time to happen like this where they don't get any source of income now from the tourist visit in their place. They had invested only on material things, cars the things for comfort and for fun. Most of the time they had always been drinking, always celebrating that means always spending their money they earn. It was an easy money earn thought but it was completely wasted.

Now they are selling little by little the things they own and that include their cars. Sad, but if only they invested it right then they will not going to go back again where they need do for a living and to survive.
85  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to introduce Bitcoin and blockchain to people on: December 10, 2020, 03:20:19 AM
You should not obligate to introduce it to them unless they requested and wanted to know about it. In my case, I had been into that scenario but I never got the problem introducing the bitcoin and blockchain to him because of his interest to learn. This is why it is better to allow others to learn by themselves and just answer the questions they wanted to ask in you if they get confused on other things. This is how they should learn and should undergone a process.
86  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Merit] Hey Bitcoiners! Can You Send Encrypted Messages? on: December 09, 2020, 11:31:38 PM
Seeing signed messages instead of encrypted messages and just plain nonsense in the form of an encrypted messages today.  Make sure you understand what you're doing and not just blindly following a guide.  Encryption isn't that hard of a concept to grasp when you try to learn a little and you can encrypt a message with your own key to practice encrypting and decrypting before encrypting a message with my key for this thread.
we can't expect all of the users here having the right attitude. As long as they complied and get the merits. I had the feeling that this thread of OP with good objective which is to help and learn had been abused by other members by not doing their part instead they are just complying that they think they are right. Learning is not all about compliance and it should be to go deeper and better understanding like when one wanted to encrypt message then one should also know or learn how to decrypt message from other members sent to him/her. This is how a member should learn.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looks like another big company will add crypto as payment soon on: December 09, 2020, 11:26:18 PM
Spotify? I love to listen spotify but I am not using the premium and besides they have no ads in their platform to make them also earn for. However, there are few and I think it would be enough from them to earn from these ads. Anyway, upgrading to premium would be most likely to happen when they will integrate cryptocurrency in payment option. As a spotify user and at the same time crypto user then it will.be easy for me to go in premium now. It is more likely they reaching out to their users to get the spotify premium.
88  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: December 09, 2020, 11:14:33 PM
Dag blockchain is good from what I learn from other regardng to DAG blockchain. It is not like the blockchain where records are being kept and then stored and locked.
Quote
DAG-chain transactions are confirmed between users in topological ordering this according to https://dagcoin.org/dag-chain-explanation-short-simple/amp/. More info from this site is that this means that information with any given value can only go from earlier to later in the sequence and does not have to loop back on itself to gain verification. This cuts out a lot of time making transactions and requires far less power to activate.
So, if DAG to be used then it could be better but I do not think also it could handle a large or volume of transactions just like what blockchain did.

89  Economy / Economics / Re: Money Is Political, Not Technical on: December 09, 2020, 11:07:33 PM
You have a good point though OP but money function will depend on the user. If it is politically motivated then it will be but the main purpose of money is for technicality where it function as a medium for exchange. Without money or fiat currency, the exchange could not determine the efficient value of exchange. Like the old system which has been revive lately here in our place due to pandemic the barter system. Barter system is not an effective form of exchange because some things might be undervalued during the exchange.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: lets imagine world without fiat currency on: December 09, 2020, 10:56:19 PM
Full of chaos, Fiat is there already and design which almost all of the exchange are being successful. There is no way we should abolish the fiat currency for this is the main reason why cryptocurrencynhad became an assey and has the value. Everytime we exchange our fiat to crypticurrency the value of cryptocurrency will change that because it has only limited supply and demand matter. However, if not with fiat currency crypto will not br tagged as an asset for its value came from the demand from its users in exchangr with fiat currency.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins price pump influence bitcoin price Negatively ? on: December 09, 2020, 10:52:45 PM
I don't think that is the reason for the pump in altcoins. Especially in xrp, there is this even in xrp which is the spark token airdrop. We can see this as a reason for the increase in the price of xrp, it does not harm the price of bitcoin or even manipulated by the pumps of it.
I see whales are the main reason to play along with this coin. It could also be the owner of the coin in which he could pump up or pump down the coins due to his huge holdings. It might be not good if you as a trader will not be able to get along with during the pump and dump. However, if you know and smart enough with the situation of some altcoins like XRP then you can earn in it even greater than investing in bitcoin. Just always remember the best time when to invest your money in these altcoins.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finexbox hanging transaction on: December 08, 2020, 01:50:22 PM
Is it the finexbox or the network if the coin you had been doing transaction.

Some coin had their own network like the ETH, BTC, EOS and other coins out there. Other coins too are using other's network like the erc20 tokens which uses the eth network. Usually some network may clogged with transactions and that usually or commonly happen to btc or eth. In your case since you do not mention what kind if transaction you made, most likely the reason is the heavy traffic of transactions being made that usually clogged or  will keep you waiting.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I guess bounty hunters really kill projects on: December 08, 2020, 01:30:08 PM
Yes, bounty hunters are here to earn and whether you like it or not the receive rewards will be converted and will be dump. Usually bounty hunters do not believe in a project and they are hesitant to sell their rewards. This is the usual scenario and whether we like it or not this is the real scenario and actual which is happening. We can't force bounty hunters either to hold their rewards.
94  Other / Meta / Re: Null “plagiarism” on: December 08, 2020, 01:26:05 PM
You like to give your haters the benefit of the doubt to which you claim that you made plagiarize but you hid it and that you wanted your haters to go look for it? Well, that would be interesting on how things will go as time pass by. I am also interested to see the reserve posts on what could it be since you decide it to keep it for yourself. Good luck for the haters for them to figure out your secrets.
95  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You got help? It would be polite to say "thank you" and give feedback. on: December 08, 2020, 01:11:57 PM
It is always a very good attitude to always keep the good manners and right conduct. It is always been taught in the school but slowly people tend to forget it as they grew up. I do not if the education system was the problem or is it the new environment that making new generations do not know how to use the good manners and right conduct.

Here in the forum, I see lot of inquiries too from newbies that some may say thank you and some may not as long as they get their answers and they do not mind the one member or acknowledge about the sharing of ideas. This is how the forum is all about being created to exchange ideas and to learn.
96  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Get Funds For agriculture Project on: December 08, 2020, 07:55:57 AM
Cut your cloth according to your size, so far you have tried to raise the money and unable to, I will only advice you to look for any governmental loans or grants for peoe that want to do agricultural business in your country, maybe you are going to get help or support from them. Or if you are rich to an extent, this can attract investors.

maybe you are correct  but giving try to race some funds to this type project can be give motivation to connect with international inverters and get there attention because investing in lands specially agriculture lands is the future because you get income from nature you just need to prepare for it.
and if you invest 1000$ you will get company share and also get lifetime income in every 2 to 3 month based on income agriculture project generate.we only looking for total of 0.45m$ as investment to buy 30acre of land if you invest 20000$ we can offer 1acre of land fully developed within agriculture project and you will be named owner of it.and company will pay income in every 2 to 3 month
Crossing boundaries like having an international investors needing some documents before one can just directly send that money to anyone whom does not even know. Money is so hot and this is why all are careful not to engage any people here especially if it talks about money.

And you mention that you still need to buy the lot where in fact it is not needed for one can rent it cheaply especially if it is a long term leasing. I doubt you have a good plan. You want to start big but you do not know how hard it is to manage that big farm. You only just said that you are good in it yet that is not the basis of being a good farmer. It is the strategy to make it big not just by asking it here to make it happen. I know some farmers started small but now are having huge farm. They do no own the land but he was able to own it after several years.
97  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitamp Bitcoin Web Wallet - Send & Receive Bitcoin Instantly! on: December 08, 2020, 07:44:25 AM
I am new to bitamp web wallet. I created it instantly which the web provided a seed phrase for the wallet. It is so nice smooth and easy to use bitcoin wallet. I can recommend this to my friends and relatives that are also into bitcoin.

Is there any by chance that the web walley could create an app in which we will going to use instead of manually or bookmark the site for us to access? I prefer an app that could also be connected to a 2FA like mobile phone or email for verification purposes only every transaction that will going to be made to keep us aware that if by chance someone has access our account and made withdrawals then we will be notified thru a code provided as a 2FA before one can proceed into the transaction.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption: Universities now Accepting Bitcoin for Tuition Payment? on: December 06, 2020, 12:55:28 AM
They are only doing their business and that accepting bitcoin as an option of payment could be mean nothing and are just part of business. In the end if we ca  see the transaction then definitely we can see transaction like btc-btc directly fiat value in which probably most establishment who accept btc will going to accept it to after receiving it another platform will be used to convert btc to fiat. Of course, if you are a business owner and wanted to get clear or net profit then you shoulf a stable currency which is more likely the fiat unless also tge teachers wanted to receive salary as btc but the value should not be pegged to stable currency and that means that the teacher salary will not be fixed and will depend on the btc market value and that would be complicated.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why make New Crypto Exchanges on: December 05, 2020, 08:32:35 AM
Lately i see many new crypto exchanges / shitcoin exchanges.
I find that creating new exchanges these days isnt profitable anymore, why would someone switch from a long known exchange like binance/coinbase/etc. to some brand new exchange? Even with a marketing campaign, theres not much you can innovate. All exchanges that promise "no KYC fiat trading" is either a scam or will be shut down due to AML policies.
Exchanges which allow anyone to list their own coin ( exists ) are very vulnerable to Dip and Ditch schemes.

Overall i find working on a new Crypto Exchange a waste of time, money and effort unless you have some truly insane idea.

Am i wrong? Correct me if im wrong, willing to hear all your opinions.

Why study medicine and become a doctor while there are hundreds of thousands of doctors that are very good at what they are doing?

Why become a software engineer and make apps while there are apps with the same functionality exist already?

Why open up a Chinese bistro when there are many?

Why?

Because they can do it and they can still make money of it. That's why.

Nice answer. Hopefully more and more reputable decentralized exchange will come up and ready to be used especially in this bullish trend for bitcoin where one can sell or buy bitcoin without getting scared of being account being held freeze for investigation for some irregularities. We know that this usually happen especially during a bull run where bitcoin can record the ATH. I think for now bitcoin could go either 20K$-25k$ and that will depend on the market and the demand from the people trusting bitcoin.
100  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies/Jr members please don't beg for merits. on: December 05, 2020, 08:27:31 AM
Despite the rulings OP still gave the member a merit. This is an act maybe violated by the one who ask or beg for it but it is also the fault if the one giving the merit. Well, it is not bad though to gave merits and it is a discretion for the one to give it or not. If I were the one being asked or beg for the merits then I would suggest for him to post something quality so that I can give him the merit/s.
