81  Economy / Speculation / Re: How come BTC is not at least $75,000 yet? on: February 03, 2022, 07:21:36 PM
What's the rush?

Bitcoin is working as expected, this is how it compares to the USD in the long term

The rush? I've never sold a bit of BTC since 2013 and I'm starting to get bored, that's the rush. I want to feel the fruits of my labor too. Don't plan waiting 10 more years.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Man who lost 7500 bitcoin in a landfill asks gov't he wants to dig it up on: February 03, 2022, 01:55:48 PM
I'd offer to help this guy find the HDD for 50 BTC (he only pays if we find it). If he can show me the location I wouldn't mind searching for it, after all, why not. He can keep the rest, it would sound like an adventure.
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: How come BTC is not at least $75,000 yet? on: February 03, 2022, 12:02:44 PM
The USD is losing value. The EUR is losing value. All national coins are inflationary, energy prices are through the roof and still BTC is only $36,500! People should buy BTC like crazy, this is something I don't understand, they keep using the crappy FIAT instead. FIAT will all make you poor! Don't come crying here after when BTC hits $100K, but FIAT is the worst investment someone can make these days. BTC is still cheap as peanuts considering its potential, too bad people don't see it, have fun staying poor and keep making those bankers rich. Unbelievable.

Well, fiat money are not an investment. They are a medium of exchange, which is necessary for everyone to buy food and pay the bills.Unfortunately you still can't use BTC to buy food and pay the bills.
Perhaps you should be making such "angry" posts on social media, rather than a Bitcoin forum.
99.99% of the people here are Bitcoin supporters. You don't have to convince them that Bitcoin is the future.
It's weird that the BTC price dropped from 38K to 36K USD in one day.I guess that the market turbulence will continue until the end of the winter. The bull run is postponed for the future.

For people keeping money in the banks FIAT IS an investment, but a lousy one.

It's my right to be angry and it's your right to not agree with me.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Remember Bitfinex Exchange Hack of 2016 ? The stolen bitcoins are moving! on: February 03, 2022, 11:22:52 AM
People who steal things or get them through bad ways will never really enjoy the "fruits" of their labor. Karma has a funny way of striking back and biting their a**, so the joke is on them, time will tell.

86  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Am I the only one who loves BTC but hates the Metaverse idea and the NFTs? on: February 02, 2022, 02:58:47 PM
I don't find any real usability for this Metaverse: actually I think it will only make people and society dumber and closer to the Idiocracy movie. Spending time online wearing some stupid glasses it's a no no for me. Also the NFTs are a waste of time and money, I wouldn't buy useless digital shoes and buildings. I love BTC and have diamond hands but these 2 things I'm not a fan of and I know I will never be. Society needs to become wiser not dumber. Living in a digital realm sucks, I'm a human being not a stupid machine. Rant over.

Congratulations, hard work pays off! Now cherish the 0,5 BTC and work on getting to your first 1 BTC! To the Moon together we go, well done Bitcoiner, keep up the good job Wink
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Still haven't sold a bit of BTC since 2013... if I can do it you can do it too! on: February 02, 2022, 09:31:05 AM
FIAT is the worst thing to keep your money in. If you cash out BTC buy a house right away, buy a property, but don't leave FIAT in the bank. Those are wasted money. BTC is safe and will give you back 100x compared to the inflationary FIAT. I wouldn't keep more than $50,000 in FIAT money ever. Those will lose their value with every passing year.

How on earth that you afford to Keep holding mate? meaning you are a wealthy person that denies taking your big profit because you can still afford holding while you are one to be considered as Early Adopter ?

Man you are so great and this post is worth sharing, How i wish i have the guts to do how you portray your role being a Bitcoin Holder.

I'm not rich but at the same time I'm confident that I may never win the lottery, so BTC is probably my only chance to become rich and live a worry free life so until I see it happening won't sell a bit Smiley
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Still haven't sold a bit of BTC since 2013... if I can do it you can do it too! on: January 26, 2022, 02:39:29 PM
A real btc maxis you are, even when btc hit ath of 69k you still held through and was not tempted to sell not even a small amount!
I guess if you are determined to do something plus you have the capability (meaning another resource) you can do it, you are the real definition of a diamond hand,
May I ask if you ever thought of selling at some point in the future or it is just going to hodl till the end?

I'd love to sell and buy back but what the price will be I have no idea: a new ATH that's for sure (I think we will have this 100%). I probably have to feel it's time and act accordingly. Even if I won't be able to buy back still not a bad deal.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Still haven't sold a bit of BTC since 2013... if I can do it you can do it too! on: January 26, 2022, 02:36:31 PM
Surprised that you have such patience. I wonder if it was better to sell not so long ago?

BTC climbed 2 times to the 65-69K range and then fell to the 30-35K range. These 2 were great opportunities to sell and buy back. But you never know before so I don't regret a thing. There is no guarantee for anything.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Still haven't sold a bit of BTC since 2013... if I can do it you can do it too! on: January 26, 2022, 11:44:39 AM
Hi everyone, it's been awhile, just wanted to tell you that I still haven't sold a bit of BTC since 2013... if I can do it you can do it too!

Some of you may say it's a dumb decision or risky, but I'm all for BTC and positive about it. To the Moon!

It's very easy, if you can afford it. Most people can't.

It's not easy because I'm not a rich person. But I dream to become one one day and this is what keeps me hodling. It's hard but doable.

With this sentence, your post becomes more valuable. But some people have to sell their BTC, because they have to ... that was what I meant.

When you have to, you have to. Honestly I will probably cash out some in 1-2 years too cannot wait forever. Time will tell.

@virtualdn, does this mean that you have not made any transactions since then in the sense that you have used BTC as a currency? It is your personal decision what to do with your assets, but Bitcoin is primarily conceived as a currency, and I, therefore, believe that everyone should buy something for BTC from time to time - and then have the right to complain about why Company A or T does not want BTC as a payment option.

I hold most of my BTC, but that doesn't stop me from using it regularly as a currency - or selling a smaller amount if I need some cash at the moment - which I consider a better option than asking for a loan from a bank.

But of course I did, I sold all my Dogecoins to get more BTC  Grin But I know what you mean.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will owning 0.01 BTC really make you rich? on: January 26, 2022, 10:57:26 AM
I think in the future 1 BTC can make you rich but also 0.1 BTC can be nice money. You never know what can happen in the long run. But BTC will still exists in 50 years that's for sure. (if the world will last too Smiley )

97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will everyone still believe in Elon Musk? on: August 08, 2021, 08:46:40 AM
I will never trust this narcissistic clown. Actually I never did. He may be rich, but his character is ugly and in my eyes it doesn't worth a dime. It's a pity so many people follow him like sheep, but I guess it's their loss not mine.

Once a clown, always a clown. His pride will bring him his fall.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm now all in BTC. All eggs in one basket! on: July 26, 2021, 08:42:27 PM
I'm curious, how it's been working out for you, OP? I'm thinking about selling all my remaining coins and turn them into BTC.
I just stumbled across this thread after un-ignoring Bitcoin Discussion, and I'm curious as well--though if what OP said is true, he's been accumulating bitcoin since 2013 and probably hasn't sold any of his stash.  Presumably with the price increase we've seen in the past day or two, he's still doing just fine.

I don't know about keeping all of your investment money in bitcoin for the long term, however.  OP will likely still be in the black even if bitcoin were to lose half its value (if he's holding onto 2013 coins), but if I were him I'd probably diversify just a little.  Normally I'd suggest the stock market, but after well over a decade of bull market craziness I'm not sure now is the best time to buy stocks.

OP, you still around?  Maybe you can chime in and give us an update on any changes to your portfolio, etc.

Still all in BTC, doing fine, no headaches watching the shitty coins. Not planning to sell even if BTC price is going up right now. Might sell a small amount once in the xxx,xxx range and then hopefully will buy it back, I'm sure we will see a new ATH this year.
99  Economy / Speculation / BTC is growing, great, however it's still extremely cheap! U need diamond hands! on: July 26, 2021, 06:35:56 PM
So it's growing back to 40k, however don't be fooled to sell, because BTC is still very cheap. The potential is there, it's huge, BTC will still exist in 5 years, BTC will still exist in 10 years. Just imagine...

What I want to remind everyone is that BTC is still extremely cheap, so make sure your diamond hands are now stronger than never, the whales are still lurking in the deep waters.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will everyone still believe in Elon Musk? on: July 24, 2021, 01:48:17 PM
We are not hypocrites, we support Bitcoin. What do you think we are going to do?
I agree. In fact, the people who are criticizing Elon are just small people and they are children. Musk is also just a human, which means he has his own arguments, reasoning, and actions with his thoughts on bitcoin issues. Maybe people in the community are too sensitive to these states. They even only look at Elon as a sole reason to do commercial costs in the market. They spam Elon's account. That is shameful.

You don't say. You mean an adult who's 50 years old and behaves on Twitter like a 10 year old is actually a grown up adult? Fantastic! Good luck with baby Elon.
