I would agree with this as far as the Western religions go (christianity, islaam, jewish, mormon, etc) But, the eastern "religions" are more philosophy than mythical beliefs. Buddhism, for example, teaches a person to look inward for answers rather than blaming everything on some imaginary sky god. Eastern religions teach that you alone are responsible for your salvation, not some magical fairy in the sky I'm not saying eastern religions are perfect, but at least they don't go around committing genocide all the time |
