81  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Importance of Having a Trading Mentor on: September 19, 2024, 04:40:32 AM
Selling courses on the internet it's a big business market in the world from the last couple of years, it's very much profitable, they never share or disclose their losses in the trading, they will share only success history, then audience are attracted to buy their courses, some traders even make sure about guaranteed profits before selling their courses but a newbie trader will realize their mistakes after buying such courses.

selling courses is old business though, most of people don't get easily lured these days as more and more people are spending time to do background check and research on the course seller and just won't spend some money buying their courses, but trend has shifted to CT and KOL, basically building image and grinding followers that your voice matters enough in the crypto space to earn you some money.

when it comes to trading though, there are so many of these CT that offers trading signal while also offering VIP class which might offer mentorship as well, but I'd say if people really trying to find mentor through online, be sure to check on their trading history, if they don't disclose their trading histories, then I can be sure that they are just trying to sell useless mentorship, only find a mentor that really have good history, background and is transparent enough for them to still be comfortable on sharing their mistakes.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opportunities I wish I had Not Missed on: September 19, 2024, 04:32:42 AM
kinda missed the opportunity with DOGE before it's becoming a big thing, back then it was cheap as heck but now it's among the biggest coin by market cap you can guess how much profit I could've made by just holding DOGE alone all the way until when DOGE hitting ATH, but don't need to keep regretting it though, I see opportunity everywhere in current crypto space, aside from the project you mentioned, there are many other project, the money still flows heavily in crypto space, projects that got funding by the half billions still exist and is there for you to farm, so really as long as there's still opportunity everywhere I will just try my luck.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10000x in 4 months - Possible? on: September 18, 2024, 06:44:24 AM
well it depends on the chain hype honestly, frankly speaking pulsechain TVL is just roughly a fraction of solana only which means harder to pump out of nowhere for some random token in the chain

only 300m TVL compared to massive 3 billion TVL of solana, since I don't have the sufficient information about what this token SEC is all about, I assume it's just some random token deployed in pulsechain only available in dex, since the market cap is so low anyway even eliminating 4 zeroes should be piece of cake but I always assume that there's people who bought at the bottom ready to dump it before it can even eliminate 4 zero.

if you want to ride hype train, maybe finding underrated gems in solana is better.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the SWIFT system ever be replaced by XRP? on: September 18, 2024, 06:36:54 AM
I don't think even 10 years into the future that XRP will eventually replace SWIFT though, the main reason why SWIFT despite already said to be outdated by you still thrive because it just works moreover it's robust and already tested in regard of its reliability.

when we talk about banking system like SWIFT, we also talk about adoption and most of the banks and financial institutions aren't gonna migrate to other system just because it's old. so it's not just matter of creating "better" technology and somehow all banks and financial institutions suddenly migrate their things over to the newer system. migration is expensive and most bank just back out from doing so.

despite XRP has been winning on their court case I just can't really see them replacing SWIFT after all, bank keep fragmented and legacy backend and they will do the same this time around. therefore I don't expect XRP to grow in term of price that much unless it can do what it's really promised to do which is adopted by the banks.

Al Nassr have sacked head coach Luis Castro after recent poor results

The main candidate to become the new manager for Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates is Stefano Pioli.

Discussions underway between Pioli and Al Nassr 🇮🇹

Source. Fabrizio Romano.

You forgot to mention an interesting fact. Castro got sacked after claiming he was never sacked in 28 years of his career. It seemed to me that if Saudi tries to prove that they are more than Castro. And at this point, Castro indirectly asked Saudi to sack him.

Also, it would be good for Milan if Pioli signs a new contract with Al Nassr. So they can get rid of his contract and won't have to pay his wages for a season.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 17, 2024, 04:45:08 PM
I also think Borussia Dortmund can beat Club Brugge. Brugge is not a team that can challenge them. I accept that they played well, but Borussia Dortmund is a much stronger and more effective team. The Champions League is starting and we will experience this pleasure together tonight.

I have a different perspective from yours. Dortmund is far superior to Brugge, based on UCL stats. They can beat Brugge. But that's gonna be through a fierce battle since they're gonna play an away game against Brugge. This means a draw is likely to happen.

Also, Brugge tops the Belgian Pro League. They should not be underestimated. I'm going 70:30 for this match. Though Dortmund is clearly favored here, a draw may happen.

87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: September 17, 2024, 03:29:03 PM

A game full of intense competition and challenging will take place in just a few hours with Real Madrid vs Stuttgart. In this game, there is a big difference between the squad of Real Madrid team and the squad of the opposite team Stuttgart team. But in this match I can guess that Real Madrid will definitely win this match, because Real Madrid team has Vinicius Jr., Mbappe, Rodrigo in attack department and opposite team Stuttgart team does not have such experienced players in attack department.

Real Madrid is clearly being favored to win the game against Stuttgart soon. This is because they have a squad full of superstars. Though they played poorly in their recent La Liga games. They rarely scored from their gameplay. But, they always played differently in UCL. I'm very optimistic about them. Also, with the comeback of  Bellingham to the squad, he adds more depth to our squad. It increases our confidence to completely destroy our opponent soon.

The odds below show bookmakers expect Real Madrid to win easily.

1.35 for Madrid is quite tempting, you know; this is because they have a very big chance of winning the game.

Real Madrid's opponent, Stuttgart, had been missing lots of their key players. They're not posing a big threat to Madrid.

88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 16, 2024, 03:05:14 PM
Rome start is beyond delusional, is one of the worst starts ever and also they dont have a good or experience coach in the bench, De Rossi can be a superhero por Rome but as a coach he is not good at all i think.

You cant start a league in this way dropping points in every single match, now you have a gap to european spots and not talking about being a contender, maybe all the season is in the can trash now.

This is what Roma's management wanted. They want to see their club back to its mediocrity instead of back-to-back European Finals. And DDR helps him to achieve that.

Dude, the real Roma fans must miss him badly.

In short, Mourinho was not the problem. This season shows that its internal issues are the main problem.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: September 16, 2024, 02:47:49 PM
Here we go again!!!! UCL is coming back with new face!!

We're going to see two opening matches of UCL.

1. Juventus vs PSV

2. Young Boys vs Villa

I also provides the odds for those matches below.

This is my bet

Although i pick Juventus to win the game against PSV, but i consider this as a very risky decision. Juventus has been so poor in their recent games. Their attackers are completely losing their sharpness. They have terrible build up, and defence. But i bet on their superiority over PSV.

For the game YB vs Villa, i have nothing to complaints about. That's very obvious villa gonna win it.

What do you guys think?

90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2024/2025 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: September 16, 2024, 02:22:12 PM
There is going to be a wonderful game waiting for us next week! It is Manchester City - Arsenal at Etihad Stadium. What do you say for this game?  Huh

Let's have a look at the odds by the way.

Such attracting odds for Manchester City win right?  Grin  The thing is Manchester City can't beat Arsenal in the league for two games. The last one at Etihad ended up with a 0-0 draw. But I feel like Guardiola will finally manage to break Arteta's defense. I just see them better than ever. I must say I'm really curious about Haaland's effort at the same time. He started superbly with 9 goals you know.

Haaland had one important problem before. He wasn't able to contribute much in big games. Let's see whether it will change this season. I expect Guardiola to be the happy manager at the end.

Yeah, that's quite interesting odds. Though Manchester City's odds are slightly down compared to the last days.

Arsenal will likely use almost the same lineup against Tottenham. This gives City an edge, as they are in great form with perfect starts. Also, Haaland seems in his best form now. It will be interesting to see how fierce the upcoming match will be.

But I think I'd rather take a safe bet on this game. BTTS is unlikely to happen, and i consider Double Chance or Under as a good choice from this game. Either of the clubs is often playing safely to ensure they are not losing full points. That's why i think we will see only fewer goals to be scored.
91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 16, 2024, 01:32:23 PM
Oumar Solet is officially free agent, it's really weird Salzburg don't want to extend his contract since he performed really well in the last two seasons. His salary is cheap, he got paid for 250K Euros, while there are many players they paid for 3-4x from his salary.

Unfortunately only small and unpopular leagues still open for transfer window, he choice either join Galatasaray or Fenerbahce, or playing in Saudi Professional League.

I'm very disappointed to see how Salzburg treated Oumar Solet so badly. They sent him to the Liefiring for training. They hoped to offload him to the Heidenheim, but he failed the medical test. And Salzburg has no interest to offer him a contract extension.

Oumar Solet is now a wasteful talent caused by the internal problem of Salzburg. So far, no offer came from the turkish club. He is gonna be jobless.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops speculations thread on: September 16, 2024, 04:09:47 AM
Hey guys...  Anybody know a good enough VPS hosting service that's cheap for running testnet and validator nodes?  I'm preparing myself to get into Monad's testnet to run a node.  I might not get the nad role but it doesn't hurt to keep trying to get into other avenues to get eligibility for their airdrop.  I really feel it's gonna be a big one and a gateway for more airdrops in their ecosystem if you are eligible for Monad.

Like seriously...  I'm getting my stimmy.  Lmao.  Cheesy Cheesy

https://contabo.com/en/ — I have used it before for running Zora node for couple months, experience was smooth. I haven't come across any competitor that offers same specs at prices of contabo (If anyone comes across one, do let me know too).

contabo is good for running node their plan are quite solid but their setup fee is such a PITA honestly everytime i forgot to renew VPS it means i'm paying setup fee and the setup fee is quite expensive for people that don't plan to run the VPS yearly like we the node runner.

but overall solid if we disregard that.

the plan from amazon and google cloud just drains the money if it's for running node, I wouldn't use them. i'm hoping monad testnet come in november so I can buy VPS for node with massive black friday discount.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum Flip Bitcoin in Future? on: September 16, 2024, 04:06:18 AM
Nothing is impossible in crypto world as we have seen a coin which surpassed bitcoin in price but for a shorter period of time. Bitcoin is the Mother currency of all digital currencies so it impossible for any currency to surpass bitcoin in price. Ethereum has potential to reach 10k$ in an year or two but the price of Bitcoin is 20 times of Ethereum. The only way to surpass Bitcoin is bictoin dropped to 3k$ which is impossible.
other scenario would be if there are someone with so many BTC in their wallet lost access to it essentially burning it and making the circulating supply lesser than it was, since BTC is capped at 21 million, meanwhile ETH is uncapped therefore it allow the market cap to keep growing as long as the price stays the same (which is unlikely IMO).

therefore I wouldn't bet on ETH flipping bitcoin market cap, even right now so many bad thing is exposed in ETH further fading its reputation.

the competition for altcoin is tough and I could see there might be some coin that can actually flip ETH instead in the future because ETH lacks big investment from big investor. even the ETF is not looking promising.
94  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What motivates you as a trader? on: September 15, 2024, 02:36:35 AM
My best motivation is the freedom trading offers from the regular 9-10 hours jobs . The money, the time and most especially my inner satisfaction and peace as I passionately love trading. Trading  have help to build my patience level and tolerance.
is it really because of peace when trading ultimately requires someone to keep watching the market for potential sideways Grin.
I could never find my peace in trading when I did it back then, good thing I already backed out and instead switched over to just investment.

but I can see majority of people are motivated to turn their small capital into big capital with trading in short time so that they can get foundation to build up portfolio in investment and I see that as a logical choice.
because investing with small capital is essentially just wasting time, can't afford waiting entire year to get 10% APY where our investment is just $100 that means $10 yearly definitely does not make sense Grin.
so for some people trading is the way.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is hamster gonna make it? on: September 15, 2024, 02:29:23 AM
Just like Dogs and Not coin this another meme token/tap game token willjust be over hype then later on suffer a huge dump without price recovery long term. Hamster Kombat was heavily farm already by huge number of users while the liquidity for the exchange is not a charity to consistently supply just to use by airdrop receiver as exit liquidity.

It's a guarantee that trading volume will explode on early listing but don't expect something big in long term when it comes to profitability on this type of project.

You should dispose once you received the token and never plan to buy back or accumulate more on tokens that has a huge percentage distributed to the community for free.
the project isn't really sustaining from the start, entire business just revolve around giving task to people to get revenue and in return they give back to the participants the token allocation, but somehow this get listed in binance which come out as a surprise in my end.

for the people who have been doing the task since ages they really deserve the reward if the reward is good enough, can't imagine myself doing so many tasks everyday with no sight of reward.

but i will expect the reward will be more or less the same as CATI, the community will not get too much reward but not too small either.

current premarket price looking good at least

hope the rumour that they allocated just 1% for TGE is not true, because binance also imposed new rules about majority of the token allocation going to community for their new listing.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing of catizen token announced on: September 15, 2024, 02:23:46 AM
What is the eligibility criteria for this token airdrop
silver and above is eligible even though with just silver, you're prolly gonna get rewarded really small amount around 2-20 CATI which isn't even worth it to withdraw in my opinion if the price isn't above $0.5.

I don't expect much from the CATI airdrop but I'd say people the reward heavily multiplied from the fish spent so there's one thing you need to note if you somehow joined the airdrop.

I'd just be waiting for the price to went up first before withdrawing my CATI though, i don't believe at all the current pre-market price can still hold for long I think it will dump in the future.
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 14, 2024, 09:19:10 AM
So the transfer season is now over for all leagues and to summarise, there were not so many transfers this year compared to the last few years, but there were a few very crazy ones such as Mbappe to Real Madrid and that free of charge or that Oshimen did not move to the Premiere League but to Galatasaray, even if it is only a loan transfer I find it crazy that such a player will play in the turkish league.
I only consider the transfer of Victor Osimhen to Galatasary after Chelsea deal and other clubs like PSG failed. It sounds crazy but it seems Osimhen had no option since he was somewhat frustrated by Napoli.

The transfer of Mbappe to Real Madrid isn't crazy and neither was it surprising. This is because from last season, we had already known how it will be. And nothing different has happened.

Mbappe's Saga had been running for a few years, and many people have correctly predicted it. There's nothing surprise from this transfer.

It's kinda different to the Osimhen's Saga. There have been many things happened on his transfer path. It started with Napoli. They set a 130m release clause. Then, Newcastle made a 100m offer, but Napoli rejected it. Even when received some offers from PL clubs, but none predicted that he would be ended on Turkish league.

Osimhen is wanting to prove himself quickly so he can go to a bigger club at the mid season. That's gonna happen only if he will able to build a good chemistry with his teammates at Galatasaray.

I'm looking forward for which club that would pay 75m for someone with 1 yr left on their contract next yea.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Presidential Debate Funny Markets:Will Harris say Weird? Will Trump say Bitcoin? on: September 14, 2024, 07:27:30 AM

Also Who will win the presidential debate tonight?

What are your predictions?

Have you come across any other interesting betting markets for the debate?

No matter what the arguement pretty sure everyone will bet that Trumps win the debate or atleast (Hoping). We all knew Trump got a card on cryptocurrency and got platform for it as well so everyone here might be supporting Trump, I guess no matter what the odds on betting here we all want to bet on Trump.

It seems like the general public think that bitcoin’s price or market movement is a reflection of Trump’s chances in the election. Many media outlets claim that it’s Harris who won and by a large margin which what caused the crypto market to decline. But I think another factor is that there was no mention of crypto in the debate. The lack of opinion and stance about bitcoin and crypto at large has rattled investors.

That's true. But, Trump's performance in this election did not affect Bitcoin's price. It would be strange if it did. In fact, Bitcoin is tied to the US stock market, which surged last night. It's the reason why Bitcoin surged a few percents.

A misconception arose because Trump always mentioned Bitcoin. It made people wonder if his election progress affected the market.

Maybe they expected Trump to mention crypto in one of his answers regarding economic policies but instead the debate finished with not one mention of it.

It'll never happen. Even Bitcoin as a strategic reserve will unlikely to happen.

I remind you the most important rule " never believe in politician".

99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2024/25 Season on: September 14, 2024, 03:01:10 AM
Here is the schedule for Galatasaray:

We are the luckiest Turkish team among the ones joined the Europa League.  Grin  Here I can call Tottenham as a huge threat because they are even favoured for the trophy the most. Even though we are playing home against them, we still look likely to lose to them. But no problem at all about that. Because the rest of the draw is pretty good anyway.

Ajax would be another team to compete hard against us but we should be able to show our strength easier to the remaining ones. If we can't collect so many points in this fixture then we had better quit already.  Tongue

But you for got to add that if Dynamo could be a potential threat like Totenham and Ajax. And remember that we will meet two scandinavian teams, they're very difficult to beat. Also, i can't even consider playing an away game against Nordic team such as Malmo is gonna be easy game for us.

The most important rules is that do not underestimate any team. In european competitions are so hard to predict, and this even much harder compared to the UCL.

Our UCL qualifier performance was terrible. Given our football, I can't say we're lucky to have those fixtures.

We must be working even harder to improve our performance.
100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2024/2025 on: September 14, 2024, 02:45:24 AM
Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest

Are any of you actually paying attention to any of these important matches?
This is one of the interesting games to look forward to this week. Liverpool have won their first 3 games and this is the match of the 4th week which also has a big chance to be won. The game will start in the next 15 hours - I hope all Arne Slot's plans for the team go smoothly.

On the other hand - a win in this game could be the perfect moment if Manchester City drop points against Brentford. Of course - I would be happy if that happened, Liverpool would be leading instead of Manchester City.  Grin

I expect Slot's squad to get a clean sheet from this game. Nottingham is a weak team, and it's gonna be so easy for LFC to beat 'em with slotball. But I'm only wondering whether Slot sticks with the same front three like their previous games or not.

This is because LFC is gonna meet Ac Milan in their first match in UCL, and to finish in the top 8, they must have won it. That's why I think Slot may rest Salah. He'll need to be fit for the UCL game against Milan.

Slot hinted in his interview at possible changes. I hope to see Nunez in the starting lineup against Nottingham. I predict 2-0 LFC win.
