241  Economy / Economics / Re: Does halving really create deflation? on: November 28, 2019, 09:58:07 AM
Not really, there are many factors that could cause deflation and halving is just one of them. You see all those coin that have burning every few months aren't really increasing their price. People are hyped with the halving but it's actually just the halvening of mining rewards and in my opinion will not do significant change. But, if people are hyped up with the halving it can for sure create deflation because people believe that bitcoin will become scarce and people will raise their price standart once halvening commence.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cyber criminals are using Youtube to install-Crypto jacking software on: November 28, 2019, 05:02:44 AM
This is already happening for so many years. even Youtube having so much link to malware in many videos disguising as hacking tool or even cheating tool for certain games. I thought that people could figure it out that such a thing is phishy but I guess i'm wrong considering that the infected device from this Crypto jacking software alone is already 500,000 devices. What makes me afraid the most is chrome extension that could possibly contain virus and could log my activities unbeknown by myself than these link to install random software which kinda obvious.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💩 We are now in the “shitcoin” season? 💩 on: November 27, 2019, 05:29:31 PM
Looks like I see you frustrated with the situation that is happening now. Don't get your hopes up with speculation, many are playing the market today.
I see the current prices are also still in reasonable condition, not surprising. Swing high and swing low always occur nearing the end of the year.
Well if we are talking about reasonable price almost every price point for altcoins like Ethereum or some kind always reasonable considering that these top alts climbing from the bottom with really low price at ICO and here we are now thousands percent up compared to initial price. The current trend of market is crushing alts as bitcoin dominance is rising. It is to be expected that some alts will get dumped so hard. People are all about crushing shit alts nowaday.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Upbit exchange was hacked. 342,000 ETH lost on: November 27, 2019, 04:01:34 PM

UPD2: Funds in the amount of 342,000 ETH were stolen from the Upbit wallet, funds began to be received again, in different amounts, it seems from the exchange team. A logical question arises. Why replenish an already compromised wallet? Hacked wallet balance already - 4.726 ETH

Mind to link about this matter? I tried to search up their announcement news but i havent able to read that replenish amounts on the said hacked hot wallet.
It really sounds dumb on funding again a hacked wallet.I would like to clarify about this news. hope you would reply on where you do read up such information.

We dont know if this one is an inside job or a real hack yet any exchange can announce that theyve been recently hacked due to blah blah blah. Another bad news in cryptospace.
It seems that he only has the proof of the suspicion though no official announcement yet considering that such a thing would take a lot of consideration before announced by the exchanges that got hacked, quite depressing to hear such enormous amount of cryptos got stolen so easily. I wonder how all these exchange could get their crypto stolen easily despite having invested into the security. I know that no system is safe but atleast they can make it harder to stole the cryptos maybe by investing more into the security because it wont take that much compared to the aftermath caused by a weak security.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Plans to Sue Crypto Media Website Over Police Raid Report on: November 27, 2019, 07:02:53 AM
They should really start doing this already. They need to show to the FUD news publishers that what they are doing is not tolerable at all. They need to be penalized for spreading fake news that affect not just the business operation and image itself of the particular company but also the entire reputation of the cryptocurrency world, and even the prices of the coins and the whole market value.
It's the usual clickbait articles created for the sole purpose of gaining the attention and get the dam money. So many media are now using this method without seeing the side effect that the articles they provide could misled people into thinking something unreal or in fact wrong. They just really need a big slap to their face so that they don't take advantage every little piece of bullshit information with the stupid clickbait title ever again.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose DEX? How to avoid scam? on: November 27, 2019, 04:26:57 AM
I use forkdelta since this exchange worked very well last year and in general it is 100% decentralized, as I used idex before, but as it turned out, it is controlled by the creators, after I saw that I need to go through KYC on the exchange, I immediately He withdrew all funds from there.
Even though I still use IDEX, I was highly disappointed by the basic KYC requesting email. Nowadays the so-called decentralized exchanges do not really keep up to the name. Forkdelta is not bad but the trading volume is not impressive, and also sometimes when I see an order and want to take it, I will be promoted that the order has been taken even though it's still on the trading table. Another aspect I don't like about forkdelta is unofficial token listing with smart contract which usually lead to price drop for
some ERC20 tokens.
Also DEX could usualy used to trick people into buying useless coin that disguising themselves as a legit coin but actually it has different smart contract to the original. I've seen so many people get lured into such trap and man that's just awful. If the DEX is really requesting KYC that would double the disadvantageous of using decentralized exchange nowadays. The whole interface is also buggy and just don't feel right. Honestly I always avoid to use something the likes of centralized exchange but the hard truth to swallow is, centralized exchange just a damn lot convenient and could not see the reason why I should use DEX over centralized exchange. I hope they could eventually improve though, maybe just recreate the entire DEX system from scratch.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A coin that solves a problem won't die on: November 27, 2019, 02:31:17 AM
The problem, there are actually many of project that proposing the idea to solve some problem (well if there's no problem to begin with I'm pretty sure that there'll be no such project) but after they did their ICO or IEO can't really solve the problem as their idea is failed or they have poor execution. The only problem that I can see being solved is remmitances and to act as an online currency which the solution is Bitcoin and you see most of the project that are appearing all about smart contract platform which actually only provide solution to the nonexistent problem after so many being deployed because we don't actually need that much of smart contract platform. There are project that propose to solve problem in medical field, decentralizing the centralized platform including social media but as far as I can see none of them really working out.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is going to be slower ? on: November 26, 2019, 03:35:02 PM
It can be anything, but it should offer more security and common sense. People gone crazy on IEOs, because it was a guaranteed exchange listing within a short period of time. A new model should offer a guaranteed buyback and profit to become successful.
Buy back honestly never a good idea. Most of the time project that have this option for their investors ended up holding their growth back. Everytime there's a dump people are panicking and thus selling their coin to this buy back method. If you trying to take profit from the buy back as a project developer by setting the price lower than the price in the initial offering you basically just killed your own coin. Buy back is basically a method to destroy your own project and there's no such thing as guaranteed profit in the world of investment unless it's some fishy offer.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do people still create new ERC20 tokens/projects nowadays? on: November 26, 2019, 02:04:01 PM
no, I observed since last month until now, erc20 tokens or new projects have been quiet. and I think people are starting to stop making new tokens or projects, at least until the end of the year. they are also definitely waiting for next year and how the market will run in 2020. if the altcoin market returns and the graphics are always green, I am very sure that many new projects will emerge.
There are many projects migrating to their mainnet aswell. It seems that ERC20 only for temporary and nowadays people prefer to create their own, not that ERC20 is a useless thing but some people did experimental thing with the smart contracts nowadays not for commercial purpose or even fundraising.
To be honest, that's actually good because atleast ETH network will have less chance of being congested or overcrowded because of some measly shitcoin that got hyped just for a moment then gone to oblivion afterwards.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listed exchange matters on: November 26, 2019, 07:29:09 AM
I am absolutely fine with any project plan to list on exchanges like kucoin, okex, huobi, gate or binance because they always have good trading volume, i know its not easy to list on top exchanges but a smart dev should know that its for the good of the project as well
Gets listed in a popular exchange is always for the good of the project. Imagine all the privileges, publicity, the first impression that the project is legit and even enjoys the immense volume but it all comes with a big cost aswell and nowadays project could rarely gather that much amount of money to pay for listing except they  already in agreement with the exchanges beforehand.

I have the same opinion as you. Some of the exchanges you mentioned are exchanges that are often used to list coins that have no value or even junk coins. like the p2pb2b exchange which has been indicated as a scam exchange. I have a few coins that were originally good projects, but after listing on the p2pb2p exchange, the coins became junk and delisted.
If that project turns to shit after getting listed regardless the popularity of respective exchange that means the project is not good. Maybe you think it's good because it may align with your ideal or something else but truth is, the project is not good. Some truly good project could climb their way up to get listed into a popular exchange with their progression but majority of the project that just try that failed.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $35 million worth of ETH for a ridiculous $0.07 transfer fee? on: November 26, 2019, 07:05:10 AM
Well blockchain system determines the fee based on the size of a transaction and if the transaction happen to have minimal output and input it will have really small size and thus low fee, the amount of money doesn't matter that much actually.

That's why I've figured some people who use their address to gather pennies from aidrops always tend to have bigger transaction size and higher required fees and always recommend them to create a new address. I can be wrong but atleast that's what I've experienced and this kind of ridiculously low fee for a big money transactions actually happen frequently you just need to take a look into the blockchain explorer and see the recently created transaction then try to observe their fee one by one.
252  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of banking industry in blockchain on: November 25, 2019, 10:35:00 PM
I really would love to see how our banking system be able to incorporate blockchain in there current system as the platform is sort of decentralized. But anyway, the purpose of this is to make life easier for the user and customer. So cheers on it.
They could modify it to become centralized anyway. It's not like the code of blockchain system can't be changed or modified. it's human creation and open source which mean people can do whatever they can to the code.
Not really, some may think that it is difficult to combine the banking system with the blockchain but in fact it is very easy, what banks are going to do is that they will control every single node in their blockchains, and I really think that this is going to be a huge threat to the privacy of individuals all around the world, the blockchain is a powerful invention and like any powerful invention it can be used for good or for evil and while a decentralized blockchain will help us to achieve more freedom a centralized blockchain will hinder it.

If the nodes are controlled by the bank themselves isn't that basically the same thing as them having the current banking system which is truly centralized? how can that possibly become a huge threat to the privacy if they basically do the same thing to their system?
They use blockchain simply because it's transparent and efficient and there's nothing more. They could modify it into a system that befitting their purpose.
253  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical Analysis Bullshit or Not? on: November 25, 2019, 11:35:53 AM
It must be technical analysis. Does it depend on luck?
Heavily. not that I oppose technical analysis but from my opinion (take this with a grain of salt) luck is the biggest factor in whether you will succeed with your trade or not heck, even luck also the factor of doing every trades and business. Technical analysis is just people trying to make sense of something nonsensical and in this case is the price movement which is quite unpredictable and abstract. I mean, if the market is truly decided by the demand and supply, how a mere line and triangle could tell us the future?
254  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices are dropping too much... on: November 25, 2019, 07:22:42 AM
I'm sure 100% that to answer all these question I need atleast the ability to see into the future or having a time machine. I mean if people know what will happen in the future everyone will be rich. Back to the topic, the possibility of price rising is there but we just don't sure and I'm not going to offer my speculation but usually after a massive dump there'll always some kind of bounce back (but as I say doesn't always happen). Every end of year it's like tradition for bitcoin to be dumped because people need to pay for taxes thus cashing out their BTC and many factors. You just don't expect too much this time around and maybe the situation could get better in the next year.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Mobile Mining exists at all? on: November 25, 2019, 06:37:43 AM
Still can't believe that people even think ETN mobile mining is a real mining. This kind of marketing language is why people are misunderstanding that this mobile mining is actually a faucet with really small rewards in disguise. It's basically the same as those Mobile game that pays in crypto both of them offer no real value and just wasting both your resources and your time.

With logic you can also know that even if mobile mining is a real thing it will just become yet another useless source of income because mobile's chipset is quite weak and not designed to endure the heat of intensive work.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Clipboard hacking restarted again on: November 24, 2019, 10:09:49 PM
This is exactly what I always reminds to people that even though people have their 2fa authentication or even hardware wallet as their security but this thing could just replace the clipboard and the victim will be done for. It's like this malware is penetrating right through the weakness taking advantage of the randomness of the address that people usually  not bother to remember and I always told people to check the address they want to send twice or even more before clicking the send button. I also heard that this clipboard hacking could come from random browser extension aswell since people nowadays uses either online wallet like MEW or metamask.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think crypto world needs... on: November 24, 2019, 02:35:54 PM
Crypto right now need even more recognition, adoption for practical uses to be honest. there's none lately any news regarding the adoption of cryptos but instead just some news about China's government raiding and many negative news. It's always the adoption that I waited the most because using bitcoin to deal with various matters including fulfilling basic needs is a lot of fun than using card or even cash.
Until today I only see the adoption of cryptos are mainly coming from any tech company and not some company from other field. It's somehow feels frustating to be honest. Also the recognition of crypto by the government that always changing time by time always grinds my gear.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good trading volume doesn't mean a token is good on: November 24, 2019, 06:18:17 AM
But if we talk about good trading volume that means traders have a good income about that coin because many are use it to trade. Use your common sense, as a trader you will not choose coin that you will be loss or coin that will not bring you your return of investment. So I think you are wrong.
This statement is so wrong. Good trading volume doesn't mean the volume is not artificial. There are so many cases out there about volume being manipulated just for certain purpose. Also, good trading vokume doesn't mean the trader having a good income aswell. There are some cases of newly generated alts that got listed into an exchange having a really good volume but past 3 months they lost almost all of the volume and literally dying.

OP is not wrong, he's just telling people that there are more factors need to be considered even if certain coin have promising valuation on the paper. It's not all about trading volume.
259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My objective opinion, why cryptocurrency will live and develop on: November 24, 2019, 02:17:34 AM
Personally, I believe that with the advent of the crypto industry, life becomes very interesting and exciting. So any user with an electronic information carrier in front of him will be able to make any payment and send it to anywhere in the world. Since cryptocurrency is a single cryptocurrency where it is practically recognized throughout the world. And it is very convenient and comfortable to pay with cryptocurrency.
isn't that basically paypal? if you think bitcoin exist until now because of that sole reason which is available worldwide for remmitance that's not the case. it live uptill now simply because it is a cryptocurrency which is decentralized and have the community supporting it from behind which differs a lot compared to paypal.
If we are talking about convenience the centralized services like paypal tend to be the most convenient one but what make bitcoin unique is the fact that there's no company backing it up and it's only you that have the right to your money.
Paypal is the most complicated payment method I've ever used. Maybe just me personally but I would definitely prefer to use cryptocurrency over paypal anyday because how simple it is actually just scan a Qr code and you're done. With paypal there's risk of exposing your credit card information if there's a harmful malware in your computer also so many scam and phishing website created solely to trap people. I've seen so many people after they got their information leaked their paypal was also having suspiscious activity maybe because it got breached and people are trying to use their paypal account. Only in this case I would say that the centralized ones is a lot worse than decentralized crypto for the means of remmitances.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China vowed to "slash" crypto exchanges, bitcoin prices plummeted. on: November 23, 2019, 11:37:56 PM
This is FUD news that crashed the market price of Bitcoin, however, according to TA charts, Bitcoin was always going to dip around this time of the year
It is maybe true that bitcoin always be dumped every the end of the year but this news also contribute to further decrease the price of bitcoin as well as making people afraid of holding cryptos specially in China.

And what will happen to price when China will ban it? Going to zero?
Definitely not going to zero. China has announced to ban it twice and the last time they say to ban it the price instead getting pumped. The market will just adapt and get used to it. Majority of crypto trader in China will probably move their money to japanese exchange or some sort just like in the past.
