Re: BCN Either way it seems people are going to be upset at the decision, so I thought it would be best not to risk labeling something incorrectly. I'm working on implementing a tagging system so anyone can filter on whichever tags they want, maybe one of them should be "Deep mined" which applies to BCN? @Hexah, jellyhashman, Agent99
Now that the '**' is gone, the discussion should stop, huh?
You wish.
I'm waiting for feedback from gliss, if he has an opinion on this. It's his thread, his opinion matters. But you'll excuse if I don't take the opinion of BCN shills too seriously.
Well, to be honest, there is no opinion that should be taken too seriously. XMR shills on the one side and BCN's are on the other. I assume that Gliss is already fed up with all this trashtalk. He decided to add ** to the website, then he changed it back. I assume he used some kind of arguments. I also think that if there is anyone who want to continue this discussion it's better to go to this thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=665950.new#new Thanks. I agree, for any further discussion on BCN, please use that thread to discuss.

Ok, removed premine designation from BCN. Thanks Gliss. Did you see this one too? Do you plan on listing the Nxt exchange volume and Nxt Asset Exchange volume separately? Thanks Hi Gliss, How hard would it be to add the daily trade volume of the Nxt asset Exchange to the Nxt 24hr volume? Nxt is being used to buy assests and not just other coins and so the coinmarketcap picture is incomplete at the moment. In the last 24hrs, there has been 1.4Million Nxt traded on the Asset Exchange that isn't captured in the current 24hr volume. It would add an extra $88,000 dollars to the $97,000 that you are showing and give a complete picture of the amount of NXT changing hands. Source: http://nxtreporting.com/assetcap.phpI can put you in touch with the webmaster of nxtreporting.com if you need to ask any questions about implementing this. Yes I think it should be separate. Otherwise, that would be like adding all volume from the LTC markets at Mintpal and Cryptsy to the LTC volume.

Regarding BCN and the premine, I think we should stick with the definition of "mining before publicly launched". And BCN was not heard of publicly until earlier this year. If there is something to debate here, it would be weather or not launches on the deep web should be considered public. I'm leaning towards no at this point, but feel free to debate it. It's good to hash out definitions now. NTX/CNY is already in, but they don't expose an endpoint in their API for NXT/BTC (that I know of) Hi Gliss, NEMStake has been added, which is great, but it isn't presentable in the format that everyone knows the pricing in. A NEMstake is worth about 30,000 NXT at the moment as that is what it is traded in. Could you add Nxt as an option in the display currencies to help with this please? So you have USD, BTC, EUR ... NXT on the drop down list. This will become more and more useful as you add assets from the Nxt Asset Exchange. Thanks Hang tight for the new assets section which will show the asset prices in the native currency.

NEM has been consistantly traded for over a month.
If CMC is going to be all inclusive, it is not complete without NEM there.
The argument about it being traded on the asset exchange I can see, but not to the point as to refrain from reporting on it. NEM has started many trends, and this is another one.
All the coins that follow in NEMs footsteps will end up in the same situation, so it's not just NEM to think about. Some kind of plan should be made to reflect coins that have value prior to launch. It should be tracked as to the amount, % of change, and volume of activity associated with the trading.
I would think that CMC would want to be a part of that considering they are one of premier websites that report on the value and trading of cryptocurrencies.
Ok, I've added NEMstake to the main listings for now. It'll be transferred over to the assets section when completed. NXT should be recalculated.
LaudM is right. The total amount of coins is lower now so the market cap should be higher than shown. On coinmarket cap: 999'997'096Actual: 999'996'993Source: Genesis Block > http://nxtreporting.com/?a=1739068987193023818&c=USD A difference of 103 Nxt. Thanks for your help LaudaM Gliss, current coins are around 460k, total coins over the next 10 years are so will amount to 18.4M.
Thanks, all updated!

When will NEM be added?
Soon! I'm in the process of creating a separate section for the Nxt Asset Exchange. Any chance on boolberry (BBR) getting added?
The announcement thread says ~18.4 million coins, but http://bbr.cryptostats.org/stats shows much less. Which one is accurate? Why two stars were added to Bytecoin (BCN)? This coin is 2 years old. It was launched in 2012 - https://bytecoin.org/old/index.htmlIf there wasn't announcement at Bitcointalk it doesn't mean it was premined. this misunderstanding is because it was in a deep web before this year. I don't think it's fare to add stars to the coin that has an official launch but in a deep web. It's well known fact that when it was launched there were teams who began to mine and they still mine coins as everyone in our community which has grown https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=512747.msg7126913#msg7126913So I insist on removing these stars Good points. I'll remove the premine designation unless there are any other arguments opposed to it.

Ok, I marked as significantly premined, but not sure how to even calculate what the available supply should be. Gliss,
The SaveCoin coin supply is not being correctly represented on coinmarketcap.com.
The coin supply listed presently, only shows the mined coins. The double asterisk indicates that the coin has been Significantly Premined, however those premined coins are not included like they are for other coins.
SaveCoin did have a premine of 20 Million coins. Of those 20 Million, 19 million are held in reserve to make daily interest payments in what is called Proof of Funds (POF). The coin pays out a .137% daily interest on every coin in circulation (except the premine). The wallet does not need to be open like POS. These coins are not technically available coin supply until paid out as interest.
The remaining 1 million premine are held by the Dev for bounties, promotions, giveaways and are fully available.
1) To accurately represent the coin's supply for the short term at least the 1 million Dev premine should be included.
2) To be even more accurate, the paid interest to date should also be included. We would be satisfied with #1 to get started until a process for #2 can be created.
3) Eliminating the 19M held in reserve for POF, makes the effective premine 5%. In light of this, does a 5% premine still qualify as significantly premined or can this designation be removed?
Given that SaveCoin is the only POF coin, we understand the confusion. Let me know if you have any questions or if any other information is required to make this change.
Thanks.
That makes sense, I'll take a look tonight. Any progress? Updated. how does it look?

Hi,
Gridcoin here,
Sorry to bother you, but our block explorer provider had an outage earlier and is back up now.
We are at the bottom of the list in "all" (value : $1). When I click into the outstanding coins count I do see the correct value on the BX now; but we have not moved. Maybe something needs reset?
Thank you in advance and sorry for the hassle.
Rob
All fixed HI
Please remove BTC100 from your website. They are cheater from china, look at their doge and LTC market volume. Please remove it.
It looks ok to me. Why do you say that?

The first one is accurate, the second one is broken. The second one didn't adjust block reward (notice how it is still 120 coins per block) thus the higher amount outstanding. It's a display bug and no big deal. Thanks!

155 Billion coins? is any of that premine? No. Coin was launched July 4, 2012. So just deep mined. Ok, added. Gliss,

Please update the website link for Pinkcoin. The new website is pinkcoin.info. The website currently linked no longer exists. Thanks!!!
All Updated You should implement some requirements for adding coins or the list will be very long. More and more coins are coming out.
I think it's really a UI problem so I'm building simple and advanced search tools to help out. The site should be able to support thousands of coins if necessary. I filled out the form for BCN few days ago. Have you guys looked it over?
I still can't find a link that shows the total supply mined so far. If you can provide, I'll be happy to add.

Karmacoin volume is now fixed. There was a mixup with Mintpal's LTC market API. NEM added to CoinMarketCap.com? Yes or No?
Yes, soon. Please update the official website for casinocoin. It has changed form casinoco.in to casinocoin.org. Thank you!
All updated.

Why is Yacoin now on the first place with 130 Billion? Looks like an error.
Yeah, their block explorer suddenly converted their supply units to satoshis. Disabled for now, and I'm working on an automatic kill switch for glitches like these.

@Gliss: EDU has been added to Europex Exchange https://www.europex.eu/#!coin/btc/edu Please add this to the EDU price index. Thanks! Does Europex have an API? PHCon launches its Payment + X11 Mining network soon..
What other info does CoinMarketCap need?
Need a list of exchanges that it's trading on. I see in the tweet that GlobalBoost was added, but we do not see our coin on your site. Thank You.
Do you think you could go one or two digits more on BlackCoin? Right now the price can fluctuate almost 10% without registering a change on the site.
BTW made another donation yesterday after your quick response to being down, keep up the good work.
All updated, thanks! I have a question about how the price is calculated on this page.
Is it simply a cross between all available exchange prices for the particular currency pair, or is it also based on how much VOLUME an exchange contributes?
Thanks for enlightening me.
Average weighted by volume each exchange contributes.

Looks like you guys are down. Prices have stayed the same all morning. BTW just donated, thanks for creating an easy to use site.
Thank you for the support. Had a few database issues this morning, but prices are updating now.

ripplelabs updated their page concerning the xrp-distribution (https://www.ripplelabs.com/xrp-distribution/) the available supply as of April, 30th 2014 is 7,817,888,647not a huge change, but anyway you might consider to adjust the value accordingly. Updated, thanks! What happened to GME? It is on coinedup and cryptsy now For both of these, need a block explorer with total supply count. What about a mini-graph of exchange rate along with the market cap graph? The two don't always go hand-in-hand. Be nice if it could click in a historical exchange rate graph for the coin from launch to present day if possible. That would be info I'd pay a monthly subscription for.
Working on graphs where you can toggle between BTC and USD prices.

As the number of shitcoins increases are you guys perhaps considering an option where people can select which coins they want to see and which not? It's getting more and more difficult to keep track of the coins which I am following.
Definitely. when are you going to start a 3rd page?
Maybe the low volume section should be it's own page? The list is getting pretty long. All updated, thanks.

Added CofeeCoin (CFC), Dreamcoin (DRM), Libertycoin (XLB), and OrangeCoin (OC). please change NXT official website to nxt.orgnxt.org and nxtcrypto.org are not the same Please do this immediately. The nxt decentralized asset exchange launches in ~50 mins at block 135,000...also look out for the nxt decentralized goods store and torrent bazaar "freemarket". Other notable mentions: automatic transactions: turing complete-like funtionality and multigateway: frictionless trading of other crypto currency(bitcoin and its clones) and of other asset types. Please update USDe stats! Its trading on cryptsy now data is not accurate!!
All updated. Hi, I have a short question. I didn't find it nowhere. How to calculate the Volume (24h)? Only public market data, example bitstamp.com?
Thank you very much.
