81  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽️ SportBet.one - decentralized sports-betting platform ⭐️ Honest reviews ⭐️ on: May 01, 2024, 10:57:27 AM
Truly this sounds alarming. Sites should 100% pay attention to these issues and act fast on any self exclusion issue. It is against their license agreements to not do that actually.
But also players that are aware of their problem shouldn't just rely on the site taking actions but also seek help themselves. Sure it's easier and convenient to just say I self exclude myself and that's it, but that's not how it works.

Gambling addiction is a serious issue and in my opinion without proper professional help this is nothing you can easily fight by yourself. I understand it's hard to share this problem with others but that's just necessary to beat this devil inside.

We cannot make a quick judgement here just because someone has posted like that. We know how SportBet.one build their reputation here and one user posted an accusation against them, though it doesn't look good but we have to be fair. @holydarkness is right, this is a service discussion thread, if he really is serious with his accusation, he needs to bring this to a proper channel of the forum which is the scam accusation board, but as @holydarkness said, there should be a valid evidence.
82  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will the real bull run begin? on: April 30, 2024, 11:44:35 PM

I will continue to hold as I feel we are only months away from the real bull run but it is testing my patience lately waiting month after month for some real price action.

How is everyone else feeling?
Please do it just like other investors do because this is the only thing we can do knowing that we never know when exactly the ATH come.
You mentioned last 2020, we can't say to have the same market experience this time but can't set aside to be possible. As long as we are holding, we have nothing to worry about missing the chance. What I feel is that the bull season extends until next year and just like the previous halvings, ATH comes months after halving which means that we also need to extend our patience in holding. We just think that holding is no regret but instead, getting more rewards.
You know it’s normal to feel that way since we are in all waiting to reap massive profits. But since we don’t hold when will be the final bull run, then hodling to its maximum level should be practiced, and should never worry if price correction is delaying our profits. Bitcoin price will eventually recover and move upward soon, we only need  to be more patient as much as we can.

For the meantime, it’s best to just focus on accumulating more bitcoin on our spare money. Bitcoin bull run will eventually come, even if it means taking a year before it finally hits the market.
83  Economy / Economics / Re: Starting a business without capital. on: April 30, 2024, 10:56:15 PM
Well, if we talk about building a business without capital, then there are many ways. However, it is not easy, even for affiliate marketing. However, building connections and markets is also very necessary. There are many people who try to do affiliate marketing and become successful, but the journey they go through is not easy. Actually, there are many things we can do to start a business without capital, but the level of difficulty sometimes makes people lazy. However, nowadays almost all businesses have their own path, with capital or without capital, but it all depends on the individual person who wants to start it.
As much as a lot of people have been successful in affiliate marketing, but I also believe that there are also tons of people who had never made it to succeed. Simply because their time and efforts are not enough to make it work. Even if we say it’s a free capital investment or I’d rather call it a side job, still it should be given high  focus and determination in order to build connections and do marketing to the people. It’s really not easy as it is, that’s why the profits are big and exceptional.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No risk no gain on: April 29, 2024, 11:33:04 PM
I said to a brother, brother, let's invest. Buy a bitcoin and keep it.Fifty percent and I invested fifty percent but that brother did not agree then. Day by day the price of Bitcoin was increasing and the price was going up and down around 25, 30, 31 thousand dollars. Still I told my brother to invest but he did not agree. That price eventually reached 74 thousand dollars. I regretted very much why I didn't take a risk. If you want to do something, you have to take a risk, nothing happens without a risk.

You have been trying to avoid taking a risk on your own in which assuming any one of them agree to share the investment fund with you by 50% i don't know how you will both share the profits of its return, another thing will be if the market drops and falls, then the other investor decided to withdrawn his investment, what would have happened, all these are what we should know before starting an investment, if you had earlier been well informed about bitcoin, you would have understand why you only have to be the one to invest on your own without the influence of any third party.
Clearly it will create more stress and pressures if bitcoin price does not work according to plan while your investment partner is eager to make instant profits. So if you want to take the risk, do it alone when you have already understood bitcoin and the risk of having of high volatility. Just don’t expect that bitcoin will work as a short term investment, it isn’t altcoins that are just a pump and dump scheme. Invest at an amount you can afford to lose, so you won’t end up panic selling when you are seeing your investment consistently dropping its price.
85  Economy / Gambling / Re: How Crypto casino market themselves? on: April 28, 2024, 09:42:35 PM
gambling is one of the most expensive business because of the opportunity of players to win jackpot and
that will bring down the business if not taking into consideration , and yeah best developer  must be there because of being prone to hacking and security must be in put.

I think it's not necessary that you'll have to set up a huge capital on your gambling platform to pay the jackpot when someone wins. There are plenty of casinos nowadays that only uses their site to be a facilitator and when you gamble, you'll be redirected to their providers and it will be their providers that will pay the winning amount through their site, it's just similar to them making a commission of the bets. Also, if a casino offers a sports betting, oddsmakers have this algorithm that would balance the bets, so it's not really a problem if some bettors won big money because it's ensure that everything is balance and the casino will not run dry. IMO, a big portion of expenses only comes from the marketing side, because once a casino already have its gamblers, the operation will continue to be profitable.
86  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: April 28, 2024, 09:06:29 PM
I personally like to implement betting on few games only so I would not put too much pressure on myself. When I'm betting on sport, I made sure that before placing my bet, I have already carefully analyze it well, and I'm not even like consistently passing the minimum profitable rate, so how much more if I'll just choose it randomly and forget about studying the game.

We have different strategy with betting, and even on games we are playing, so we just have to stick on where we are comfortable at, since after all, it's our money, it's our rules that will be followed.

You’re right with your approach here to bet only to the matches that you like or simply a comfortable bets since there’s no one forcing you to place tons of bets at once. This is the common mistakes of sports bettor because they want to earn more quickly by placing multiple bets even though they don’t have idea on the match that they are betting.

They are using sport betting as fast phase game as slots that’s why they place tons of bet to compensate on the waiting time of each result. I do the same betting as yours, I only place bet when a team that I’m following is playing. I just increase my bets since I’m confident on my bets even though I’m rarely to place bet.

That's why some would always argue that sports betting is not a skilled based game because they don't put an effort in analyzing the game, or maybe have put an effort but didn't get the expectation they want to see. We have different experience but I really believe that on all the games in a casino, sports betting is the best type of gambling that I am confident with in winning.

Quote
Quality over quantity.
This should be emphasize all the time, your goal here is to win and your chances of winning is higher when you study a game.

Using a number will help us understand the clear picture, and if we are giving juice to the bookies, the number of bets increase the higher commission you'll pay every time you win.

say you have this win - loss record 10-10, that's 50% right? and on the other hand you also have 100-100, still 50% but you've already paid 10% commissions on the 100 bets you've won. compared to 10 only in the first example.
87  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: April 28, 2024, 03:25:28 PM
Yes. It just becomes a habit when playing certain types of gambling. There is convenience when playing slots and placing football bets using a cellphone, one of which is being able to play while sleeping on the bed.
Then playing using a cellphone doesn't require a special place. We just need a comfortable place, even in a cafe, we can do it ourselves without anyone knowing what we are doing because each of us is busy with our own activities
Never tried gambling while lying in my bet, LOL.. I feel doing that means I'm just purely having fun, and it's okay to win/loss. Not me, I'm kinda serious with gambling although I know how to accept losses. Personally, I have tried a lot of games in this platform but since majority of my bets goes to sports, that doesn't made me spend a lot of time in front of my PC or my cellphone.
Same. Just betting more often on sports betting means we don't need as much time to spend in front of a PC or cell phone.
If most of the bets are on sports betting, I'm also serious. My seriousness in analyzing is most comfortable when I am in my room lying on the bed using my cell phone. Like yesterday when analyzing several Premier League matches yesterday.

Spending a lot of time in front of the PC gambling is not good for eye health. LOL
In gambling, playing is just for fun, let alone receiving winnings. The result is losing which results in serious loss of money. Haha
I like losing and winning should be accepted like the goal of gambling is to have fun.

Welcome to the forum, other casinos starts an announcement thread before running a campaign but you did the opposite. Well, it's better late than never, we are glad you finally have a place for us to discuss about  the casino. Like what some of us here commented, I also have the same experience, I loved the UI and it does load fast in my end but I'm a bit sad as there are plenty of games that are not available in my region. So does using VPN solve my problem? or will just my account at risk of getting compromised?
89  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: April 28, 2024, 01:25:28 PM
Nowadays, it's more common that casinos exist a while before their team figure out that they can get some good exposure at Bitcointalk. It can be from one of their team members or introduction from third party marketing people.
I know that nowadays it's more common for casinos to start a business outside of this forum but all I want to say is that I have never seen such a successful one as Metawin is. Primedice (maybe Stake too), Sportsbet, Livecasino, Bitsler, Crypto-games, FortuneJack, Rollbit, Duelbits, etc... they are the most popular crypto casinos, they all started from this forum, they have a huge bankroll, huge popularity, huge number of active players and good promotions. Then there is a Metawin that is almost on their level. I don't know any casino outside of this forum that is as popular as Metawin, that's why I feel curious.

The pattern is already there, it's like a proven experiment, so it's not hard to gamble promoting a casino in the forum. All these casinos listed have active advertising in the forum, that's how confident they are and I think they are getting what they are expecting, otherwise, they had already stopped it a long time ago. Bitsler was one of the most popular before but I don't know if they still claim the same status now because I believe they have stopped advertising here and their thread isn't that active anymore.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you increasing your bitcoin investments because of today halving ? on: April 27, 2024, 11:34:04 PM
Are you increasing your bitcoin investments because of today halving ? For how long do you plan to hold this new investment from here on.
I don’t think halving creates a bigger impact for those people who have high interest to invest in bitcoin. Because for me, most especially with the current halving, it never made an essence to my investment but I believe the best thing will happen when the  bull run has finally come. This is the reason why as much as possible, I don’t want to miss any chances if there are opportunities to invest. And as long as I have spare money to DCA, I never fail to add more bitcoin in my portfolio because that’s the only way I will come to grow my bitcoin asset in my portfolio.
91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making the Most of $100 bankroll on: April 27, 2024, 08:47:07 PM
I use the strategy of a separate bankroll for each championship I participate in, but I don't define exactly how much I'm going to bet on each bet
There are bets that I'm more confident about and I put more money on, and others that are riskier I put a smaller amount on

But the idea is very good, to separate this bankroll into 20 bets so that it has a good continuity, even more so if your friend is new to betting
It would be quite frustrating for him to split it into a few bets and lose everything quickly, so with 20 bets he can learn and feel what it's like to bet, identify how he'll react to losing bets, and where he can hit more often

You can't tell that this bankroll is only for 20 bets, unless you want it all risk in just a single day. The bankroll is usually for long term, so most likely that will last especially if you are profitable. Wagering 5% from your bankroll bankroll may seemed agressive, but since the amount is only $100, that's fine. Professional sports bettors do have a good bankroll, and they don't just divide it to the number of bets because they choose quality over quantity, and a realistic bankroll gives us a better feel not to be greedy since seeing it grow is already a fulfillment.
92  Economy / Gambling / Re: No KYC Crypto Casinos & Sites | NoToKYC.com | Exclusive Bonuses on: April 27, 2024, 08:00:43 PM
We are working on a new big update soon.

Looking forward to it.

Anyway, I don't know if it has been asked already or I didn't read this in the OP before.. this one.

What do you mean but low KYC? Because if you promote no KYC, it should be completely no KYC at all.

Also you posted about your license.

- License: Credible licenses, such as Curacao, add trustworthiness.
Does this license providers allow you to operate with requiring KYC to gamblers?

This may be the first occasion I have read or even listened about such a thing like "low KYC"... But if I had to guess on what it means, then I would say it is about providing some personal information to the casino or service provider which is not as extensive as the "full KYC" which I typically asked when we wish to withdraw money from a casino.
Perhaps, instead asking for pictures of ourselves and our passports, they would ask for an email and Identity card (which is not as valuable as a passport in terms in identity verification).

Also, as far as I recall the casino licensed issued by the authorities in Curaçao are not suitable for casinos which do not want to impose their KYC practices on their gamblers. So my guess is OP meant simply to keep a separate section in his webpage to be dedicated for the ratings of casino licenses themselves, not casinos which operate under them.

It is all kind of a speculation from my part, though.  Tongue

That's why I got confused because usually when there's a KYC policy, the rules should be specific. When requiring more KYC during investigation, I think that's a different thing as it could be categorized to a special cases. You know, investigation like that does not happen most of the time, so we should only stick with the standard procedure when marketing the casino and talking about KYC process.

They should be more specific since if they say that they are non KYC compliant casino but later on they ask this because they say that their is an investigation going on their account then this leave some thoughts that they are just fooling the people who trust that they would never ask this. And for stating this they should never ask this requirement so that no people will start to doubt at them since for sure that there's a lot of people will just think about that maybe in future they would use that KYC for them to delay the withdrawals of some users or totally block it since they can't provide what they asked.

That's how it should work, no KYC, it's from the start until the end. If a gambler cheat the casino, do you think a gambler will comply with them in submitting a KYC documents? Of course no because that will only put him in danger and will get arrested since the casino itself they claimed to be regulated.  The thing is, when a casino market to people that they are "NO KYC" and people signed up because they think they'll gain privacy when gambling but later they are required a KYC, they might not like it and as a result, casinos reputation will be at risk.

Quote
They should really stick on what they are promoting since its really shady if there's sudden changes that might happen to them.
THIS IS TRUE.

No. Sportbook is in the plan but it's not coming soon as I was informed.

Thanks LM!... I like that, we have a lot of sports bettors here so it would be great if they'll add it on the platform too. Personally, I'm more focus on sports betting so i'm one of the many that will be benefited when the plan will be realized, hopefully soon.
96  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How possible can a forum memeber visiting foreign local board here? on: April 26, 2024, 11:57:56 PM
We can visit other local boards and can join their discussions if we fully understand their language but if we just use a translation tool, we better not do it. Not because it was not allowed or if there is a penalty but it is just like showing respect to them. Honestly, it was hard to keep using a translator board for the sake of communicating with other people.

I ask you a question, what is the main reason for doing this? Because I don't believe it is just to discuss with them about Bitcoin investment as it was already discussed in your local board as well.

Anyway, I hope that OP got the answer already.
There is no rule that says we can’t post in other foreign local boards, most especially if we are highly skilled using other languages and we get to understand every detail on it using that certain language. But, if you end up using an effective translator, that alone will put your account into possible warning that may get into being banned if you do it more consistently. Know the rules first before you create such actions, in order to keep your existence in the forum quite longer and productive.
97  Economy / Speculation / Re: If China Supports Crypto, Where Can Bitcoin's Price Go? on: April 26, 2024, 11:30:40 PM
Op, China did not completely ban bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Rather what they did was to ban Bitcoin mining and not bitcoin transaction. That is to say that bitcoin transaction is not illegal in China. I have also noticed something in this cryptocurrency industry, and I noticed that with Elon Musk. When Elon smartly took advantage of the cryptocurrency industry to make himself much more money, the crypto enthusiasts thought that he was doing good thing for us but in the end he betrayed. If Elon Musk returns again in the cryptocurrency industry and announce that his Tesla and himself has adopted bitcoin for the second time I am not sure it's going to make wave because people are used to his tactics.
Same thing applies to China, if they announce that the country can now accept Bitcoin mining, surely some miners will relocate to China but the effect will not be massive in the industry.
We won’t expect massive effect at first but eventually, if China will accept bitcoin mining for good, then I really believe that could leave a huge impact to bitcoin price. Same like Elon, knowing how rich and influential his name is, still it will create a positive effect on the crypto market.

Now, going back to China, if they will support bitcoin and all its transactions, not only it will lead to a huge price increase but it will also pave way for a future adoption with bitcoin and its crypto space.
98  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto remaining anonymous is good for Bitcoin! on: April 26, 2024, 10:52:21 PM
Satoshi is the only anonymous left in crypto, so yeah staying anonymous can be a big factor to Bitcoin.
There’s a lot of rumors about who is Satoshi but I think we will never know this as Satoshi wants to remain unknown and prove that you can still be anonymous especially in crypto. This is the purpose of crypto in the first place, it’s just that we are being force to do the kyc.
Satoshi builds crypto in order to gain anonymity from banks and other group entities, so his own anonymity serves as the model itself. If he can’t be anonymous, he will beat his own purpose why he designed bitcoin in the first place. Good thing Satoshi remains anonymous up to the present, and I think he’ll stay that way forever, as he has no personal intentions to own the spotlight, but to bring people closer to bitcoin and benefit from its highest advantage.

If the previous contest has does kind of compensation, I think upcoming contests will surely have a very lucrative rewards. I’m expecting a more diverse competition to cover different types of games such live games, slots and sportsbook since most of the competition nowadays in the forum is only dominated by sports prediction.

Looking forward for this exciting news!

Wait, do they have a sportsbook already? I do play on some of the games here like the live games but not on sportsbook, because if they have, I wouldn't have to play with other casino/sportsbook. Most of the casinos now actually have sportsbook already,  or they integrated it overtime, so I'm hoping to see this on MetaWin to make this as a one stop shop ( if they don't have a sportsbook yet).
