82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decent signature campaigns? on: February 21, 2020, 11:51:34 AM
There are a few altcoin bounty that is popular and they are saying worth joining. Gold bounty is paying but they pay in a monthly basis. However it seems they are currently full. Most high ranked members are joining BTC campaign since there are only few altcoin bounties that pays on a weekly basis which you can trade right away. Finding a decent canpaign nowadays is difficult. You need to be patient and be updated so you can join right away.
83  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you share at least one gambler who have become rich in gambling? on: February 21, 2020, 07:49:37 AM
Most of the people I know who are addicted to gambling or not really rich, most are just average people. None of them got rich because of gambling. I know some rich people who got addicted to casino games who became poor because of gambling. Gambling should not be viewed as a way to get instantly rich. People who got instantly rich without hard work end up mismanaging their finance and goes back to being poor again.

My aunt won a raffle jackpot in a casino worth $20,000 and had spent it in just 1 week. Most of the money was spent on gambling too. So if you are a problem gambler, winning a jackpot won't benefit you, it will make you even more addicted to it.
84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: February 21, 2020, 07:12:20 AM
It can only be a threat if you let it. If you don't know how to limit your self, gambling can lead to serious problems. Addiction starts slowly if you are just starting to gamble and know for your self that by the end of the day gambling is not healthy for your health and financially, you should do something about it.
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Assess your gambling addiction level. on: February 20, 2020, 10:44:24 AM
I would say I am on level 0. I don't think about gambling every day and might think of it only to mingle with my friends during a trip, weekend parties or whenever I am spending my free time with my friends.  Gambling is a fun activity to spend your free time to relieve stress and yo have fun, especially with your friends. I am not near to the point that I look for it every day and expecting for a big win or jackpot.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: By now, is it worth to invest in major altcoins for the long term? on: February 19, 2020, 11:50:18 AM
You mean altcoins who have been surviving the market for so long and has secured a spot on the top of the market cap? Just think about this, those altcoins have started to be a small project in the beginning and have survived the bloodbath, which is normal in crypto market cycle. If you compare which is sustainable or best investment either if it is new or old altcoin, I would still pick established altcoins. But you must not forget to do your research too, your money, your investment you must not depend on other people's opinion.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some ridiculous suspicious projects with zero value! on: February 19, 2020, 10:23:35 AM
For some developers, ICO is a great means of earning money. That is why ICOs are left dead because of this bad impression. A lot of scam ICO or dead ICOs have caused a bad image for new altcoins. I know anlot of project who were able to gather millions of dollars in their crowdfunding stage and still has no working product or development until now.
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Illegal gambling in Asian football increased partly because of crypto? on: February 19, 2020, 06:52:03 AM
Cryptocurrency had become a safe haven for illegal activities. It is not actually shocking that illegal gambling will use crypto in their activities since it offers anonymity. It is just sad that Satoshi dis not intend for crypto to be used to that extent.
89  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do some gamblers actually win? on: February 18, 2020, 04:12:58 AM
There are gamblers who win. Maybe those who know when to quit and are aware that gambling for long hours will result in losses. I sometimes gamble for long hours and most of the time this happens when I double my money or even sometimes triple my money, I lose all the time when I become greedy and try to extend playing hoping for more win. That is why it is important to know when to quit, even if you're lucky in your bets, your luck won't last for a whole day, at some point the house will get all your money before you know it.
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't be a hypocrite and admit that you are a gambler on: February 17, 2020, 02:03:14 PM
Life is a gamble, every choice we make has a consequence. I my self sometimes gamble with my coworkers who be the employee of the month. Even when choosing what field you will choose during college day is a gamble whether if you will excel and succeed in your chosen field. Each has a consequence and reward. It all falls on how will we make something out of the outcome of our choice, it is whether we sulk about it or to do something about it.

Even when choosing which bounty you will choose even when you are not risking a penny is a gamble. Not all bounty pays, not all bounty is legitimate, not all bounty is rewarding, but still we take the risk.

92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PEOPLE WILL NEVER STOP FALLING FOR SCAM on: February 16, 2020, 12:13:24 AM
The reason why there are a lot of people who find bitcoin an easy way to scam other people is that there are a lot of people who are not fully aware of how bitcoin works and how to securely buy and store bitcoin. Not to mention the misconception of bitcoin is an easy way to earn money and it can make you rich overnight.

Sufficient knowledge about bitcoin investment will keep you away from being scammed. Sad to say, people are naturally greedy, that is why even how many years had passed still a lot of people are still falling as a victim from different kind of scams.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Hardware wallet really secure enough? on: February 15, 2020, 02:32:11 PM
The only way a hardware wallet can be hacked is if someone has your seed phrase or your private key. Among all wallets, it is considered the most secure since you are the only one who has access to your private key. Keeping your seed phrase offline is the safest way, never put it online.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facts about bounties on: February 15, 2020, 01:29:22 PM
I wonder how many bounties have you joined so far with your rank and your activity. You made your point, however, the ICO hype is gone and the success rate of ICO nowadays are too low since only a few investors trust ICO. There are still good projects out there, but as a bounty hunter we must also do our art to do research before joining.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep your assets safe as the Bull run draws nearer on: February 15, 2020, 12:14:14 PM
Even without the bull-run incoming, you must never store your assets in an exchange since you have no custody of your private key. There had been a lot of attacks in exchange and some even lost millions of dollars worth of crypto in an exchange. It is best to secure your assets, than be sorry in case your token gets lost.
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your recommended ways of gambling. on: February 15, 2020, 10:45:13 AM
Best gambling strategy(My favorite):

1. Gamble with money that you are willing to lose. Play primarily for the fun aspect and enjoy.
2. Go all in and leave. Don't focus on playing the long term since the HE will ensure that the casino ALWAYS wins in the long term.
3. Trying various progression strategies could help in the short term, but yolo gambling(All in at once) is the most effective option in the short term in my opinion.
4. Use the same strategy in sports betting too.

I suggest not playing for a long time, it is true that by the end of the day the house always wins. It is either you earn some or lose your money in the long-term, take note that in every bet you need to pay a certain fee every time you win. Never too much thought on gambling, just play for fun and don't make it as a way to earn money.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Bitcoin Valentine's Day! on: February 14, 2020, 11:04:58 AM
This is a great way to celebrate valentine's day and spreading bitcoin awareness at the same time and not to mention sharing your blessings with random people. I hope you'll have a great day today. A simple act can make people happy. Spread the love and spread bitcoin. Happy Valentine's day everyone.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose the right bounty for Newbie? Get rid of fake/scam project on: February 14, 2020, 10:17:59 AM
No one can tell you which is which. The only thing you can do is to do in-depth research about the project and see for your self if they are legitimate or not. If you ask for other's opinions, they will either shill a project or tell you to do your own research. Most projects make their white paper really enticing for investors, just look for the project who doesn't hive out to many promises for income and shows an achievable road map.
99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After losing did you feel you must return the soonest to win back your losses? on: February 14, 2020, 09:50:55 AM
Nobody wants to lose. If I still have some spare money allocated for gambling I still play. However, when I reach my limit, I stop. Chasing for your losses might lead you to further loss. This might trigger you being greedy and being addicted to gambling. It is, either way, win or lose gamblers tend to either chase for their loss or to test their chance of winning further. That is why most gamblers end up losing even if they have won a lot of money on the early part of their game.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uber or Airbnb running on bitcoin on: February 13, 2020, 09:07:58 AM
Quote
Like one day in the same way we say "remember when you had to pay for long distance".... instead people will be saying "remember when you had to pay for a Cab, wasn't that crazy?" I want this to happen somehow soon.  Shocked

I remember when I had to even pay when sending text messages, and now you can do it for free using diffent messaging platform. However, in terms of rising a cab, I doubt if it will ever be free. Uber became a good solution since you can share a ride with other people instead of shouldering the fare solely. It would be great of fares such as taxi fare can be paid through crypto, but there are taxi services that accepts online payment using different online payment platform which I think is a good step.
