So... a goalless half time but many attempts, some too close to suggest it will be nil nil after the second 45 mins.

Both jayce and I have BTTS so I do feel at an advantage here. 4 goals is not out of the question though so jayce will be hoping for that.
82  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆Rollbit.com | Champions League Pool | $11,000+ in Prizes ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: May 07, 2024, 06:54:15 PM
AFAIK, there is no active self-moderated topic for Champions league and don't really want to post in spam megathread.
Struggling to find bets for this game. Went with BTTS but odds is a bit too low. Don't really want to see PSG reaching final. But that 1 goal advantage from 1st leg isn't something significant.

There was one, but I've also allowed it to "rest" mainly because of this more active thread. The non-moderated spam threads are horrendous, but there's really not much you can do about it. At least it attracts the spam... and keeps the others clean?

I'd wait for live betting on this one. Odds were very even for both legs anyway -- and the big value BVB outright has already shortened thanks to their first leg win.

This is my only bet (using an old Freebet return from the promo):

I actually almost forgot to submit -- weird that there was no reason to wait and yet I did! No research at all done for ice hockey. I just imagined which country are "better" in my mind at hitting a puck on ice. Or was I trying to be Slissy and give my opponent false hope? Wink

Spreading legs with small titts like the old Columbian club girls in the early 90s.

The last time I heard a quote like this was almost 20 years ago, about how bad a situation is, like a fresh-faced kid in a Bogotan prison. I'm actually not quoting the exact line of course. Poor Colombia.

I have Been away for some weeks due to some health restrictions

Yeah, I was hoping to be able to bet on you at some stage in the cup, but looks like I'm going to have to back myself all the way. Hope you're doing better?

Nobody is going to spend that much, if you are last every round, no point in re buying, you will not get to first place Smiley Rough estimate, I don't think anyone will buy in more than 3 times and that is pushing it.

Now that I read responses above, I understand better! Definitely won't make sense to rebuy if you're too far away from a realistic first place. But as cryptofrka explained further, there are many more points to fight for in the latter rounds, so yeah. I guess a buy-in or two makes sense if you're in with a shout!

We aim for 50+, which means that with re-buys the top reward might increase quite a bit. I will surely re-buy to eternity if needed but as Trofo said, 2 or 3 might be the soft spot.

If left to my devices, I buy in against all odds. Good thing I'm not these days thinking like an old man.

Can this season end, please? I was 2nd 5 rounds ago, now I'm 5th and can't get a single thing right.
Next round is crucial with extra games added, I cannot be any worse than I've recently been I guess.

Would kill to be you. Well, maybe not kill but might maim a fly. Been hovering around 20th for a long while. And it looks so close to a prize spot, but simply can't find the right time to bag a Chelsea/United draw or Brighton win, etc.

This time, I did go for Palace to try and catch the loss. Seeing ETH field a whole bunch of youngins does make me wonder if I underestimated his willingness to lose his stars though.

Nice job on the EURO 2024 comp, Cro2! Haven't seen the format yet, obviously, but I can't see how it can be anything other than fun. Forum for sure needs much more than passive pool predictions and BSFL reminds that there are plenty of people hungry to do more and interact more.

It was a pleasure playing with you my friend Wink
I said you have advantage in last question with Liverpool and I was right, but Man City decided the winner, so it was a very close match between us.
My road to top position continues.

A pity I could not take you all the way, enjoy the 3 points, if you win the league, I will make sure to take some credit Wink

What a win for me against the mafia, winning over mafia guy in the court (Sainz penalty) is awesome feels like a double win. Yesterday i was very pissed because Perez do a shit race and was costing me the round.

That is the one thing I can't get used to in F1. It's bad enough you've got VAR in football to delay celebrations by minutes. I could never imagine a result being overturned long after everyone's bathed in champagne.

I seem to be doing a really good job of sliding down on this table, even attempting a freebet run isn't doing me any favours.

There is something that I noted, looking at the table. casperBGD is still active on this pool! Did he put in predictions every single round already (it was possible with kicktipp) or is Bundesliga his last pool active owing to the great position there? Best of luck to a former sparring partner.
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⚽ Sportsbet's EURO 2024 Last Man Standing - 0.1 BTC minimum reward ⚽⚽⭐ on: May 06, 2024, 02:31:38 PM
I expect to see 30+ people minimum from BSFL and pools alone. I'll probably buy-in after the inevitable "getting kicked out" phase, 9.5mbtc set aside for buy-ins -- that has got to be the most premium fee on forum, but the format and prize makes complete sense.

Perhaps a question because of the possible tight deadlines -- what if the buy-in to deadline timeframe is very small? Just thinking of possible Bitcoin network run-ins here plus timezone. Will affect me as I'll be in a very different timezone during the tourney, I suppose one should be able to request buy-in and pay perhaps with a grace period?

P.S. What happens if a non-man joins? Will they be the Last Non-Man Standing? #shitpost

P.P.S. darxiaomi Beat me to first post -- I have a feeling Cro2 came up with something smoother!

Great win for the neutrals, always nice to see a podium finish for cherry popper, even better a maiden win. He'll be celebrating that one! Luck, they say, but you got to grab those opportunities when they come by, don't you?

So who is this nil_krokodil, and what are we going to do about him? Wink

Laugh out loud at myself for finally switching out captaincy and then Salah gets 13 points. Still a poor return by his standards but more than anyone on my team, with a front 3 that managed to collect 5 among themselves.

Nice one cygan, Gvardiol is brave. I liked Bowen for a long time too...
91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 05, 2024, 06:13:02 PM
So how many lost games has Tottenham in a consecutive way as I cannot remember the last game that they have not lost as of lately, sure they had some pretty strong opponents one after another but going and losing all these games without even taking just a single point,I think in 4-5 games even a weak team could have gotten one point. This shows how unpredictable the Premier League is and the teams that are there can show us quite the opposite performance compared to what they did show in the first games of the season,we see how Tottenham is losing every game while we also see how Chelsea is winning every game and they are barely conceding goals while doing so.

Me neither. I got burned by them just too often to ever consider them again a while back. Bedshitters, and it's a shame because Ange was pretty decent I thought -- the curse of media fawning struck him (and Newcastle) this season.

Son cuts a frustrated figure, he's too good to remain down, but he really deserves better than this.

Liverpool weren't even that scary.
92  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 Official Partner of Newcastle United Football Club on: May 05, 2024, 03:38:56 PM
Newcastle did their job. Now let's at least make the season a good one and give them a fighting chance for Europa by beating Spurs (Spurs will probably be shit in Europa anyway).

Note: I'm just shittalking since I'm still trying to comprehend the Slotmachine era about to dawn upon us. Hope we get a good game is all!
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: May 05, 2024, 02:12:09 PM
Everything is decided tomorrow and is in the hands of Salah, I lost my advantage, I am risking the hope of the Playoffs, we will have a winner regardless of other results.(3x3)

I finally brought my eyes to view the table and confirm, I have lost. Salah or no Salah. Still, hope he does you a favour and pump up some more fuel into his cylinders. If he has to end the season with nothing else, he should at least remind Slot why he's been there so long.

Every week feels like a long kiss goodbye for team buwaytress. Out of ideas. Hairdryer treatment failed. Ignoring them failed. Getting them to party failed. Full training failed. Fired the seniors and made way for academy, didn't work.

^Don't you hate teams like Girona? Make your heart go all warm and fuzzy, half the season the media were fairtytaling their story. And they score for fun, keep clean sheets, etc.

Then they drop like a stone, but instead of staying down, they gather everything around them for a good ending. Screwing up plans, bets, and my BSFL. Rant.

P.S. Getafe taking their moms on to the pitch was beautiful, too bad they lost.

Good game, notblox1. I lost the Arsenal City one and Girona just thrashed Barca, I didn't count points but I'm pretty damned sure you're ahead, with no way for me to catch up.

I'll tell my team to pack their bags and prepare for life in Division 2 because the way they're (not) playing, they might as well just throw in the towel already.
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: May 04, 2024, 04:42:32 PM
Great result for Arsenal, and great we extend the goal difference between us and City even further.

I'm gunning for Arsenal all the way here, now that my team found a way to bow out in unspectacular fashion. Gooners were objectively better all season long. More exciting (I'll pretend that 0-0 against City didn't happen, but that was the plan all along), more positive, and just well, not City.

I was hoping Tottenham win against Chelsea, I need them to be strongly fighting for the UCL spot when they face City.
I wouldn't hold my breath, isn't Arsenal the arch nemesis of Tottenham? Even if they had it in their legs to win against City I am sort of expecting them to play it casually.

Nice start for me in the pool, 2 correct scores from first 2 games, time to start turning for the worse, I just know it  Grin

Kane prevented plenty of St Totteringham days but yeah, it seems like Arsenal are back to toying with their big town rivals. What's your pick for the rest of the games? I should bet against it? Wink

^ Ipswich back, yeah! Leeds needed them to lose, but also needed to win, Ipswich will be glad Saints didn't lie down and make it easy even away.

And indeed, as you say, it's the playodds, the most valuable competition in football. It is going to be a big shame though that Leeds or Saints was one I really wanted back too, and both might not make it.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: May 03, 2024, 03:00:38 PM
Penalty from Son and a worldie for Palmer, all before HT, please. I can't go behind 0-2 before the weekend even starts!
You are asking to much  Grin
I won another point but you still have a chance because you won question 4 with Aston Villa.
First I answered No, than I changed it to Yes before sending, bad decision and bad match from Villa.

Far too much. It seems now I have to rely on Wolves to not give City too easy a task. Then we can both watch Liverpool and see our fate from there. Given that Salah has been absent for weeks, it's not looking good for me at all.

Funny we both look down on Ferrari. It would be a terrible outing for them to do badly in sprint AND race, and yet we both went for the unlikely outcome.
99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2023/24 | SFs on: May 03, 2024, 01:44:30 PM
Aston Villa - Olympiacos match is not even close to my expectation now.  Tongue  I don't know how but Aston Villa got 2 times behind and it is 2-3. Do these players have their minds busy with thw Premier League or what? They weren't looking like this in the previous rounds. Olympiacos were the last team to make difficulties for them technically. If Olympiacos somehow reach the final I will be sadder for wasting a big chance. Maybe we could have been the one to do this.

Edit: It is 2-4 now.  Grin

Same here man, same here. It's just really the universe telling me that I don't know football anymore (or I never really did).

You can watch a team, follow them a bit, measure expectations on form, determination, talent, and bookmaker odds -- and then it all goes out the window anyway.

They have nothing to fear in Premier League. They're good enough to lose 2 games and still get Champions League, so I don't understand if that's a distraction. Here and now you can win a trophy.

You know how I feel too about Liverpool. Losing to United who will of course get thrashed by City in FA Cup. And losing to Atalanta who will of course get trashed by Leverkusen. We could have had two amazing finals, but we lost to teams who were, frankly, there to be taken.

I don't know if this is true or not , but they share the same CEO on both teams ? that should not be allowed if that is true.

What on god's blessed earth? I just looked it up -- couldn't find anything about it. One Greek guy owns them and Nottingham Forest... but I don't think they allow a guy to hold two executive positions in football do they?

Thank you for the reminder as I play freebet hunt in Bundesliga.

Think most of us got 4 points for Darmstadt relegation, I've already lost the pick on Heidenheim who prevail in midtable, but still got some hopes for Bochum but I really need Mainz to start showing up.

Leverkusen loss, Freiburg win, Werder and Mainz wins. It's worth 25/1 on an acca, so that should all hit easily, no? Wink
