81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPals Bitcoin is a scam on: November 16, 2020, 12:25:39 PM
If you buy Bitcoin with Paypal, you don't own anything. You don't own a Bitcoin, you don't own a private key, you don't own an address. What you have is not in your possession. What you have is not yours because you cannot send it or pay it to buy something. This is very shady. This looks like a strange asset which is surely not Bitcoin.
82  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Low, Sell High on: November 15, 2020, 01:15:45 PM
This is a very human tendency. When things are doing well, they want to get in. When things are doing bad, they want out of it. That is the kind of attitude they are showing in their daily lives, even in Bitcoin. Or I mean the kind of attitude of the crowd, me included of course. That is why many of us are unlike the billionaires of this world. The billionaires are taking risks. While the rest are dumping with panic, they are acquiring with ease and cheap price.

We often want assurance. We want to buy while the price is increasing. This is I guess what is hindering us to gain big time.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DYP became another shit bounty project on: November 15, 2020, 12:41:18 PM
Same old same old problems in this space. Bounty hunters banned for asking legit questions. Bounty hunters not properly paid. This is indeed a sign that the project is not worth pursuing and supporting. If they cannot properly treat the ones who promoted their project so that it will achieve success, they might also not treat well the rest of the supporters.

You try raise your questions somewhere else where they are active. Perhaps they have a reddit, twitter, facebook accounts. People should be aware of the project's track record.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOUC a good example of project recovering from dump because of it's potential on: November 14, 2020, 07:33:10 AM
I still believe that a token shouldn't be losing much of its price simply because the bounty hunters are selling their payments. If a token will be losing 400%+ merely due to bounty hunters dumping, then there is enough reason to believe that there is in fact very low demand of that token in the first place.

How much percentage of the total circulating supply of YOUC tokens actually went for the payment of bounty hunters? I guess it is very small. It should easily be balanced out by the demand, but that's if and only if there are investors who want to buy them. So it cannot be totally blamed to bounty hunters.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will XRP Down below 0.2$ once BTC Dominance rises above 68? on: November 14, 2020, 07:02:07 AM
Hello everyone, I want to discuss the price of XRP which is one of the old coins that if BTC.D rises to above 68, then Altcoins will crash so hard, as well as XRP and when it crashes it's the right time to buy altcoins, what do you think?  if anyone can give an chart/TA it is very helpful. Thanks

It may happen at any time, even with Bitcoin dominance lower that 68%. Ripple is reliable, but too many coins are rotating on the market. Finally, it can bring Ripple holders to the situation, when the price of a coin equal $0.2 will seem to them pretty good.

Well, Yes, if you look at the last 4 year cycle, the price of ripple fell and then went up drastically.  surely we hope there will be the same pattern happening later this year.  The price is currently starting to down considering the dominance of Bitcoin is also climbing high.  If the traders / investors believe they will start buy to fill their bags

It looks like the Bitcoin dominance will last for some time now. This might put the potential of XRP's price to be pinned lower than $0.3. All eyes are on Bitcoin right now and in the past weeks. I think the rest of the days of this year is really for Bitcoin. Those who have big bags of XRP will have to think really wise whether to keep them or shift to Bitcoin for the time being. There is still some room for Bitcoin to grow in the next several weeks of 2020.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will XRP Down below 0.2$ once BTC Dominance rises above 68? on: November 13, 2020, 12:48:51 PM
XRP is a pretty solid altcoin. There is little possibility that it will crash so hard as you may fear. That's hard to happen even if Bitcoin is rallying hard right now. XRP will crash only if there is a big problem directly involving the project itself. It cannot just crash simply because Bitcoin's price is flying so high.

For the past couple of months at least there is no very special event with XRP's price. It seldom goes outside the $0.24-$0.27 price range.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin continues the positive trend today, is the altcoin market in trouble? on: November 13, 2020, 12:03:12 PM
Sometimes its normal for the altcoins to suffer some falling of prices during a bullish Bitcoin. That is normal as traders and investors would rather pull out their funds from altcoins and transfer them to Bitcoin. They are just looking for a bigger profit. But there are also times when the bull run is not just exclusive to Bitcoin but is also happening to altcoins. I think that is what is generally happening right now. I am currently bullish for ETH, for example.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin pump and dump on: November 12, 2020, 12:48:06 PM
What are your bases in saying that those projects look promising and legit? It is hard to tell but a thorough and careful research would tell you whether a project is a scam or not.

Ask yourself in your research some of these important questions. What are their objectives? Why are they pursuing such objectives? Do they have a carefully laid out and practical plan on how to meet their goals? Who are the development team? Do they have a track record in blockchain and crypto? Have they released a working, tested, and used product? Have they created important partnerships?
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020... Altseason? on: November 12, 2020, 01:49:32 AM
Bitcoin is not steadying, mate. It is aggressively in a bull run. If your altcoin is not showing any signs of growth, sell them for Bitcoin. Bitcoin is going to create a new ATH soon and it might run over the altcoins on its way. But if your altcoin is one of the top ones, you don't have to worry about it. I think they are going to benefit as well from this bull run. I can see how ETH and XMR and other major altcoins are also gaining in prices in this bull season.
90  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is the secret to success in trading? on: November 12, 2020, 01:14:39 AM
After learning all these, I would say get into it and you will learn by and by how everything works. These are not secret things. These are always there as the rational approach in trading. Your success in trading does not depend on any secret. It all depends on the right approach to it which is not at all hidden.

Be focused, determined, and hardworking. Sometimes it all falls down on how much effort you exert.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Ether Wallet Scam on: November 11, 2020, 12:06:32 PM
This is very elementary. Why would you save your private keys online? If you are keeping your keys online, then you are somehow like keeping your funds in a custodial wallet. In the first place, you have kept your funds in a wallet where you own your private keys so that you really own your funds. But if you already have them and then save them somewhere other people could possibly force to access then the purpose is already defeated.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cloud storage isn't safe place for your wallet keys on: November 11, 2020, 08:39:15 AM
You better go back to the primitive ways of storing very vital information such as your private keys than use the latest technologies like cloud storage. If you are storing your wallet keys in a storage facility which could possibly be accessed by a lot of people, has a server, managed and operated by a certain private company, it is not safe. It is a lot safer if you just write it down on a piece of paper, roll it, and put it inside a piece of bamboo.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUY 32 ETH on: November 10, 2020, 01:19:39 PM
In a cz tweet he said ("" I might buy 32 #ETH, just for the cause. Not financial advice. Just supporting ETH development "")

I might buy 32 ETH, not financial advice, just bought it and trying to tell the world about it to pump the coin so I can profit. Wink

Who are you trying to fool CZ?

LOL. Not sure about it but that is possible. Do you think CZ is hodling a lot of ETH with him? Or does he need to? Do you think this very rich man needs to shill Ethereum for the sake of money? I really doubt that but like I said it is also possible.

Personally I am reading this as a legit way of saying let us try this new ETH development and see how it works or turns out.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUY 32 ETH on: November 10, 2020, 12:43:37 PM
If only I have the 32 ETH I would certainly be one of those who are depositing such amount for staking. I am a fan of Ethereum and am one of a lot of people who are waiting for the ETH 2.0 implementation to happen. I am holding ETH in my wallet but only an amount which cannot even reach half of the staking requirement.

This is nice hearing Binance supporting ETH development. They need not really be heavily criticizing each other for the sake of bringing each other down.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum User Spends $9,500 in Fees Sending Just $120 on: November 09, 2020, 01:36:47 PM
This is just a little slip that unfortunately costs high. I say a little slip because it could have been avoided. Errors on fees could really be avoided if those individuals involved in the transaction repeatedly checked them before confirming. Sadly, some people are in too much hurry or very complacent that their transactions are already good to go without even double-checking on them first.

What I also don't understand is that errors like this is still happening all the time. I don't know how people would finally learn their lessons and start to be careful in their transactions.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: this is the time for Ethereum on: November 09, 2020, 12:53:07 PM
$1,000 is possible but I think Ethereum might have a very hard time reaching as high as that within the year. The price has started to grow now. Ethereum 2.0 has already started accepting ETH for staking and the shifting of the network to PoS. This is another reason why the price might rise big time in the remaining weeks of 2020. Thousands of ETH will surely be locked out for staking. This will reduce the amount in circulation.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a scam airdrop? on: November 08, 2020, 02:40:13 PM
If the basis for you calling them a scam is that they only send you an amount which is lesser than their minimum withdrawal, then I don't think it is a scam. They said they will give an airdrop. Yes, it is free of course. You're not going to pay any amount as a condition for you receiving their free airdrop. And you confirm that you have received them, even almost instantly. That means they did not fail in their promise. But then the minimum withdrawal is a different story. The airdrop was a ploy but it did not make them a scam.
98  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How btc price correction make things right. And what you should be aware of. on: November 08, 2020, 12:58:23 PM
Just invest in the major coins. You can't go wrong with the likes of BTC, XMR, LTC , and ETH for example.

Don't be afraid of corrections. They always happen and normally after a nice rally. They could always be used to your advantage. That's buying days for all of us. Just don't allow yourself to get carried away by emotions seeing red candles.
Price correction is needed by the people who wants to enter the market at lower price as well to avoid too much crash in the market when the price went too high. We should be aware of that some point when the price arises it will sure to fall down so we must monitor it properly when we know that the price we're getting higher so once it shows some start of low points we will be able to withdraw and get some profit.

Price correction is a result of some people selling. They must have already earned a decent profit that they think they should now exit and sealed their gains. It does not mean they won't enter the market once again, though. They will in due time, after the price has already moved down a bit. Others may not have made a bigger profit but they think the price increase is already high enough for it to probably correct that is why they considered selling as the best option.

100  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can you trust a cryptocurrency exchange? on: May 08, 2020, 03:42:06 PM
Can you trust a cryptocurrency exchange?

100%? Of course I don't, but do we have a choice?

At least I am trying to be safer by choosing the top ones rather than those that are promoting themselves as better exchanges but have yet to prove that they really are the safest choices.
