641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Holding BTC at this satge is a bad idea? on: December 07, 2018, 06:29:40 AM
BTC is showing weakness and loosing ground day by day I think it is the time for the investors to book profit who are on profit and minimize losses who already suffered a big loss. Can anybody enlighten me on this issue now?

It is entirely your call. For sure, you are reading opposing views on this. Even experts and long-time BTC supporters have different takes on this. I, however, would prefer to HODL because I am already losing. I just would not accept a losing end. At the end of the day, I am 100% percent sure that this downtrend streak is temporary. I am counting on the early weeks of 2019 for the recovery.
642  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will not DIE, People Die; Will you be the Last Man HODLing? on: December 07, 2018, 05:40:30 AM
Every single man or woman who decides on what to do with his or her involvement with Bitcoin will only have himself or herself to blame. You do not just HODL because you have read somewhere that it is the best thing to do. You do not just put all your savings into Bitcoin because a friend or a colleague or a thread says so. You just do not simply jump into something because somebody is telling you to.

I do not like it when you try to play the blaming game, pointing fingers at other people when in fact the last call is on every single person. Everyone has the responsibility to do research, read, explore, analyze, understand, and so on and so forth.

If someone is losing his or her savings after following the advice of somebody anonymous in a forum who is saying that buying and HODLing BTC is the best thing to do, the loser is the one to blame. He or she and nobody else is solely responsible.
643  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Treat trading as your job on: December 07, 2018, 05:11:29 AM
As for me, it is better to treat trading as a hobby. So far, all of my jobs have given me the stress I don't experience when I am indulged in my hobbies. Well, the two might be closely related. But I do not trade all the time. I am not an expert one at that. At times like these, I completely stay away from trading platforms. I prefer to HODL when the market is bleeding. I want to avoid stress.
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You've earned tons of tokens, NOW WHAT? on: December 06, 2018, 12:33:43 PM
It depends on the tokens that you have. You may have tokens whose actual use you may want to avail. You may also have tokens that looks like crap so you will sell them as soon as they are already traded in an exchange. You may also have tokens which looks like having a bright future so you will continue to HODL them. It really depends. There is no general rule as to what you will do with all of your tokens.
645  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the market on: December 06, 2018, 11:04:06 AM
The crypto market is highly unpredictable. You simply cannot expect it to pump because you want it, or even because the past couple of weeks or even several months earlier everything was dumping. It is simply moving according to the overall sentiment of Bitcoin investors, which is also highly dependent on so many factors.
646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yes We Believe in BTC even as the Price Falls on: December 06, 2018, 10:33:09 AM
A lot of people are worried.  I say worry not.   Eventualy the price will hit new highs beyond 20k, no question.   The real question is when, and nobody knows for sure.

Let the price fall, and fall it will, until people have given up.  Then, the price can start 5 wave moves up again.   This is how it always plays out.

day by day market  goes to down & every  crypto lovers become  hurt badly  for this kind of situation . so tension  is going  on but personally  I still hold my mind & waiting  for market  recovery. I hope that after  this year bitcoin will be bounced  back properly .

The cryptocurrency market is always bouncing up and down like a ball. Was there ever a time when the lines on the charts are a straight horizontal lines? No. We should be more surprised when that happens. That means death to crypto already. That means there are no more traders who are interested enough to make something out of a market that rises and falls.

Keep the faith!
647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are the true believers of Bitcoin? on: December 06, 2018, 10:03:21 AM
The real supporters of Bitcoin do not panic. If a Jr. Member like you knows the truth of the price movements, so are the true-blooded Bitcoin community members. The catch is that they remain quiet. They do not talk a lot even if the market is dipping. They do not create useless hype for the sake of stopping the dip. A dip is a normal occurrence in the history of Bitcoin. We just have to wait for the greener days.
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding multiple altcoins on: December 06, 2018, 09:33:48 AM
A multiple-currency wallet is the best. However, I do not store all of my coins in a single wallet. I would never do that, or perhaps I could not. I have accounts in several exchanges. And so I cannot but use several wallets as well. But my coins for long term hodling will also be in different baskets. Just for the sake of security and accessibility. I have a local wallet as well for my bills payment and load supply.
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run in december on: December 05, 2018, 07:21:35 AM
We are 4 days from the last month of the year( December). There have been a lot of predictions of a possible bull run in December. The market prices are low right now compared to about two months ago.

Are you still positive there is going to be a bull run?

Should there be a bull run within this month that would be much appreciated. Everyone's waiting for it. That is the only thing that we would like to happen as soon as possible. However, such bull run will definitely fall short of recovering the loss that Bitcoin suffered for the entire year, considering that the all time high of Bitcoin has reached around $20,000. But a bull run in December will at least push Bitcoin's price a bit higher.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't quit investing on: December 05, 2018, 06:46:25 AM
It takes courage to invest during these hard times. But then again it is only the courageous who will achieve success. The weak ones will one day regret having had second thoughts to buy when the prices are still low. But the regrets will arrive too late, as always. Red season means buying season. The brave ones will strike while the iron is hot.
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need help, actually a little guidance. on: December 03, 2018, 03:30:16 AM
With there being so many options out there for obtaining cryptocurrency what do you think is the best? Would it be Cloud mining, trading with your own money, just buying and holding, spending the 2,000 plus dollars and buying a mining rig, I'm completely ignorant when it comes to these things and would love to know some insight from people who deal with this constantly. Thank you very much

Investing is the best way. But not the easiest way apparently. You will have to shell out a certain amount for it. But then the season right now is for buying. The top coins are so cheap. Cloud mining for me is more or less a waste of time and effort. Buying a mining rig as of this time might be another bad idea. Mining right now is not the best option. The market is clearly bad to start mining. Moreover, you need to study it first. You could actually try joining crypto campaigns, especially those that will pay you in BTC.

652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not worry about the future of Bitcoin! It is just beginning on: December 03, 2018, 02:17:06 AM
Bitcoin is not the price. It is way beyond what we can see in the charts. It is a technology first and foremost. Its value as a traded "asset" or "commodity" is simply secondary. It is a mode of payment. If people will only treat Bitcoin as a store of value, sooner or later it will really lose everything. But if people will treat it more as a currency, then it will indeed replace our old fiat money in the most proper time.
653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Survey Shows 80% Of Americans Have Heard Of Bitcoin on: December 02, 2018, 07:06:26 AM
In fact, we can see the first Deadpool movie with a scene with conversation saying "Bitcoin", I forgot the release date of the film and if it wasn't mistaken it was before this thread was created. So it is clear that developed countries are already familiar with bitcoin for longer.

That was another indication that Bitcoin is near mainstream. I have also watched a portion of Ellen DeGeneres' show which talked about Bitcoin. And when she made mention of it, the people in the audience were clapping their hands and cheering. I think it showed the state of Bitcoin's popularity in the US despite the infamous reputation the banks and the SEC is painting it with.
654  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL'ers lose. That is no surprise on: December 02, 2018, 05:48:35 AM
HODLers lose? I don't know. But as far as my experience is concerned, that is quite the opposite. When I entered in the world of cryptocurrency, I was just like every newbie. I was naive. I was easily emotional. I looked and checked on my portfolio almost every minute of the day. And the moment there is a bloodbath, I would sell. I lost a huge amount of investment because of such attitude. And then I learned to HODL. That's the time when I matured a bit. And that's the time when I earned a good amount.
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: seling or holding your altcoin ? on: December 01, 2018, 04:53:42 AM
as price is going down what is the best stredigy for for altcoin

It depends on your analysis. If the downward movement is expected to last a little longer or deeper, better sell it and then buy it back when it is already in its lowest point, or somewhere near it. But if it appears to be a temporary or a normal dip, you can just leave it. The green candle will take over in a little while. Just remain calm, most of all.
656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does it even matter if governments and banks accept cryptocurrency? on: November 30, 2018, 03:20:54 AM
I think it does. It would actually promote cryptocurrency at the very least. There are so many people who are still doubting cryptocurrency, its legitimacy and practicality. If the governments and the banks themselves accept crypto, it is like a very solid statement of support to cryptocurrency's legitimacy and practicality. It would hasten the rise of cryptocurrency because the legion of status quo supporters would then realize that indeed cryptocurrency will work.
657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make Bitcoin Great Again on: November 30, 2018, 02:46:18 AM
Bitcoin has always been great. Day by day its greatness is getting stronger and stronger. However, the price of Bitcoin is always moving. It does not mean however that when the price is dumping it has turned less great. It remains great. It's just that the crypto reality is unstable. The prices rise and fall all the time. But if we want to support Bitcoin most especially during the bear seasons, we should stick to it, continue using it, and HODL the rest.
658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth the work and waiting? on: November 30, 2018, 02:01:52 AM
So you have being wearing a signature for more that ten weeks. Each week you made more than 15 post on different thread on this forum. And just when you done with the campaign you have been asked to keep the signature for three more weeks while wait for stakes to be calculated. After stakes are calculated, it takes more than 3+ weeks for tokens to arrive in your wallet. and a month for the token to go on exchange. On exchange, all your token is worth for your hard work is just less than $50.
How do you feel?
How will you react?

I have been involved in signature campaigns for a long while already. I admit I have complained several times but then I am also aware that it is always a part of the possibilities of the campaign you are joining. It could even end up a failure or worse a scam. I have translated whitepapers and announcement posts of projects that did not even survive at the ICO stage. I received nothing in the end. There is no point complaining because I knew the risks all along.
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency replace fiat money? on: November 29, 2018, 09:46:37 AM
Sometime in the distant future this may happen, but it will take a long time before everyone starts to trust this new currency.

I agree. This will take place in the future. That is for sure. The paper bills and coins will definitely come into an obsolete age. The digital era will not be consistent with a physical money and so I believe that digital currencies or cryptocurrencies will take it away. But then the process will definitely be long. It will not happen overnight, as easy as we might thought. Furthermore, there are still a lot of powerful institutions that are blocking the way.
660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This is a golden time on: November 29, 2018, 08:16:09 AM
Actually, this is recurring. Every now and then, there is a dump that happens. Everyone can always wait for a dip before buying. The problem is that there are people who are spreading so many FUDs when there is a dip, causing the price to go down much lower as it should be. And when there are news that could affect the prices of coins, they would add so much negative interpretation and forecast to it. The result is a massive dump because there are so many crypto fans that are generally weak.
