801  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-07] Vancouver Mayor Wants to Ban Bitcoin ATMs on: June 17, 2019, 09:05:42 PM
he doesn't understand what is he talking about , bitcoin ATMs being used by money launderers , seriously ...
just put your best sock on the head , walk into the ATM machine area , smile for the camera , then wait for the transaction to complete and get the cash
with the banknote numbers , potentially , in the database already
Vancouver knows how to legalize dope but they do not know how to make bitcoin ATMs to serve the purpose they are supposed to serve - to exchange coins for cash and vice versa

Wow, this site seems to be very interesting to me. Here are some interesting bonuses that I really like. I have visited this site, I have found this site's graphics design and good quality. Considering all aspects, I love this site from my side.

it is a cool site indeed , it grows on you the more time you spend on it
the chat you either love or hate to death ( depending of how prudish you are  Grin  )
glad you discovered Bitvest , better late then never
bring friends! ( enemies will do too )
and yeah Keno is coming , brace yourselves
803  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 BITSLER.com 🔥 CASHBACK 🌟 NEW LEVELS 🌟 NEW RANKS🌟 CHEST PRIZES OF $35,000 💰 on: June 17, 2019, 04:24:29 PM
^ I think you misunderstood. There is no $25+$25 giveaway just the $25 when registering an account on coinbase and passing their kyc procedure to get your account verified and ready to be able to use their trading platform.
I think I also hear from somebody on the chat it is $35 now due to the increase int all cryptocurrency across the board but they still give you the same amount of stellar lumens regardless. Wink

i think he mentions two services so i think it will be from blockchain and coinbase.
as you know that blockchain currently holds a giveaway for stellar https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019105951-How-to-participate-in-the-Stellar-airdrop

Yes, correct. $25 from Blockchain + $25 from Coinbase, also I find some experience from another user, on Coinbase is possible to earn more watching some videos.

Also, I know Stellar on different services have different requirements. On one exchange I need to have 20 Stellar on my account then I can withdraw balance but without this 20 XLM. So, there is 20XLM = zero balance and is not possible to spend them. Same situation, long time ago when I use one Stellar web wallet.
How as resolved here on Bitsler? Can we create XLM address without balance and whether the total amount is spendable?

I don't know why people are so eager to reveal their identity for 25$ in XLM
this is a paid KYC , basically , they are collecting data for their needs and paying with the crypto they got , probably for free too
there is a XLM address already at Bitsler , you do not need to create anything
ah and you have to get the memo id right , since XLM won't be credited without it
and if you want to withdraw , the only requirement is that you have over the minimal withdraw amount on your balance
804  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: June 17, 2019, 12:33:57 PM
Can I register account on Stake.com using TOR browser or Brave Browser on Tor network? I ask this because I try to register account using TOR, but it seems that it is unable to do like this. Capcha appears from time to time, and does not stop, so registration can not be finished. Today, my log in using TOR also been slow down, but I don't think it is reason why I can no register account on Stake.com via Tor network? Are there explanation why it happened and solutions (if possible)? Thanks.

why would you want to use TOR when there are plenty of free VPN available?
TOR has bad nodes that are blacklisted by recaptcha thats why you can not enter it , try switching the identites until it works
all in all it is slow , unreliable and there is a high chance other players be on the same node and you will be flagged as a multi-account
you would not want that , believe me ( well same thing goes for the public VPN though)
solution is simple: buy a 15$ a year VPN and enjoy life
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bull run due to Binance no longer serving US customers? on: June 17, 2019, 11:31:01 AM
It is also important to say this is only affect users who are not verified, others can mask their IP by VPN / proxy and still use this exchange because there is no obligation for KYC for withdrawals under 2 BTC.

i'd be surprised if that lasts for long. with FATF guidance coming out in a few days, we're gonna see renewed pressure on exchanges to implement stronger AML/KYC. they're talking about regulatory transaction reporting on anyone who moves $1000+. if binance doesn't comply, malta is gonna show them the door.

definitely not going to last , I fully expect them to cut the daily withdrawal to some retardedly low sum
or introduce KYC on the first withdrawal over a total sum of , say 0.05
Binance can not just ignore what the US says , heck almost none can ( except China ,Russia ,Iran ,North Korea , India ... well some can )
and the course of action here is simple - cut the ways that money can flow in and out of the US economy
control it and tax it , or confiscate it when needed
806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bull run due to Binance no longer serving US customers? on: June 16, 2019, 09:55:20 PM
while this could have been one of the reasons of the bull run
I highly doubt Binance refusing to serve US customers was the cause for such a  growth
besides the trending started much earlier , this is simply a coincidence
but I do not like how the top exchanges simply cut a solid part of their customer base off
there must be troubles with the US financial and other institutions so Binance chose not to bother and risk anymore
807  Economy / Gambling / Re: Diceum.com | Faucet | Invest | Affiliates | 10+ currencies on: June 16, 2019, 08:20:00 PM
The site looks good and legit at first but it seems that there's no much evidence for its claims such as 'provably fair' gambling and there's no mention of KYC either, or did I miss it all?
Maximum site does not require KYC if they do not think you are trying to scam or if they do not think there is anything which is being used by scammer.

doesn't make much sense - it is either written in TOS or not
if KYC is not mentioned in their TOS , means that they are not going to enforce it - simple as that
in some cases , even provably fair sites put KYC in their TOS - example : Stake  and Primedice
but this is more due to the fact that there might be a valid reason to check the identity , i.e. stolen or tainted coins and so on
doesn't mean that they ask you for KYC even if you win 10-20 btc
unlike your regular casino where you can be asked for KYC after every step of you trying to get the money out of them

Apologies all, we are having unforeseen issues with an upgrade+move to new servers.

We'll be back online as soon as we can - faster and better than ever!

Sorry again for the inconvenience.

the funny thing that I haven't logged in for a while , maybe over  a month
then I decide to log in I see the 403 error and my first thought was : oh yet another lottery site bit the dust
then checked the next day and the site was inaccessible , could not find any interesting info on Google so decided to have a look at 8bet's bitcointalk topic
glad that everything is fine and it was a temporary snag

809  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-15] Bitcoin Surpasses 1 Million Daily Active Addresses on: June 16, 2019, 01:20:45 PM
Pretty interesting to follow the number of daily active addresses of various coins, which makes it even more clear what platforms are actually being used.

Bitcoin 650,000 last 24h
Ethereum 515,000 last 24h
Litecoin 73,000 last 24h
Dogecoin 60,000 last 24h
Dash 49,000 last 24h
BCash 31,000 last 24h
BSV 9000 last 24h

It's even more impressive for Bitcoin when you take into consideration that Ethereum addresses are mostly used for tokens and not the native Ether. Nice.

Dogecoin is pretty strongly represented too. I like how firm that community is and they really seem to have a good time using it as micro transaction tool, and that without the toxic mentality.

interesting stats , although different addresses doesn't mean different wallets
an active bitcoin user is constantly rotating his addies , so the figure could be 3-4 times less
but this doesn't change the fact that bitcoin , despite the fees and block waits , remains the most used by far
810  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice.com – The World's Best Fully Featured Casino. Play or Invest! on: June 16, 2019, 12:02:01 PM
Humph… okay, your website looks good and everything is working. But what are you calling an investment?  A ponzi scheme? That's no investment, it's still the same thing as gambling with your money. And I don't do ponzi schemes, if I want to do investment I go for a real investment that I'm sure about what' I'm. Going to gain from it. Bitcoin is the only investment I do that. Not sure of what's going to be the outcome, but others I do are not like that. Your website is good but what you have explained is not an investment but a ponzi and I don't like ponzi, cause you already know how they always disappoint and worst of it all you're still new.

The strange thing about a lot of you people with Stake is that you do not seem to really understand a lot of the concepts in crypto gambling. You do realize also that all investments actually are,,, a form of gambling, right? You gamble on the success of the business or the idea or the investment, whether it is casino bankroll or a real life business or stocks markets. You should really be sure of what you talk about before accusing others of ponzi.

I only pay attention to a chosen few posters wearing Stake's sig now , to be honest
most of them have no idea what are they talking about , at least when gambling is concerned
and what do you expect when they are getting paid 3$ per 10 posts , the only thing they care is to churn as many posts as they can

investment is when the house advantage is on your side , you , technically , bet against the players with a certain leverage aka margin
this way your win ( and loss) is proportional to the amount of money you invested vs the total bankroll
while paying a handling fee , usually 30-40% of the profit, it is VERY profitable , usually
I have a 2 year history of investing into different bankrolls , so far only one of them can be considered bad
the rest were/are making profit , slowly but steadily

I, personally, loved today's Race.. I had a lot of fun watching Eddie to gamble (his streams are always fun to watch imo), managed to end in 28th place and received almost 0.09 ETH as prize.. not to mention these 0.044 BTC I made as profit while playing trying to catch a higher position before the Race ends.. a really amazing morning for me, thanks to Stake <3

you are the lucky one who win to Race of the stake. But I do not know where can see the link of the race because the telegram group only announce that Race will be soon not provide where we can find the link to for us to win also. You win also that profit that is very huge amount of bitcoin and you just like double win  because you win in playing and also to the Race.

Why do you need a link for the race while the race is always running on the site? You can simply visit the site when the race start then you can start playing if you want to participate. There is a live leaderboard for the race as you can see under the game board, next to the High Roller tab.
Yesterday race was a race with the biggest prizepool so far IIRC, I did participate on it with the free voucher/coupon from the VIP group and I finished at 41st with a prize of 0.051xxETH although I did not make profit while playing for the race but it was fun race.

I suggest there is a races history somewhere ,so we can recall the glory or lament the losses
with the tables and the prizes and names , now it looks like the site has amnesia every time the race is finished
it pays you and there is no trace of it anymore  Undecided
the latest race was the biggest so far and 100 winners made it relatively easy to get into the top and actually get some coins
was a special event , though , don't expect it to happen every day  Roll Eyes

Uber and Paypal , what can ever go wrong ?
40-50 mil USD is not something super lavish for a huge crypto project like that
and it is so secretive that even the figures were revealed ? doesn't make sense
but one thing for sure : this has as much to do with the cryptocurrencies in its orthodox definition as my grandma with nuclear physics
fiat backed , tied to a basket of freely printed paper , controlled by one of  the companies that wants crypto suddenly board a rocket and go to Maars and never come back ( PayPal)

Looks like they added another ranking to the star status of their vip system. Have seen many of the previous holders of silver and gold stars upgraded respectively to gold and a new platinum color just an hour ago.
Very nice of them to give the additional ultimate status star to those who bet quite a bit on the site and hopefully they will receive alot of incentives to continue using the platform with the improvements happen such as the addition of the sportsbooks which has been talked about for quite sometime now. Grin

while the additional VIP  ranks are good and all , I highly doubt teal star was the right choice for the top VIP rank
it just doesn't look classy enough , IMHO - just look at Etude
my golden start looks nice and fuels me with optimism when I deposit ( which vanishes as soon as I lose , but thats a different story )
I think the golden rank should be the top one and the lowest rank  something like wooden or copper Smiley
p.s. great event ,Ed , thank you for being awesome
814  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitdouble.io |social gambling game |Prov fair | 0.005 mBit faucet | New PVP game on: June 15, 2019, 03:21:57 PM
Hi. I just want to know, is there any first deposit bonus on your site like some sites have 100% bonus and some wagger requirements? Or any other bonus?
As previously said, there is not wagered requirement to unlock your bonuses. If you need any help, feel free to ask to all mods you'll find in chat. You'll be able to chat in some languages on Bitdouble.io

there are no deposit bonuses at bitdouble.io
it is not your conventional fiat casino , they position themselves as a social gambling site and indeed - chat and socializing plays a big role there
the chat is always full of people and moderators are hosting trivias and games very often
as for the bonuses ,bitdouble has level bonuses ,they are unlocked when you wager a certain amount of coins and are called VIP levels
the first ones are very easy to unlock , but only the hardcore players can get to the highest levels ( where the prizes are super awesome, I have to admit )
815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Rising, Scams Rising on: June 15, 2019, 03:02:13 PM
the article itself is pretty old as far as I know
and here we go again - the media hypes bitcoin and projects it as something that criminals use
if we look at the amount of bitcoin scams and money laundering vs fiat , it pales in comparison
but bitcoin is news so they continue to feed us this nonsense time after time
almost every more or less notable crime that involves cryptocurrencies , immediately is in the news
while the day after day banking schemes and fiat related crimes are too many and too often to cause any interest from the general public
816  Economy / Gambling / Re: [INTEREST CHECK] Dice Duels! Play against other players! - BTCDice.games on: June 15, 2019, 12:01:16 PM
have seen this kind of projects ,not based on dice , but the PVP model in general
hate to disappoint you , but it won't be a hit
I don't know your coding skills but the main drawbacks of such a project :
1. high average stake time- you have to find an opponent , it takes time and on some sites I saw people praying for anyone at all to accept their bet , after a couple of days of waiting
2. provably fair implementation , difficult to prove that your opponent is not a house bot with advantage
3. low total market for this sort of games , people are used to playing vs a casino with a 1% house edge
so there won't be a que to join the game ,I'm afraid
and similar project never took off , name a single PVP casino that is popular , I dare you
all in all , a PVP game or two  on a casino can work , a 100% PVP based casino , most likely won't

This is what I asked above, the major difficulty of PVP and not just for dice, is to gain a LOT of players. Even for mobile apps when doing PvP for popular ones,,, you can wait even 1 or 2 minutes and that is the wait that is not worth for a lot people including me. Gamblers I believe have an even lower waiting willingness.

So the key is to code in where you can put the bet and go offline and leave it in some sort of smart contract, and a way to encourage people to join because you needs 100 people immediately for every game otherwise it does not work.

unfortunately , this problem has not been solved
on chain games have their own limitations vs offchain games
but again , the main problem of PVP is the waiting time between the bets
why wait when you can gamble away 2-3 bets per second on provably fair , established casinos like Bitvest or Stake?
you got to offer something really special for people to join and stay on the site , otherwise it is going to be yet another stillborn project

Our investment opportunity is definitely not a Ponzi scheme. A Ponzi/pyramid scheme pays out people by other people investing. We pay people out by gamblers losing to the house edge. They are fundamentally different principles. We created a separate section in our FAQ to clear up the confusion. Please click here for a more detailed explanation.

To better understand how casino investing works, click here. We have lots of information about investing in our free guide on MintDice.com and in our FAQ.

investing in a casino's bankroll is not a Ponzi , I wonder where did people take this idea from ?
the only thing in common is that it is risky and you can turn negative profit if some whale(s) get lucky
other than that investing is the best and the safest way to gain some profit on your coins that otherwise be gathering dust in your wallets
mind you , never invest or gamble more than you can lose and do not consider it as the only source of income
you have a decent FAQ on investment , I suggest you take a page of bitvest's book and add information about how you store and handle bankroll:

another new bitcoin casino has entered the market
my first experience was VERY laggy , on a desktop , too
and I wasn't able to chat no matter what I tried , I guess there are some newbie restrictions in palce but you should inform the player what he needs to do to be able to chat in this case
dice game looks cool , covers all the bases with autobet and free faucet to try it out
nice plinko concept , you would not believe it , but I have been discussing exactly the same dropping dice graphics a few days ago , looks like great minds think alike  Cheesy
have yet to test the rest of the games, the site is brand new so I guess I will have enough time to do that
