I found this a very interesting chart. Even though we do have a long way to go, it does feel good topping the charts! Love you guys that are supporting us! It's the wonderful people like you that make great things in life possible. <3 Oh yeah, but have you even looked at the current value, of your shitty coin? So much for $5 a coin

Maybe I'm missing something here. The coin is called nanotokens, yet the block rewards look to be retarded... nano- — combining form 1. n denoting 10 --9 : nanosecond 2. indicating extreme smallness: nanoplankton [from Latin nānus dwarf, from Greek nanos ] I'm confused... Oh, and I really hate coins, with stupid block sizes, I'm out.

lol, think there maybe some copyright problems there.

So what you've done is you've made a coin that has everything needed to make the developers rich when they dump every coin in a few weeks time? Good job!
/e; I shouldn't say "Developers", because copy&pasting is hardly developing.
The premine is tiny. Would never make me "rich". Unless ofcourse, it surpassed litecoin or Bitcoin, but, in that case, I deserve a little profit. I'm giving most of my premine away, over time. Very few coins, are written from scratch. I took something existing, and made it better. Not uncommon for to use already existing source code, to make something else. That's why source code exists, and that's the deffenition of open source. I'm sorry you don't like my coin. Define " better ". What you've done is changed some numbers. You probably don't even truly know what they do, just that they do something and that something will generate free money for you if people are dumb enough to mine your shitcoin. Also, you're right that not many coins are written from scratch. I'd say < 0.5%. However, the coins that actually made it anywhere isn't pure copy&paste. They are actually contributing with something new, your coin is not. Just stop this madness... Don't be an asshole. I actually looked at the code. Yes he started with the foocoin source code. sure he probably followed the guide for the most part. But he did go deeper, and change some more complicated features, such as diff adjust and the reward ramping. Is it copy paste for the most part, yep. Did takes as much work as starting from scratch? nope. Did he still spend probably at least 2 weeks of his spare time, researching, compiling and testing? probably. At least it has a working windows client, and he only premined a very small fraction. I'm not defending this shitty coin, but the guy generally seemed like he made this coin as a learning experience. This could just be a test coin. maybe something better is in the works.

Right, but in a non merged environment I suppose I could mine more NMC. May be I'm wrong.
Thanks
So, you can mine BTC and NMC, or, you could just mine the same ammount of NMC without the BTC...Kinda seems like a no brainer

One question : WHY this coin ? What does it add ?
It's a fast coin. 35 seconds, long enough to eliminate orphans/stales, but still fast enough to provide quick transactions. It has a smaller block reward, to prevent saturation of the market, allowing it to hold value well, but not so small, as to require insanely small transactions, to the 6th decimal place. It has an active, dedicated Dev. I'm here to answer all questions, and help anyway I can. This is created for the love of Crypto Currency. I'm not looking to get rich, just learn and have fun with it. I am not a programmer, so, the creation of this coin, has been a fun learning experience, and I just wanted to share my creation. Bah, fair enough. I won't mine it, I think it's a useless clone coin, but, I do respect your response.

I'll be glad to give it a try, brother, if your still having issues. Or, I'll offer some advice. I found it much easier, to use VMWare, with Mac OSX, to get the merkle, and the genesis block. I just compiled the command line client each time. I didn't compile my windows client, until all the code in was good to go. Windows is such a pain in the ass.
Once its set up its not too bad. I had some wierd problems. In Windows, I couldn't get the command line wallet to compile, but the GUI QT wallet, compiled fine. In MAC OSX Mountain Lion, I got the command line wallet to compile fine, but couldn't get the GUI wallet to compile. I need to do a whole lot more reading on this C++ thing. Anyways, I'll be glad to try your code. I don't even need any sort of payment, I aprecriate the practice.

well i guess someone was just trolling. still have these for sale.
will throw in my Alphacoins (8k) as well. make an offer on those if interested.
price reduced on IFC. 4.0 LTC firm.
I was not trolling, I wanted to buy them. Unfortunately, I received a better offer via PM so I am not longer interested in your deal (unless you lower your price - my offer was 0.35 ltc per million). Have a nice day Little confused why people are buying these at all....

holy difficulty batman. Probably adjusting way to quickly, for a coin that can only be mined solo

What is the name of your coin?
Thats classified

I've been playing around with my own coin. After 119 blocks, my block reward dropped to zero for some reason. after I debug and figure that out, how do I roll back the client to my check point?
NVM, 1 of my pc's had just stopped syncing. Fixed it

That doesn't quite work. A lot of people ignore me, because I'm an asshole, but I've never scammed anyone

It's trading in 6 decimal places, with a block reward of 40, and a difficulty of next to nothing

being a coin collecter.... wait... back up... a REAL physical coin collector.... i know that there have been many real coins minted in the past, like the buffalo nickel for example. wasnt worth jack shit 100 years ago, so people tossed em out and did not preserve many. Now people are willing to pay 1000's for a single buffalo nickle.
my theory is that 100 years from now(or much sooner), people will grow up collecting different cryptocoins instead of collecting pennies like i started with as a kid (many other people share the childhood penny collector phase). When something is a collection, like a collection of different cryptos, people will go to the ends of the earth to complete their collections.
100 years from now, people will be collecting cryptos and say to themselves " i want the original cryptos that came out 100 years ago", the same exact way the buffalo nickle worked.... all these coins coming out now, are the original alt cryptos, mostly the same thing with different logos. soon there will be 1000x alt coins... and you will be wondering why you didnt hang on to the originals.
what do u guys think? does my logic make logic?
That's just stupid. Physical coins, are a physical object, that can be touched, held, collected. Some are rare, which gives them value. The fact that people threw them out, or abused them so many years ago, is what gives them their value. Its like hockey cards, and comic books. Back in the day, no one ever thought they'd have any value, so, they stuck them in the spokes of their bikes, or read them until the pages were tattered. The lucky few who stuck them away, just incase, cashed in. Now that people know these things build value, most collectors take very good care of their collectables. They will never be as rare, as the really old ones, they will never have the same value. Crypto coins, are just 1's and 0's. They can't be lost, or misplaced. They can't be damaged or torn. Their supply, can never go down, they can never become rare. They will never be collectable.
