Why is it important or relevant on Bitcointalk that you "are a girl". Are you a child? (Adults don't tend to call themselves "girls", rather "women"). I also don't know any "girls" who feel the need to continuously say "I am a girl". Why do that? Why not be a human and an equal?
It was relevant to those two topics. Look at my signature, there's no mention. Look at my other topics, no mention. I don't know where u r from, but here in the UK everyone who is either a teen, in their 20s or even early 30s is referred to as a girl (or bird) unless they dress super maturely, are married or have kids, which then sort of puts them into a grown "woman" category I guess. |

Usually girls don't make such a point of "since I'm a girl myself". But there *have* been many guys posing as girls, bringing up that they are "a girl", as part of their scams. Why would you want to bring to everyone's attention that you're a girl. Like you did here. And here: Hii!
Just wondering if there are any fellow girls on here who are into Bitcoin mining, trading, etc. It seems it's mainly guys. We are roughly 50% of the population of this planet yet I can't find any girls who are into Bitcoins, anywhere.
To lonely nerds, "a girl" might be a big deal, but I don't know any females who are so hung up on and feel the need to advertise that they are female. Watch out guys! It was relevant to the post, both times. I've also started like 10 other posts without mentioning I'm a girl, cause it wasn't relevant. I'm not a "lonely nerd", I'm a girl, and some of my best friends are "nerds" so a bit more respect pls. |

She's got a boyfriend...mmm...in that case approach her "as a friend", any excuse will do i.e. offer help with something or ask her to recommend a movie or music or whatever. Get close to her as a friend and take that opportunity to show her why you're a great guy (without being too obvious). If you're lucky, sooner or later her relationship will go thru a rough patch. If the guy is great I'm afraid you don't stand a chance. But if the guy is a jerk, well, she'll be single again soon, which is great news for you! |

[that was sarcasm/irony, and not personal...] ... , especially since I got scammed myself months ago buying a miner (not on this forum, on eBay), and *maybe* for a second time now if butterfly labs don't deliver. That's almost £4k mate, not funny. I know I'm not the only one who's been scammed and I understand why you guys are so scared of scammers, I am too! I was trying to make two points: (1) although there's a need to prove yourself before being trusted, there should be no need to prove yourself to avoid being called a scammer; (2) even though both fabiola! and samaricanin have not "proven" themselves by sending pics to someone, only fabiola! was called a scammer (due to her gender). BBC iPlayer TV programmes are available to play in the UK only.  It was super short anyway, the guy asked what's the name of a crypto currency bla, and the geeky guy responded "Bitcoin" and he said "correct" and moved on to a different subject straight away. Pretty uneventful. |

Congrats to you if you have loads of spare cash to invest right now, I say make the most of it and scoop as many deals as you can.
You didn't even need cash to profit from the stupid $300 wall on Bitstamp. It was clearly depressing the price on the other exchanges and I managed to scoop up coins at $30x on Bitfinex 30 minutes after depositing some BTC into my margin account. I have since closed the position and transferred out the profit as coins ... without even having to get verified or wiring any fiat. Well done but I haven't got into that side of things just yet, it's still a bit of mystery to me |
